A few quick thoughts before I post a detailed TR.

Medellin is awesome. I will definitely be back. Stayed at the M2, never again. The hill sucks & I just had both knees scoped so it was quite a struggle going up. I'll be back but only if the M1 has space.

-1) The Mansion is awesome! I don't know how anyone could ever complain about this place. Robert & Boyd were as good a host as could be asked for. This was my first trip so it fit perfectly.

-2) The 7/4 Pool Party was an adventure in itself, I will be back next year. At the M1!

-3) I've heard people on here complaining about the price of the Mansion girls. Really? 150,000 COP= $52.81 or less if you use a Schwab card at the ATM as their rate is better. $52 to hook up with a model quality chica that wouldn't give you the time of day back here in the P#why Prison. Hard for me to believe anyone can complain about that!

-4) Some guys are willing to pay $75 to be set up with the GFE. Again. Really? You're going to pay somebody to have them tell a chica to treat this guy like he is your BF because he's paying me $75? You can get that 10 X over at The Mansion, hook up, spend time, bring them out for dinner, whatever and pay the chica the same amount without having to go thru a chica broker. And you can choose from several girls. I just don't get it!!

-5) While I met some really cool guys at the M, there are always a goofball in the crowd. One was complaining about not finding any skinny girls at the M, on the street or in the strip clubs. Un-fricking-believable!! Another, a stunt double for Millhouse on the Simpsons, was so proud of himself, his Spanish speaking ability & the fact that he was retiring next year it was nauseating to listen to him talk for more than 5 min much less continue to talk to him after meeting him. Within 3 minutes of meeting him at breakfast one morning he told me 2 X that he was fluent in Spanish, 3 X that he was retiring next year & he even had the huevos to brag about himself to someone he just met & say "I'm a Professor and I'm good at it!" Half the guys on this board could go take a test & be a "Professor' tomorrow! I heard him speaking to a cab one afternoon & I swear, Peggy Hill speaks as well as a local native speaker compared to his cartoon Spanish. I truly feel sorry for the guy!

-6) why'all can have my share of the casa girls. The girls aren't bad, I just find the casas disgusting. I'll pay for the Mansion (dare I say GF? Experience. I am not a germophobe but do you really think those sheets are washed between pops? I doubt I'll ever be back!

-7) why'all can have my share of Mayorista. That place is a f at *ng access pool. I went Fri pm with Jim Dandy & Galan55 & another ISG guy. I wasn't drunk so I was very aware of my surroundings. There were so many groups of locals that were simply casing the crowd. Several times I noticed local guys eyeballing us (not simply people watching) & as soon as I made eye contact with them they quickly turned their heads. Not a nice place. Only saw 2 spinners worth hitting that none of us pulled. Probably never again!

Anyway, I'm one of the CR (6 years & 15 trips) converts several people on here were complaining about so hammer away if you must. I'll be back & there will still be plenty of chicas to go around.

Greg used to post directly on this site years ago and the Mansion gets a lot of free press given that they've been around for years and a lot of the forum member posts their experiences their which is fine. I've been on a lot of the other boards on this Site in Asia, etc. And have yet to see someone posting / advertising their business establishment like is being done on this Forum.

By the way, if you arrive late at night the Nutibara is not bad at all. The quality of rooms varies so if I haven't liked the one offered I've asked for a different one until I get a good room. Then if I'm moving, I have all morning to look at other places without carrying luggage around. I've got better rooms that way in most places as I haven't committed myself in advance (obviously this doesn't work with places that sell out though.).

I operate the same way. I booked Nutibara for one night at first, because it was so close to the bus stop I could just do a 40 yard dash and not get mugged LOL. They put me on the top floor with a walk out rooftop terrace, it was so nice I had no need to find another hotel for the rest of my trip. Plus Nutibara turned out to be a great base of operation. It was smack dab in the middle of the strip clubs I was doing my late night runs with ease. Pic is the view I had at night. The hookers who came over liked it too. It was just so romantic taking them out on the terrace, looking over El Centro while fondling them. The room came out to about US $40 per night, the first time I brought a working girl back the front desk was telling me I had to pay extra. I told him no, I have a reservation for 2. He gave me some bullshit about I'm a foreigner and she's Colombian, so that's be 10200 extra (what an odd number.) I reluctantly agreed without further argument, because it was only like US $3. The second girl I brought in, he gave me the same BS. But at the end when I checked out, he forgot to add the fee in.

As I stayed longer, I did see more hot women out and about. Just to be clear, when I initially made the comparison to Bogota, I was making reference to the working girls in Santa Fe. The hot ones I saw at Fiebre Sex, almost all of them told me they're paisas. That's why I was like, damn did they all moved from Medellin to work in Bogota?

Anyhow, the club I found to have the greatest number of hot chicks was Maracaibo. I didn't make my way to Parque Lleras but I see what you and Mr. E were saying. Wealthier women may be prettier. Last night at Hotel Nutibara, there were a whole bunch of people just checked in. They are all middle class well to do couples. The women of the younger couples were smoking hot. I asked were they celebrating a wedding or something, one of them told me no, it was a church marriage conference or couples' retreat something like that. Damn girl while your husband is sneaking out to Ejecutiva, let me keep you entertained!

Arrived at the airport last night after 10 pm, went outside and the buses to El Centro were right there. The fare is now 9000, posted on a windshield decal. Got dropped off at the final stop behind Nutibara.

I am thinking about taking this bus when I arrive as well. Can you or anyone tell me if the bus was direct from the airport to Centro or were there any stops in between. How long vs a taxi. I've been around the Hotel Nutibarra area in the day but never at night any worries with luggage in hand.

I've taken the bus between the airport and Nutibara several times. There was a brief drop-off but not lots of stops. In effect, it's a direct run. It's longer than a taxi but a comfortable ride and a good vehicle. I don't usually travel with vast amounts of luggage but arriving at night I walk pretty quickly from the bus stop round to the front of Nutibara. A lot of people get off the bus at the same time so it's not as if the street is empty. Just stay alert. I avoid the back of the Nutibara if I can, especially after midnight, but I'd use the bus again unless I had a reason not to. The only slight problem I had was once during the day when it got stuck in traffic not far from the Nutibara. I got off and walked but getting through crowds with any luggage is a hassle. Since then (especially looking at the prices local airlines charge for checked-in luggage, and the ease of travelling anywhere with just a backpack, the backpack is my first choice. In crowds, I wear it on the front and on cheap buses it goes on my lap.) Hope that helps.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that hold hands and spend time romancing hookers. Nice post. Those places you are visiting such as puntocom, Maracaibo, conejitas, degriff, are the lower end joints were you often find the poor Barrio girls and are not not always the best places to get the best representation of paysa beauty. If you are goin to stay in el centro try also new life, zandalay, Paris, coffee shop, and club last Amigas sexy and the higher end Casas such as energy in Laureles and Loutron, go to Parque Lleras in Poblado and also club face II. Take the metro train and visit las avenida 70 in Laureles and other areas and also take the metro cable. That way you'll get a pretty good sampling of paysa beauty. Keep enjoying Medellin.

Lots of customers on a Friday night, but the problem was, there weren't enough chicks. The ones that were there, weren't too impressive either. The strippers on stage were doing something weird with shaving cream, spraying and smearing all over their body, and were rubbing it into the tipping guys' heads.

So I moved over to Club Maracaibo Show. Not as many customers there, girls-to-guys ratio was much better. Chatted up a 22 year old, negotiated 85000 for half hour, room, and BBBJ. When I pulled out my money, turned out I only 70000 in my pocket. She said ok let's go. FWIW, I've never been to Bogota. As another poster noted, little interest in vacationing somewhere where I need to wear a jacket. But, with a metro area of over 10 million, I'm sure there's incredible talent to choose from.

Anyone on the bus can ask to be dropped off anywhere on the route. The last time I rode that bus, we left the airport with almost a full load. When the bus arrived at the Nutibara, I was the only passenger. The bus does not have any scheduled stops. If you arrive in Centro at night, stay at the area where the bus stops. There should be taxis there, or pass by often.

The north route directly takes you to Centro while the southern route stops at San Diego first and ends at Centro. The both routes take around 45-50 minutes, 15-20 minutes longer than taxi ride. The area behind Nutibara Hotel is unsafe in the night. I have no idea why They keep bus station there. Colombians do not think that much.

Great report Parkinsons. As far as the beauty is concerned you have to remember that you were at the casas and strip clubs where the girls are not really dolled up. But check out Parque Lleras tonight where the nonpros are if you want to witness the Paisa beauty that everyone speaks of.

Yes somebody did write about the discrepancy in hotness between the civilian chicks and the working girls. Perhaps I'll make a trip to Parque Lleras and find out tonight. Right now, I'm at the Acevedo metro station waiting to take the J line cable cars up to Santo Domingo. The line stretches the whole way down the entire platform. Damn!
