So, 2nd night of mongering in MDE. This time I went to the Loutron, as this should be together with La isla the 2 high end clubs, as I understood from this forum. The club itself is really *really* nice, it's on a huge lot, you can't see it from the street and it's a huge house, which feels like a spa. The atmosphere inside is really relaxed and the staff was extremely friendly. Where La Isla is a huge club with tons of mongers and girls, I only saw a few other mongerers in the Loutron. After entering the bar and sipping my Heineken, 10-15 girls went in to present themselves. I would rate their beauty 7-8. In la Isla I found the range to be 5-9. Anyway, I went with a flaca with bolt-ONS who presented herself as "Vanessa". The room itself was really nice, just as the whole house is (can't say that enough, I was impressed with the house and the general atmosphere there). Vanessa asked me if I wanted to dance or have a massage. We danced a while and then went over to the sex, which was slightly disappointing. Not bad at all but neither great like the session I had in La Isla. The biggest disappointment was that she did focus on get me coming, which I hate in general, I like to pull out a few times, she did her best to prevent that. I'd rate the session as a 6 though. I'd surely visit the Loutron again though, really loved the atmosphere much more than the warehouse atmosphere of La Isla. But I guess it really depends on what you're looking for. If you're with a group of friends, La Isla might be the better destination, but for a single session, I'd prefer the Loutron.

I use my Schwab card all the time at Bancolombia. I believe it must be the newer cards with chip. The machine will tell you not to remove the card as its reading the chip. Since I get reimbursed fees I don't look much anymore but I do believe Bancolombia ask if your OK with some fee. I will look closer next time.

Not true at all. All I use in Colombia is Bancolombia with my Schwab card.

I stand corrected. I tried last fall in two different Bancolombia ATM's and they would not dispense any money, after going through all the steps. It was a Schwab chip card. I had the same problem during prior trips, so I stopped trying. No problems at Bank of Bogota and Davivienda with the same card.

That is good news, gives me another option since I will be staying in a new area during my next trip.

Picked up a Citibank debit card. The Charles Schwab account requires me to jump through too many hoops. I have my credit accounts frozen so no one can use my social for anything. Schwab needs me to unfreeze it, then I have to pay to refreeze it. Just more hassle than it's worth. The question is whether Citi affiliated ATM's are readily available in Medellin. I do believe Citi charges a 2% transaction fee, but if you get a great exchange rate, that pretty much negates this. The limited amounts you can withdrawal at an ATM in one transaction makes Wells Fargo a loser at $5 a pop, plus other fees the other bank might toss on there. And then I'm sure you'll get dinged a bit on the exchange rate as well.

I wrote down on my notepad. Withdraw money from only Bancolombia they give you the best exchange rate.

Can someone chime in on what I heard before about even ATM / banks give you counterfeit money, is that true?

Not true at all. All I use in Colombia is Bancolombia with my Schwab card.

Staying at the Mansion in the upcoming week. But, was looking to monger outside the mansion as well.

My main interest is hitting clubs where we can dance + drink with the girls and then take them out / have on-premise room?

By going through the forum, I saw that there was "Club VIP" sometime ago. But, is it closed now? That looked like a fun place to be. Are there similar clubs or casas now?

Note: I am not looking to visit strip clubs.

You are shit out of luck dude. There are just normal nightclubs in Medellin that obviously have a few P4P girls floating through from time to time, but nothing like you are looking for. If this is what you are looking for I suggest you head to Lima or to Cartagena, or consider going to Southeast Asia.

Its an ATM. Last night I made one more transaction at a different Bancolombia ATM in Parque Lleras area and this time the exchange rate is 3409.42 COP / 1 USD.

Was Bancolombia with a teller or an ATM? Bancolombia does not charge an ATM fee, and Citibank does. If you checked your bank account to see the amount withdrawn, the Citibank transaction would have included the fee, thus the lower exchange rate. Citibank is one of the few banks there that charges an ATM fee. Even though Schwab reimburses the ATM fee, I avoid Citibank because of the fee. Unfortunately, Bancolombia does not accept the Schwab card, but all the others I have tried accept it.

I have a Wells Fargo account, which charges $5 for each international withdrawal. If I go to another ATM, does this bank also charge a fee? Since I'm prepaying my hotels costs, I don't think I'll have that many expenses so I can get by with just a couple of withdrawals in my stay. It just seems like a lot of trouble to open an account to avoid fees. If the exchange rate is 3300 or 3400, that's not material to me. So if I use the Citibank ATM, then there are no additional fees, just the $5?

Me and my friends went to Medellin we rented a pent house suite 4 bedrooms with 4 private baths 3 large living rooms and two baloney's all for $60. US person a day great place but the location sucks it was about 3/4 of a mile from the main road and grocery store walking up and down the hills was a challenge for me and my friends we are all in our sixties so we took cab's none of us spoke Spanish so it was a little difficult to communicate until we met a cab driver named Osker he spoke perfect English he was born in Medellin and lived in L A and Florida he made our trip took us to all the casas and strip clubs restaurants took us sight seeing always waited for us no matter wear we went just a real nice guy his rate was 2500 an hour that's about $9 an hour he also helped us meet women if you do not speak Spanish I would recommend that you call Osker 300 XXX 2480 tell him Ron from Florida told you to call he can pick you up from the airport he will show you places that is not listed in the threads on this site hes great for a first timer. I will come back soon even if I come back alone I will call Osker and have a good time, thanks for all your info on the site not sure if it's OK to list Osker number on this site so PM me if you need his cell.

Went to Sexy Fantasias 2 / Latinas around 6:50 but there were no girls by then. The Lady at the counter showed me a dark chica and mentioned that they are closed for the day.

It was 9:30 by the time I reached Fase II, about 10 chicas sitting around and more started walking in heading to makeup room.

After about 50 minutes and 3 performances (there is about 10-15 minutes gap between each performance), a girl next door kind of girl. Maria Fernanda approached me.

She made me buy her a drink (17 K) and Quoted 180 k COP / 50 minutes, mentioned that it was fixed price. My bargaining tactics are of no use.

Session was very good. Fucked her twice in that 50 minutes and stepped out of room when my stop watch ticked 48 minutes.

There are few 9 s and 10 s but the setup is kind of unique. There is a lot of waiting game involved.

It looks like BanColombia gives the best exchange rate. I will wirte that down on my list.
