The USA Embassy is pleased announce Spirit Airlines will operate three additional humanitarian flights. One flight will depart April 30 from Alfonso Bonilla Aragóand International Airport (CLO) in Cali. A second flight will depart May 1 from José María seeórdova International Airport (MDE) in Medellin. A third flight will depart May 3 from El Dorado International Airport (BOG) in Bogotá. All three flights will arrive at Fort Lauderdale. Hollywood International Airport (FLL) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Onward flights available.

These flights have been made available to allow USA Citizens and Legal Permanent Residents to return to the United States. Please contact Spirit Airlines directly for seat availability, reservations, and pricing information.

These flights can only be booked online.

If you are interested in returning to the United States, please take advantage of these flights. The USA Government cannot guarantee the ability to arrange flights indefinitely. USA Citizens should return immediately to the United States, unless you are prepared to remain abroad for an indefinite period.

I was out for a walk this afternoon and wandered by Botero Plaza. I took the photo with my back to the Nutibara then walked through the plaza toward ground zero. There were more girls hanging that I remember seeing in weeks. Based on what I heard from the President and his ministers tonight (intercity public transport and private vehicle use will be allowed for people who are working in approved industries. Construction and manufacturing so far), and based on what I saw in the streets, I would say April 27 will see the full scale return of the so-called "informal labor" economy (fruit vendors, 2nd hand clothing etc). The police have been leaving them be since the beginning of the quarantine but there haven't been nearly as many as normal out and about on main thoroughfares. I started to see a bit of that today walking around. What that means to us is we will likely see more girls we can interact with.

Isn't the restriction over? The website here, https://coronaviruscolombia.gov.co/C...-19-marzo.html, says international travelers are restricted until April 21st, which was yesterday.

This is easy for me to say but I feel the girl you semi-wifed up has to deal with what she finds rooting around your trash cans and get on with servicing you, or get the fuck out. Spirit Airlines operated a round trip flight to Medellin today from Fort Lauderdale.

I mention this in case there may be a chance Spirit would bring Americans here. I am guessing it's a not starter and Spirit is dead heading on the southbound but I don't know.

From what I heard Spirit is not deadheading it, but actually flying Colombians back into Colombia who where stranded in the USA and than returning with Americans. As far as bringing Americans into Colombia, well that's not going to be happening for what I suspect a long time. I hope I'm wrong on this one, and something is worked out like in some of the Asian Countries where you get tested before boarding the plane or upon arrival and don't get quarantined for two weeks, if not, tourism and mongering won't be resuming anytime soon until there is a vaccine.

You capture the Botero scene well. Did you notice that about half the benches near Degrieff were removed? I don't remember if that happened since the quarantine or not. Those benches are rarely used by anyone but street girls and sacaleros. The past week or so the police have been cracking down on loitering girls as you mentioned.

Walked through Botero / Veracruz today, as I do most days. Some days are quite slow. Police aggressively getting people to move on, nobody allowed to sit down. None are open that I am aware of and I haven't heard of any operating on the QT. I did mention here a few days ago that a few of the apartments are operating quietly.

The government already indicated that bars, nightclubs, and restaurants will continue to be restricted if they have capacity of more than 50. That might be an opening for casas. There is also the solo exercise loophole but it is 5 AM to 8 AM only and you are supposed to stay within one kilometer of your residence. That seems a harder way to hook up with girls than just having them to your apartment. Of course you have to have the contacts.

The wording "confirmed cases" does not sound very good associated with a casa. I suspect depending on how the Government opens up the Country supposedly now on May 11, there will be some wording about these type or establishments albeit in code such as beauty salon, hairdresser, etc. When they open, it will be interesting how they operate moving forward, and I am sure there will be some interesting posts.
