Used a credit card to make my first reservation at the Mansion as there was no way around it.
After my first trip I just leave a deposit for my next trip in cash. And when I know when I'm coming down next I just call them up and have the full amount applied to my reservation.

That being said, in this oldest profession in the history of the world, there have always been Johns who think that they have "figured it out", a way to "beat the system." Its as old as civilization. But he must now know that his rep is on the line. And this isn't just bragging in a bar. On the forum, people can always go back and look up EXACTLY what you said.
Remember that movie "Chasing Amy?" ". Every man needs to believe that they are Marco f#$*ng Polo when it comes to sex. Things would just roll a lot easier if everyone would just realize that there is nothing under the sun that hasn't been done long before you ever got here."

Also nobody cares that you're 63, making great money in the states and can't get laid at home. Wonder why? Hahaha.
If you want to report back, ask some questions right on. If you want to be a dbag and brag about yourself. Got nothing for ya homie!
You'll like SEA better.

I have news for you, you're all going to fail.

Posts: 22I'm from US and I paid upfront for 2 days in La Mansion which is their requirement for resservations, by credit card and was charged on my card around $200, would have been $85 if by Paypal so maybe that's where you got $85-90 from. But from their website the room I wanted went for 158,000 pesos which equals around 85 with 25% added fort credit card comes out to $100.

I was just brainstorming a way to try to utilize this Facebook thing, since everybody in Colombia seems to be using it. I don't use Facebook a lot, so I felt a little behind the times. But at the same time, I like places like the Mansion the way they are! There is no substitute for a live, controlled environment; the Mansion, FKK, Campo, etc.
But from the recent posts, it sounds like the scammers are already knee-deep into Facebook. And I suppose, the more you flesh it out, the more it just sounds like a Facebook escort site. The problem with most escort websites is that they always have the face pictures blurred out, and the names used are generic, like "Jasmine" or "Tiffany." There is no accountability to any of it. I have never understood how anyone could use a site like that. Just based on a blurred out picture, you are going to meet a stranger in a strange place, carrying a wallet loaded with cash? Suckers.

Posts: 716Well this confirms that he might have seen my original post or the other one I made on another board. That's why I was hesitant to post because of the nature of gossip. We could be siting the same second hand story or dude might me siting me on the third hand reference.

Posts: 500You can tell they are fake cops because real cops in Colombia and Costa Rica can be bribed for MUCH less LOL.
I've never advised anyone to fuck around on Facebook. Even if it's not a scam, much higher chance of the girl being flaky or appearing different than the pics or misrepresenting her personality, services, etc. There is no substitute for a person-to-person meeting and that is all there is to it in my book. I recently met an American guy, very nice dude, but I think he was a bit shy because he seemed to prefer online ads and Facebook to meet the girls. He spent a ton of time scrambling for plan Bs and waiting around. That's my main fear, not some bullshit scam that would have me telling the guys to [CodeWord140] off in an instant.

Posts: 2927More Negativity. Close Your Eyes!
This info confirms what SlamCity7777 posted earlier this week.
Taken from C R T and posted by Estebanh:
"I am passing on second hand information from a reliable source:
A gringo visitor invited a chica he had connected with on Facebook to his apartment. Apparently, she was __________ and he was unaware of _______. She was followed shortly by two (fake) cops. They demanded and got $3000.00 from the guy.
This is all unconfirmed and normally I would not spread innuendo, but this is important stuff to know. If people get the idea they can do this, it will happen more.
If I get more info about this, I will post.
Edited to comply with the rule 22. I know TweedleDee is very sensitive about this subject.
UPDATE:
It has been confirmed that the gringo in question was taken for a very large sum of money by fake cops.
These are 2 girls in question Manuela Manu and Camilla Cordona:
https://www.facebook.com/people/Cami...00001717641134
https://www.facebook.com/manuelamanu0?fref=ts
They will come to your apartment and then later send their fake cop friends to extort money from you."
======
This broad actually sent me a friend request last week. After I saw this posted on Dec 14th I promptly ex-communicated her ass (or "them").

I merely made the suggestion that he and Av8r would have better luck in reaching their target audience by opening their own user threads. Av8r's Liquid Strip user thread seems to be doing just fine and is working as predicted. How is that negative?
Negative, like pointing out that there are possibly two facebook profiles that are either fake or complicit in setting gringos up to get robbed or extorted (or both)?
We on this board have forever been cautioning and informing other mongers of the various pitfalls involved in this game. Perfect example of this is guys taking each mongering destination as a "one size fits all approach" and not tailoring their approach accordingly.
Do whatever you like with the facebook group. I was only pointing out that you should be prepared for any backlash that results from bogus information being given out to your group by some random stranger who you've friended on fb (hell, most of the guys on here lie about what they have paid for sex with a certain chica. Some even lie about chicas they have been with. These are the easiest to spot because the only photos they have of said chica is the one they rip from her facebook profile).
Are you prepared to be fingered as the point man as the result of some bobo's stupidity and deceit?
Medellin is not Costa Rica, is not Thailand, is not Sosua, etc. Life is cheap down here.

So now I'm here to have some fun. I understand that Facebook girls for the most part don't want thousands of messages daily and that is not my intention. Obviously, not everyone here is taking time to sit back and consider what the concept was about. It was all about intel just like ISG but with access to info on their facebook to make contact. I didn't plan on having 1, 000 friends on the account. Again, it's a concept at the moment and open to changes and considerations.
SavePros, I come here like everyone to gain access to intel. That is what the site is for. And that should be what the Facebook site is for as well. For those that just want to chat in facebook. Many of the members here have no desire or understanding of facebook and they obviously won't use it. You are too quick to criticize others. We all have our unique personalities but review your past dozen posts and see the pattern that you can come off quite negative towards others. If that's just your personality then that's on you but you shouldn't constantly be negative. You have been in this field for awhile and just be happy and enjoying life. Not so damn negative.

Get's fishier. IMO at this point I feel there is enough circumstantial evidence to say staying away from her or Camila Cardona is a good idea!
