For the second time in a year, Facebook disabled my "fake" account before I was able to use it. I'm not sure what I could have done differently (other than create it on a different computer with different IP address). I used a fake (but real-sounding) name, newly created email, different birthday and city, and no photos that would identify me. They insisted I supply a face pic for my profile, so I went to one of those sites that have images of people that never existed. All for naught.

What are you guys doing to get past Facebook's security when you create a fake account? Or do you just use your regular account?

I never cared in the past as I preferred to meet them personally, but now I feel challenged to get through this.

I use my regular Facebook page. I don't recommend this for most people, but I have a couple of reasons why it works for me.

1. I'm an open book. Any regular friends and family on my Facebook aren't going to be too surprised if someone points out I'm seeing hookers in Medellin. Most will ask to see some pictures.

2. I'd rather not switch back and forth between accounts.

I do have security set up a bit tighter than normal. It limits the exposure between the two groups of friends. I also don't make a habit of commenting every time a chica puts up a picture. I've set up a friend list that's just the Medellin chicas. Occasionally, if I want to post something just for chicas, I can make it so it's only visible for them.

Talking to these chicas before you are there is not a good ideal. I went to the Mansion right when they were doing the construction a few months back. Everyone seemed confused and didn't know how it was going to pan out. Has anyone been there recently ?
