While I felt his advertising was at times over the top, he offered a good service to many on this board. Like a lot of people, his in person persona was much more reasoned and personable than his online persona.

While some of his adversaries may revel in his misfortune, any of us who participate in this hobby could find ourselves in hot water in a foreign and unfriendly jurisdiction despite our best efforts to comply with local laws. Yes he was warned on this board (and in person). As far as I saw, none of his girls where below legal limits. I hope he (and Eric) are ok.

Based on past events, it is wise to conclude that a gringo gets himself into a lot of trouble when he goes out of his way to help others procure women for sex. Examples are abound:

-David "Cuba Dave" Strecker (currently jailed in Costa Rica). Don't know why he got jailed in CR, but the DR kicked him out for overtly promoting sex tourism in Sosua via his YouTube videos and Facebook page

-David Joshua Brown of Lima, Peru Fame. Known around ISG as David_33.

-Noah Goldberg. Deceased. Known here as Medellin Paisa ("Medellin es una chimba!"). Although his death was related to owing money to loan sharks, he was also in the biz of procuring women for foreigners.

-Steve, owner of Liquid Lounge. Deceased. I have forgotten his ISG Handle here. He took his own life, but was also in the biz of procuring women for foreigners.

-The Doll House in Medellin. Gringos also. That pre-dates my visits to Medellin, but I've heard about it off and on in this forum. More info here:

The pattern is clearly there. And as I mentioned before, the Mansion is smart in that they do not say "Hey, book a room here and we will introduce you to Katy, Angel, Christina, etc. " They just set up the opportunity. If you cannot close the deal on your own then you shouldn't be in possession of a passport to begin with.

The one (of many) things Barry (Poblado Rentals) did very well is to not get into the business of setting gringos up with chicas. It's probably one (of the many) reasons his rental business is booming in Medellin right now. He was looking into emulating the Mansion model at one point, but I think his business partner eventally convinced him that it would not be a good idea to pursue, so he killed the plan. Hasn't hurt him one bit.

Pimping girls is illegal regardless of age in Colombia and what he was doing was pimping. He knew what he was doing was illegal but did it anyway. If you are going to visit or live in a foreign country obey the law or suffer the consequences.

I'm sure he is advertising elsewhere. Considering the current political debate on here, I'd rather see an advertisement than another Trump / Hillary is going to save / destroy the world post.

I've seen a few people who have apartments for rent advertising here with no complaints, why all the animosity for Jake? As long as it doesn't become an everyday thing, why worry?

Anyone with experience is going to scroll right past, we don't need someone to hold our hand. The ones that click over are mostly the people who are about to ask 20 stupid questions that have been answered dozens of times. Let them go bother him.

Not picking on you, but by your logic, what is the harm in a few political posts, why not just scroll by since some here find it interesting even as you do not? Why don't you understand that some find Jake's advertising with exclamation points at the end of every sentence and shameless self-promotion even more annoying than you find political posts related to hot latinas immigrating to the US? Not to mention he has his own thread for just this reason, and if anybody read it he wouldn't have to post here.

But he does offer something unique, security and peace of mind. It's not something the seasoned monger needs and it's not for the adventurous traveler, but there are plenty who feel they need that level of service.

The recently divorced workaholic who finally decides to live a little, the guy venturing out of his hometown for the first time, they have no idea where to go or what to do. If they try to go solo there's a good chance of a bad experience that will ruin the whole trip. But by paying a little more for a guide, they walk away with happy memories, and maybe after a few trips they're ready to fly solo.

Everywhere men go for cheap sex, there's someone like Jake. You should be happy he's there. He cuts down on the number of clueless noobs who just screw it up for everyone.

Agreed! Neither side is likely to convince the other side, so why the compulsion to insert a snide political remark on a travel / pussy site.

I ran into the same prick on two separate trips at the Mansion this past Winter. This guy insisted that others give in to his political views and wouldn't stop talking about it, whether out by the pool or in la Cueva. I'm not going to specify his views because it's irrelevant. I respect people regardless of their political views, unless they have no respect for others' views.

Note. Most guys at the Mansion are fun to hang with, but there's usually one or two pricks that you end up preferring to avoid.

Personally. I can't stand casas. It is so few and far between for me to find something in one that I really like that I rarely bother going to one. Not to mention that sex experience in one is generally very poor compared to having the girl in your own place.

But it seems to me that you have cultivated relationships with some attractive women that I haven't seen anywhere else. From what I can see on your website. So I would consider that to be the biggest selling point to your services.

I occasionally have friends that travel to meet me in Medellin and if they see a girl on facebook that they like and I know her. I will contact her on behalf of my friend. Saves a lot of time and hassles for my friends just because girls are so much more likely to not flake and arrive on time for someone they know and like. Than just some unknown guy that wants to get with them.

Of course there are safety issues with guys that don't know what the hell they are doing and don't speak a lick of spanish having women they don't know from bean in their apartments. Which also is a good selling point.

Not that guys can't come down and do it themselves but I can see guys wanting to pay someone to make things a bit easier and make their stay just that much more productive.

Trump isn't against immigration, as long as they immigrate legally, it's the illegal immigration and visa overstays that he wants to stop. He has married two hot, legal immigrants, so doesn't have a problem with foreigners, and has never said he doesn't like people from South America despite what your television tells you to think.
