OK guys, for the frequent posters here, why'all know I've posted my intention of coming to Colombia on this forum. I originally planned for a full 3 months to be split between Colombia, Sao Paulo, & Rio. The bad news is I will have settle for 9 weeks instead. The good news is the trip is still happening! I plan to stay 3 weeks in Colombia.

I'm currently shopping for flight tickets. I found flights from LAX to Bogota to be almost half as much as flights to Sao Paulo. So its obvious from the money side, that I should fly into Bogota. I then will stay one night in Bogota and then fly to Rio the next day. After spending 6 weeks in Brazil, I will fly back to Bogota and stay in Colombia for 3 weeks. Then from Bogota, I will fly back to the states. I know logistically this is doable. How does flight plan seem to you guys? I will have problems with customs in either Brazil or Colombia? That's the only thing I'm worried about.

I know Colombia require travelers from Brazil a yellow vaccination to enter the country, which I already gotten earlier this year, so I should be good from that.

Maybe I'm not reading it correctly, but whilst you've found cheap tickets to Bogota, you'll have to pay for BOG-GIG as well, no? I mean, does the total price difference justify the extra hassle of having a long layover in BOG and paying for a hotel, considering that you're coming back to Colombia for 3 weeks anyway?

Damn I would be paying $300 added to a already expensive Verizon plan. I only pay $70 a month for two phones.

You're outside the US 35 days every month? The plan provides 5 days free international roaming per month. After that it's $10 per day ($5 in Mexico and Canada). If you spend the entire month outside the US it would be $230-$260 more.

For someone who travels internationally frequently, there are better options than what I use. For someone who uses lots of data, but seldom leaves the US for long periods, it's a good option.

For someone who travels inside the US frequently, unless they're flying city to city, T-Mobile is almost useless. Driving 75 miles (200-300 if you're in the west) just to get enough of a signal to receive an important email doesn't work for me. Spending 12 hours with zero service doesn't work either. Not to mention having no service at home.

If I go back to spending 3 days every week in Toronto, I'll probably have to make a change, or just use the company phone.

Not all AirBnB's are Chica friendly, do your due diligence!

Is it a problem bringing chicas back to vacation apartments in Medellin the way it is in Cartagena? Do I need to be looking for a Chica friendly place or am I safe to just find an Airbnb?

There are ton's of beautiful women in Venezuela which is probably why they have won the Miss Universe contest so many times.

There are quite a few fat Colombian women out there too and just by looking at them it would be difficult for me to tell if they were from Venezuela unless I talked to them for a bit.

Well if you don't have a problem with decent looking beached whales, your going to have a field day and the pick of the litter in Medellin with all the fat Venezuelans. In fact, you could easily line up a couple of tag teams to take "arriba" who will do everything your looking for. Sounds like your going to be cream pieing a lot of ladies on your trip! I had a couple of girls on my last trip that I would go out drinking and dancing Salsa & Merengue, then head back to my apartment for 2-3 hours of real GFE playtime. Total time around 6 hours. I would give them $200,000 plus $20,000 for taxi. One was like this is a lot of money, for all the fun I had it was dirt cheap. I was at the Mansion one night and had the Chica from 1 am until 6 am, I gave her $200,000 she was happy. There really is no set rule for me, lots of times no prices are discussed and I just pay them what I think is fair. Some girls will want to negotiate the price before hand, which in my experience were some of the worst performers.

What do you consider steep? I speculated the Facebook girl mentioned might be available for 150 k, however when she's talking to a new guy she'll probably ask for 200-300 k. That's now been confirmed.

It's pretty common, any time you're dealing with a freelancer, for her to start at a higher price. At the current rate 300 k is less than $100. This girl could get $300 per hour in the US. Some guy who's never been outside the US before might be thrilled to get her for under $100.

The going rate of 150 k is less than $50.200 k is only about $16 more. Is that too much? Most Facebook girls are fine with staying 2 or 3 hours for 150-200 k. Downtown casas charge about 50 k for 30 minutes.

It comes down to knowing your own preferences. I like to spend some time talking, take a shower together or sit in the jacuzzi for awhile, get in lots of foreplay, spend some time trying to make sure she enjoys herself, work through several positions and then relax together for awhile before grabbing a shower to clean up. With some girls I can stretch that out to 3 hours. While I might be able to do that in a casa, it'll cost me 250-300 k.

I did the Medellin Walking tour and yes, they do explain what's going on with all the hookers downtown.

It's mind blowing how many Chicas are out there.

When I am down there and I see the English guided tour groups being escorted thru the area, I wonder if any of the people on the tour ever ask, why are there so many women standing around all over the place. Perhaps the tour guide tells them what's up?

Another thing I can't fathom is how many clients some of these Chicas actually get given that there are so many of them. I see some of the prettier Venezuelans going arriba. But some of them I bet are lucky to snag a customer at all.

I also notice a lot of guys similar in age (Venezuelans) sometimes talking with the girls. I have to assume these are their boyfriends or husbands who they are supporting..

I myself require BBJ from my Chica's and won't use them if this is not on the menu. A classier way of asking for it is "Oral Natural".

Out of hundreds of friend requests I sent out since late 2017 around 1 in 3 have accepted. I use a fake name but my profile is a clear shot of my face and I have a half dozen selfies of me in front of famous landmarks. I got a backlog of dozens of girls I've promised to meet but haven't yet because I can't possible fuck them all and I already got a huge stable of regulars that I can call upon who I know will perform well for a decent price.

Tinder is more of a crapshoot. So many girls just use it to advertise their Instagram pages (at least you can message them like you would with facebook). I've had more success getting matches when I play up being a sugar daddy--talking about how generous I am, how I like to spoil a girl "who can show me a good time", etc. Once I get a match I move the conversation over to Whatsapp as quickly as I can to evade their censors.

CBJ is a mood killer for me so I always include BBJ in my opening offer, like "150 mil. Chupas sin condon". About half agree immediately. The rest demand more money. I've honestly only had a handful outright refuse to budge and insist condom for everything. And some of them eventually caved and agreed after it was clear I had lost interest in them.

Easy way to mitigate being robbed: limit the amount of cash you have on hand and make them come to you!

Okay. Letting you know. This is easier, but not much.

As soon as I land, I turn on my Google Pixel 2 XL with my Verizon Unlimited plan. My phone works immediately. I get 0.5 GB daily of high speed data. Drops to 2 G speed after that. Once per day Verizon texts me to let me know how many free days I have left, or to tell me I'm being charged $10 for the day. No need to switch SIMs, no need to activate a SIM, no need to pay 2 different companies.

It's not cheaper. My Verizon plan is $55/ month. I have an $850 phone and after 5 days in Colombia my International plan costs $10/ day.

However, I get unlimited 4 G data, 75 GB per month of 5 G data and 30 GB of mobile hotspot data in the US. Most importantly I get the Verizon network. The T-Mobile / Metro PCS network is fine, as long as you never leave the city. There are too many gaping holes in the network for me..

It's a good spot if you are staying in West Poblado and want to avoid traffic.

The Colombian people are very proud and whenever I visit I am always respectful of their culture. I many Colombians are wary of the sex tourist due to all the articles that are written about us in their papers. I was in a Cafe there around 3 weeks ago in El Poblado and they had a sign that said "No Sex Tourists". So when you visit have a good time but try to show a little respect.

This type of reaction is inevitable. It's not the guys who overpay the girls who are the biggest threat to a mongering destination. It's the guys who binge on Narcos, thinking it's a realistic representation of Medellin.

There's a regular stream of posts from them, and who knows how many get blocked by the admins, displaying the wrong attitude. They all plan on partying like rock stars, with no regard for the people who live there.

Add in the recent fool on YouTube who was teaching guys to harass and intimidate Colombian women. It's bound to create some anger towards the US tourists. There's other factors, but I don't want to get a political argument started.

Will it affect the typical visitor? Probably not. If you're using discretion, keeping a low profile and showing some respect most people will remain friendly. You might get a few more nasty looks than before, but no real issues.

I like TMobile, I get to most most countries south of the boarder and the phone just works. Internet, texting all free and phone calls $.25 per minute.

I don't even have to call them before I leave.

One of us misunderstand what PN is saying. You are roaming so you don't have a problem. Try to put a Colombia SIM in your sprint phone to see if it works.

I have used Uber in Medellin and found them to be pretty hit and miss on picking you up. On my last trip I would just walk outside of my apartment and have a Taxi within 1 minute. For the negligible price difference they are not worth the hassle.

Today is my break day. After 4 long sessions with 5 girls in 3 days, I'm running out of steam. Yesterday's was the best and worst all rolled into one.

I was scheduled to meet a former webcam model who worked for me at noon. However at 3 am my rheumatoid arthritis decided to join the party. I managed to put it back to bed by 9:30 and got ready for my day.

Next obstacle was Uber. I was trying to get to Oviedo mall to exchange some dollars (why is explained in another post) and drivers kept canceling. Finally a taxi pulled up and I was on my way. After completing the transaction I headed to the Metro. We were meeting at Prado station after she finished her classes.

I arrived 30 minutes early and found a shady spot to sit, wait and respond to some messages. Then some glue sniffer decided I needed to hear about his problems. Most will leave me alone after I wave them off, but this guy kept getting closer. Then he got belligerent, which got him a belligerent response (not recommended). I left him cussing me and went back up the stairs to the metro station.

After a metro employee told me I couldn't sit on the stairs because there were too many people, my mood began to deteriorate. Prado is probably the slowest station on the main trunk. There were very few people coming and going. Another beggar, who insisted on whispering got me riled up again. Eventually I chased him away. Now all I needed was for the girl to cancel.

When I visit Medellin which is quite often I will rent a apartment for a month and will check into the Mansion for 2 or 3 nights in the beginning. I always have a great time partying there and grab around 10 -12 phone numbers from the Chicas there. Then when I leave to go back to my apartment I have plenty of screened Chica's to draw on. Facebook is a little difficult for me for obvious reasons, kind of difficult getting that 2nd account set up for me any way. Tried a few Chica's on PhotoPrepagos and Mileroticas, not so great, lots of airbrushing or wanting a lot more money that what their ad states. So yeah, I like the Mansion.

I admit I have a love-hate relationship with the Mansion. Yep it is a bit of a crutch and one certainly does not have to stay there to meet great girls. But it has some advantages even for the seasoned MDE visitor.

First (and with an unblemished history of heterosexuality) I've made some great friends from the fellow travelers that have stayed there. Second they do an excellent job of validating cedulas. JjBee62 wisely advises us to avoid 'Any woman who claims to have lost her cedula. There's a good chance she doesn't have one because she's not 18 yet. ' The mansion regularly busts girls with fake cedulas. You can buy one in MDE for a few dollars. Many JB girls use their older sisters or cousins cedula. You can get in just as much trouble banging a 17 yo with a fake cedula as you can a 17 yo with no cedula. And while I pass on 80% of the girls that frequent there, I've found some great ones there, especially girls that are new to the Mansion. New girls are always showing up there. The older crew hates me and labeled me 'Senior Cita' because I'm always putting them off telling them I already have a Cita, often with girls that don't fequent the Mansion. I don't care. I speak passable Spanish. I have 1000 MDE contacts in my Facebook. .

Even if you didn't get hits on google with her pics you should take notice that all the pics are glamour shots. I use Facebook exclusively and have very good success. The pics I see from girls I have from FB are with them taken from what is obviously Medellin. Only having glamour shots is a red flag. Asking for money without knowing you is a setup.
