Fellow mongers, I found this very useful website with tons of whatsapp numbers and pics of prepagos. Do you see a lot of chicas right round Botero Plaza? I usually walk down a few blocks on DeGrieff. In my experience, it seemed there was more action in that area. And certainly more danger. Walked into a few places with girls snorting Coke right out in the open.

There's a ton of Chicas sitting all over the place in Botero Plaza on the benches, in front of the Museum, in front of the Church, by the public phones in front of the church. They are all street girls not working out of the bars and I have been quoted as low as 10,000 COP with the going rate at about 15,000 to 20,000 COP which I believe is the locals rate. Most are pretty raunchy but there are some exceptions. I went with one last night that quoted me 20,000 COP and she did such a good job I gave her 30,000 COP and she said I was very kind. To work the street girls you need to have your own room. I treat the girls well, sometimes I take them out for food, buy them drinks / snacks and get serviced well. I don't like the casa's as they are to controlled but I know some guys swear by them.

I have never seen any one snorting coke but there are lots of glue sniffers called sacaleros. The street alongside the Museum is what I call sacalero row as most of the girls are sniffing away and are as high as a kite. Need to be careful as the sacaleros can be agresivo if your an obvious gringo. I stay clear of them. There's also a collection from time to time of ladyboys that hang to the left of the Church in the afternoons and in the evening. I stay clear of them as well. I don't like the Avenida De La Grief bar scene as the girls are to hardcore.

The danger factor is totally a function of whether you look and / or dress like a foreigner or gringo.

Wow. I thought I am a expert about New Life, but I did't know that. Whenever I go to New Life, I wait inside of chicas waiting room. I have no problem after dark walking around the Botero Plaza & Museum area as it is patrolled by the police, in fact they use the Premier Plaza Hotel as kind of like a substation. I dress and can pass for a local, however I'm always looking around me in all directions, especially after 9 PM when everything shuts down. I've been having a blast there the past two nights.

As far as other areas walking around at night in El Centro, well it's almost like a ghost town and looks scary and I don't venture far away from the Botero Plaza and surrounding areas. For an obvious gringo I agree with you, El Centro at night is not a place to be wandering around at night.

Mayorista is pretty safe, as long as you don't stray too far from the main area. It's a fairly well-policed area.

El Centro after dark is fucking dangerous. Against my best judgment, I have wondered around there at night a few times, but I really don't recommend it unless you get a thrill out of danger.
