I get some concept on how I would monger this week and next week.

I've seen some posts mentioning Calle 10 and Parque Llelas for SW.

Where actually do I need to go to find those places? I mean, via uber or something. Tell to driver Vamoes Calle 10 Paqrue / Parque Llejas? Any tips on crowded times /"safer" time, what to avoid and things like that will be much appreciated in advance.

I wish I can send some PM but by the time my paid account gets enabled I am afraid I may be heading back home already as I would stay for 10 days only.

Calle 10 is a very long street that runs the length (or width depending on how you look at it) of Poblado pretty much. And there is Calle 10 and Calle 10 a that run parallel for a while and are both bustling at night and especially on weekends. I would go straight to Parque Lleras if I was going there to monger. Calle 10 is just too long. Easier to spot the SWs in and around the park.

I am a middle aged man closer to 60 than 50 so I can always spot the SWs because they are the only chicas checking me out. Otherwise they do often travel in packs. But so do other groups of girls and they really do not dress much differently either. I think one of the ways I spot them is that a normal group of friends is all involved in conversation with each other where as SWs are ofte alert to what's going on around them and being more alert to find a customer.

The advice I would give is stay out of Gusto unless you want to pay like 5 times what you would pay a chica in the park.

Hey all, so we are going to Medellin end of the month. It's 8 of us for a Bach party. We will be staying 4 nights at Pablo Escobar condo penthouse which we booked via Airbnb and comes with security and chef.

I will get down to the point, we are looking to have fun and have girls over to party with. Where's the best place to get safe and the hottest girls. We have no issue paying but just want to ensure a good time.

It's been awhile since I've visited Medellin. Is the hotel in front of Licoexpress one that I can pay by the hour and allows for girls? Are there any other motels near Parque Lleras?

With the new barriers in place, how much has Parque LLeras slowed down? Are the working girls still in the area?

No barriers for Parque Lleras as of yet. Perhaps it relates to construction on a couple of the streets within the Parque Lleras area. The middle street is still torn up (portion of 37 a within the park area) and word is that the top street remains to be redone (carrera 37). Looks like they are redoing sewer mains on those. Not sure if the construction is related to the plan to make everything within that area pedestrian only, but if so then the construction will be continuing for some time. The little park itself is now completely done, they were pruning trees the other day and almost all the concrete work, walkways, etc. Are done. Say 95% plus.

The cart vendors and their loudspeakers were the worst of the Plaza for me, good riddance. It's nice to have more of the girls inside the barrier. There was still more congestion than previously along the side and behind the church as of yesterday. Does anyone know if Lleras has a barrier? I think I remember it was supposed to be set up on March 31.

I have seen vendors inside for at least a week. Most I think are licensed and wear a vest to indicate so. This has been going on for a long time for street food vendors. Most of them wear an official vest. I did notice the few vendors between the Casino and Zona Rosa didn't wear vest so I don't know what is going on there.

As for bicycle, there are quite a few, most walk their bike into the plaza then starting riding once inside.

It seems the VIVE energy put a stop to the large vendors with cart that carry large amount of the product and sold it at more than 50% discount of what supermarket like Exito and small vendor sell. Haven't seen one around for quite a while.

Do you do a particular search? A particular hashtag or phrase?

Do you friend them or just DM? What are you writing to them in the initial messages?

I was in Parque Lleras and saw a few cuties I would be interested in. But I don't like picking up Street girls and going to love hotels.

I'd rather get their number and arrange to meet them later. Is anyone doing this, approaching girls that are working on the street, getting their numbers and arranging to meet later?

I'd even take them for food or a drink to vet them properly before bringing them back to my Airbnb. This way I get to see their attitude and personality first and can bail if I don't like what I'm seeing.

There must be a reason I never read on this forum about a guy so called vetting a chick beforehand then he calls it off. All the reports I see mention there were no signs of things going to go bad or that she was going to drug and rob me. I do not think this vetting process that some guys say they do does anything except waste time. The vetting tells you nothing about how good she will suck your dick for the next 30 minutes and most people are smart enough to avoid giving off bad vibes in the beginning.

I was in the Plaza today for the first time in nearly a week. I immediately noticed the area inside the barrier continues to get back to how it was pre-barrier. Most of the girls are back along with some of their deadbeat boyfriends. I even saw a couple of guys go flying through the crowd on bicycles. Just like old times. I snapped the photo from the metro as I was leaving. Two workmen who are out of the frame were reinforcing the barrier with metal strapping. A week or so ago I was near the church when one of the barriers went crashing to the ground because the bits connecting them to each other were starting to wear out. Policeman hurried over to stand it up again. Meanwhile, the entrances are pretty much wide open with a couple of police at each of them who are much less attentive than when the checkpoints were first established. I snapped the photo because I was surprised to see a vendor cart inside the barrier for the first time since it was put up.

I am going to guess that because of all the past heavy duty police presence, there have been very few disturbances and that the Police have reduced their forces. I'm kind of divided whether I liked it more pre-barricades when it was more of a "circus / carnival scene" versus a " tourism restricted area". OR maybe something in the middle as you have described. Regardless it's kind of like a moving target how things change, no different than how Parque Lleras was pre-pandemic, versus the shifting of a lot of the workers on to Calle 10 since the Pandemic.

One thing for sure is that there is no consistency at these two SW areas, but it makes you wonder how things would be today in Centro if there had not been a Pandemic. In fact, if there had been no Pandemic there would be a lot less foreign mongers in Colombia. And with Thailand basically back to pre-Covid times, and other Asian countries, I see less mongers here starting later this year, especially from about December this year into March next year.

However, since a lot of mongers, specifically all the SEA guy's who have come and sampled what Colombia has to offer, many won't be going back to SEA.

Finding girls on Facebook takes a little time and effort. First, you need to be a little familiar with Facebook and how it works. Then you need to find a few girls that are actually in Medellin. There are two easy ways to get started. You need to start with one or two known girls in Medellin. If you go through the threads, a few names are mentioned. If you read trip reports on other mongering websites for Southeast Asia, you can pick up a few more names. If you go to the FB profile of known nightclubs and bars in Medellin, you can see the names of a number of girls in Medellin. Make friend requests of those girls and then start looking through the names of their friends if visible or who is commenting on their posts. Once you have a single name of a young attractive girl in Medellin, you can build on that and your friends list starts to grow.

But to do it right, it takes some time. It is not something you can do in a few hours and there is no one place on Facebook where there is a list of girls open to pay for play.
