[Paracite]

This trip report is covering my trip to Medellin at the end of May / beginning of June. I will start out and qualify my report as not being a budget minded report. Please don't bother chastising me that I overpay, I'm well versed in what the average looking paisa gets for TLN and only pay more in situations where I perceive her to be hotter / classier. BTW, the only girls I met this trip with iPhones were the ones that have tons of pics at the mansion, NOT the girls that go for more money, just proves how much volume some of these girls turn out.

I stayed at poblado rentals Studio 2 in parque lleras, which was the perfect spot for me. It can get loud on weekends, but I like the convenience of everything being right around you, and it is a great spot to people watch. I was also able to get a TIGO SIM card for my iphone down the block, which was clutch in keeping in touch with girls on text, phone, facebook, whatsapp, etc.

Prior to the trip, I worked facebook pretty hard to try and find the hottest independent girls which ended up being a mixed bag. Most of the plans I made prior to arriving in Medellin blew up in my face, which left me extremely pissed off and frustrated with the paisas. Each night ended up working out well anyways, but the frustration of scrambling really got to me, to the point where I was swearing I won't come back to this place. My last 2 nights however, are some of the most fun I've ever had, no qualifier.

After touching down and getting settled in with my apartment and other supplies, I headed over to Loutron where I have never been disappointed by the session. This question was already answered a few days ago by one of the owners:

The only way you are going to get into La Cueva is by staying at Hotel Medellin Plaza. Now if Medellin Bob, Big Bad Boyd and or A. G. Want to invite friends / people into the bar, that's there privilege I guess. I know for a fact that A. G. Will not because he doesn't have any friends!

Now having a friend staying at MP does not give you entry rights, you can wait at the front door for your friend.

Now if the hotel is full and people who have stayed with us in the past and have tried to get a room by contacting Aexa, the secretary, then La Cueva and the hotel is more flexible on your entry.

Now La Cueva x 2 is opening the end of July in Barrio Colombia, you guys who don't want to stay at MP, go over there.

There aren't any places within walking distance. You will not be able to walk to places like Lourtron, San Diego Grill, or Fase Dos. All of the casas are downtown (El Centro). The good thing is that all of these places are a short taxi or bus ride (if there is no traffic, that is).

Go to the "Medellin Lists" section of this forum and find the PDF posted by World Travel69 to see what your chica options are. Also look for the google map of the casas Matt Psych created.

Now, if you are talking about "regular girls (non pros)" then can't help you there. I guess Praque Lleras would be a start, but good luck if your Spanish is limited. The ones that do take interest in you I would definitely watch my drink around. Bbrocs can tell you a few horror stories about guys who have hooked up with chicas in Lleras and woke up (after their drug-induced coma) to find their place had been cleaned out (laptop, money, smart phone, etc).

It is a great location, short walk to the parque and lots of good restaurants, on location. 1st class breakfast buffet. I registered for 2 with the name open, no problem with 1 chica, usually nobody stopped me at the elevator when I had a chica. Look at their website, also a great massage there, no happy but that is everywhere else in Medellin.

From what I understand, this is walking distance to restaurants, etc. And in a good neighborhood. But, I don't know, I've never been. Thoughts on this location guys? Can I walk to any of the casas? Streetwalkers nearby? Nightclubs like Mango's close?

It is a great location, short walk to the parque and lots of good restaurants, on location. 1st class breakfast buffet. I registered for 2 with the name open, no problem with 1 chica, usually nobody stopped me at the elevator when I had a chica. Hey Chill Bill, Although I live in Cartagena, I have stayed in Hotel Diez several times while visiting Medellin. It is a nice hotel, great location on 10th street in Poblado. As with most nicer hotels in Colombia, it is not "Chica Friendly". It is however safe and secure and they have a very nice breakfest buffet in the morning.

I have never heard of this hotel, so I cannot say if it is chica friendly or not. Also, where is it located? Poblado? El Centro?

If this is your first time in Medellin, I would highly suggest you double book and find a room at Hotel Medellin Plaza (the Mansion) or Hotel Medellin Plaza 2 (El Castillo) so that you have a gringo-friendly place to fall back to for help navigating. Otherwise you are just going to be sour on your first experience in Medellin if you are in fact in a hotel that is not girl friendly (or charges you a fee for guest) and is not convinently located. As a first timer you are not going to want to do El Centro (Casas) or strip clubs on your own.

The situation only gets worse if you do not speak Spanish at least on an intermediate level.
