Another to / from the airport transport option (in between a taxi and a bus in terms of price, comfort and waiting times) is to take a "colectivo": in effect, a shared white taxi. They also pick-up and drop-off passengers by the San Diego Mall. If I'm not mistaken the 2024 price is 25,000 mil to the airport and 30,000 from.
The last time I used the service from the airport into the city, the driver agreed to take me to my apartment in Laureles from San Diego for an additional 15,000. But yellow cabs and the metro are both nearby.
I did see the colectivo option and since I would not be in any hurry, it is an option. The only thing I was worried about with these shared rides is that I also noticed that the vehicles were not that big and I would have a large backpack plus a carry on luggage which is not an issue with the buses. So maybe if I was first in line for an empty colectivo, it might be workable.

It's fine, and don't be put off by the people who want to help you with your luggage into a taxi. A small tip is all they expect.

Hi, I've been to that mall and you will be fine to wait to be picked up. The downtown area is considered unsafe depending on where you're walking towards. I would just wait in the mall until you know that your ride is there to pick you up.

That's the only transport I use to and from the airport. It used to be 14 k now it's 15,500 cop but still the best option. You can get dropped off and picked up at the metro station exposiciones now too and pay with either your civica card or cash. Even if you have a maleta they will put it in the back for you and it's a very comfortable bus ride.

By the second sentence of any message, any Colombian knows you're not a Colombian. Having a local number or listing your home as Medellin isn't going to make everyone ignore that you don't talk
[Deleted by Admin] I've had my +57 number since 2021 now and while messaging thru WhatsApp they cannot tell that I am not Colombian. When meeting in person I'm pretty sure I can get past the second sentence without them asking where I'm from. Opening sentences using phrases such "Hola Mami" "que mas pues" and "como me LE va".
Usually at some point they will ask me where I'm from but it's not the 2nd sentence out of my mouth. And I always reply "Soy Mexicano" I never say I'm a gringo.

Girls at La Isla
Hey all,
I'm fresh off my visit from Medellin and I'm in horny jail. However, is anyone in contact with any of the girls from la isla?
Thanks.

It is worth noting that the converse of this can also be true, especially with some Venezuelan women they may be 19 20 or even 21 years old but look small and scrawny to where you would think they may look like they are minors especially by US standards.
That is why it always best to ask to see cedula and then to use a hotel that will also verify the cedula as to its authenticity.

Already 4 Americans locked up in the past year for abusing minors in Medellin. Got to be dumb to try that, especially with all the available talent.

Headed to Medellin for the second time solo. First trip was 6/2023.
Anyone in town during that time I'm willing to link up and monger together.
For the first time solo travelers it's not as bad as they say. I will start by saying I'm 6'4 and 230 pounds but that doesn't mean a thing in all reality I'm also black. First trip I hit tons of casas for 3 somes. I banged chicas in El Centro beware of El Centro at night I got caught up out there with the chicas and I didn't realize it became night time. It was impossible to find a Uber or Lyft at that time which was weird because a Uber took me down there around 5 pm. I had to walk and walk and walk til I flagged down a passing cab and yes I was followed leaving el Centro and I knew it I just kept it moving that is food for thought. I want to visit strip clubs in El Centro at night but from my experience it's not good to hang around out there solo. I stayed in the thick of parque lerras last time, my first night I got stuck in el Centro after dark, I wasn't scared but I was aware I was being targeted and got the fuck out of there. By the second and third night I figured it out. Wake up eat hit el centro, hit casas for threesomes then regroup at home base use the site for chicas then hit el poblado if you still have more steam. I had 16 chicas in 4 days in Medellin. Also I went to chicas "apts" at night without any issues at all alot of them stayed in laureles which is why I choose to book an Airbnb in laureles this time. I blew 1 million pesos in El poblado in 1 night two threesomes and 1 chica back to back to back LOL. Also I did this all off of Google translate. Tap in if your in town next weekend I want to hit fase dos and what not. Also I didn't buy drinks while moving around I put tequila in a water bottle and didn't drink anything from any bar the entire trip besides water or Gatorade. I also brought 2 girls twice back to my air BNB and I was not robbed and I brought 1 girl another night and another night. The key to not getting drugged with bringing girls back is this. A soon as the door closes within 1 minutes pull it out and get too it, don't drink with these girls in your hotel don't dance don't small talk fuck them and send them packing.
Good share. What did you do to attract attention and also gave it away that you were being targeted by men or women? I'm half your size and will solo travel in a few months, so in the event I realize I'm being followed need to have an escape plan. Did you pick up any parque lerras women and bring them back to your place or trust them into a short stay hotel? Lastly any BBFS?

My last SA and online dating question if that's even possible is when you come across a Colombian women writing her profile in English instead of her native language, is that a red flag? I was talking to a profile in Medelland that was written in English but I decided to use translation to message her, and a few exchanges of we're both beautiful and she wants dinero from arrangement leads to " Podemos tener sexo" from her. Is this too a red flag?
Because of this interaction with a beautiful woman in that low quality zero filter Colombian photograph, I was also contemplating what it would be like to just ship her here to the states for a week and possibly marry her. These women truly are amazing and I'm catching feelings. Now I know how many of our kind get scoped.
A profile in English is a huge red flag. Her telling you that you can have sex is another red flag.
You can't just ship most of them to the states. A visa is required. Bringing one, if you find one with a visa, will almost certainly be more expensive than going to Colombia and doing the 3 F (find'them, fuck'them and forget'them). However, it's also a lot of fun introducing them to new things. Flannel pajamas, bread and butter pickles, Waffle House, going to the ballpark for a baseball game, Disney World, ice skating, or just sitting in a semi-rural area and watching the ducks and squirrels will put a smile on their face. Of course, there's always a risk that you'll come home to find she bought 6 jars of peanut butter, or finished off the half gallon of gourmet ice cream.
I haven't seen any advantage to actually marrying one.

I am trying to decide between two AirBNB's. Both are roughly the same price and offer the same comforts. The only difference is one is about 1/4 of a mile from Lleras Park and restaurants and shops etc but has no AC. The other is about double the distance from Lleras and doesn't seem to have shops or restaurants or much around it but it has AC. For the sake of this question, I hate being hot. Should I go with the closer one and chance the fact it had no AC or go with the other?
Temperature at night drops down to low 60's. Sunset is about 6 pm. Except for a few hours in the afternoon, on a really hot day, I've rarely felt the need for anything more than a fan. There's usually a decent late afternoon breeze keeping it tolerable. Humidity usually isn't bad, unless you're from a high desert area.
However, some guys can't handle being without air conditioning.
