Just to be clear I did not say I had not been with any of them, but I have not yet to been with all of them. Two of them are not available on FB because that is not their mode of working, I met them by other means, one lives in Cali. Total Day 1: 631,500 pesos. Bank was giving 3314 (calculated from actual withdrawals) so $190.

One ATM I used recently showed that option offering their exchange rate. If you cancel, it should give you the money at the clearing house rate, which is always better. 3314 is not a good rate from an ATM. Did you figure the ATM fee when you calculated the rate? For reference, the ATM rate will be real close to the xe.com rate from two days prior to the transaction. I think the ATM rate changes around 8 pm. Since you took the money out Tuesday, you should have received about 3404 (Friday's rate).

BBVA, Davivienda, Banco Pichincha, and Scotiabank Colpatria ATM's do not have fees.

It's not so hard, point to one of the hotels and hold up all ten fingers three times. They will take care of the rest. If you want to get phone numbers or have an extended session you would need to be able to communicate further.

I concur with your comments, and have some comments of my own. As having lots of experience with Sosua in years past, I can see how this poster Mongerloin was a bit perplexed on the El Centro street scene. Two totally different places for sure, and going from one to another can be difficult, especially when coming from Sosua where every available girl will come on to you, where as in El Centro you have to basically make the first move. The Sosua chicas have lots of experience dealing with gringos, in fact that is 100% of their clients, where as in Medellin it's the opposite, except for a hand-full of gringos. In other words, the clients in Medellin are are basically all locals, perhaps over 95% of them. So in this context, lots of the Chicas working in El Centro have limited experience with gringos, where it's the opposite in Sosua. In regards to who is working in El Centro, anyone standing around is working, and so are all of the girls walking around selling candy. There are of course some exceptions to this, but you have to ask yourself, why are these girls hanging around, what for?

As far as what to say these girls, as you have inferred that I am well schooled in this, it's really going to be a function of the mongers Spanish speaking skills. For those with limited Spanish speaking skills, it's going to be a challenge, but can be overcome if kept very simple as far as what is expected. One thing you eluded to in your post was regarding girls that approach you and staying away from them, in my experience it goes deeper than that. Besides the ones that come on to you, I have found that the girls that I have approached that within thirty seconds are telling you how good they are and pushing to go to the room are to be avoided as well.

From Colombianos she gets about 60 mil.

Unless she's one of the very few super hotties out there, one can probably easily be had for 100 mil, especially if you can jive with them, and even better without the G Translator, LOL.

For those of you have been following the Coronavirus, it has been reported that Brazil has confirmed it's first case of the virus with it being the first one reported in South America.

Additionally, today the Colombian government has shut down the border with Venezuela over concerns regarding the virus.

And finally, and this not good news, the Salud del Valle Cauca has reported that 4 Colombians who have just arrived from Italy have the symptoms of the virus, yet this has yet to be confirmed by testing.

So it may turn out in the next few days that if these Colombians do have the Coronavirus, and no other cases are reported elsewhere in South America, that Colombia will be be at the forefront of all this for South America.

So what exactly does this mean for our hobby here, and those who spend a lot of time here. This is not good, and travel to and from the Country could possibly be shut down either by the Colombian government (Venezuela), the USA, and / or others.

I am curious as to what others think.

Before any critics I have already RTFF and research this here with no success. I am a Canadian heading to Medellinin end March. I need a lot of cash for the weekend since I am getting there Friday night. I found out that I can wire myself via Xoom a PayPal service and picked up there in any Bancolombia. I am planning to pick it up Saturday morning. I am trying to find out if anybody here did this and if they were able to pick up the money without any problem using their passport? Bear in mind I was told with ATM is a limit of 300 $ for 2 days with my bank and that is why I am using this Xoom service.

This is also true with most Facebook girls. I'm a sucker for an exhibitionist. One of the reasons I walk El Centro is for the eye candy, especially the ones who are literally letting it hang out.

On Facebook there is a certain class of girls who are always posting more provocative photos. Apparently the Colombia division of Facebook censorship is understaffed. However, most of these girls get reported as no better than average providers. That's been my experience with them. A rare few are worth a shot.

Same thing with the girls constantly messaging about how much they want to see me. The most aggressive ones tend to be the least fun.

Sometimes when I see one I like, I conduct a friendly interview, chit chat for a few minutes, and them politely blow them off by telling them I just ate, or give them some other excuse on purpose to see how they respond. The ones that get all pissed off that I don't go with them is a pretty good indicator that they might not be a good provider. Where as the ones that are cordial, polite, and it was nice meeting you, that's another story, and at that point I either go with them, or come back to them.

You and I could probably disagree on anything. Which is good. I'm not learning anything new from guys who always agree with me. I knew you'd have better insight on Centro and I just learned that there's not much difference between dealing with street girls and Facebook girls.
