I always try to give you sound, and sage advice as to how to dress, so you can better blend in El Centro, and I am aware that probably over 90% of the BM's here will never be able to pass as a local. However, you have acknowledged dressing down in El Centro, and my pointers about the plastic water bottles and sunglasses are based on several years of observation. And of course not having anything of value on you goes without saying as you have mentioned.

So I have one last pointer for you as to how to dress in El Centro, in lieu of having a monogramed hanky in your upper right hand pocket, you would be better pressed to carry a little black plastic bag in your left hand while walking around.

I am white but not pale. No Spanish. No branded clothing on me. Wear shorts and shoes 90% of the time. 7-9 times (family-type) locals have approached me asking me for what I assume were directions by the way they were looking and walking around and then immediately asking another person nearby the same question. They were not asking for money or anything of that sort. Each time I was super surprised that they asked me like I knew anything.

Sao Paulo is more expensive than Medellin in general except from sex isn't it?

Yes, it's more expensive in general, but I spent less for the accommodation to be honest. Restaurants are more expensive on average. Obviously there is more choice in Sao Paulo, due to de fact it's the 4th largest city in the world. Transport is mostly the same, but distances are greater, so you end up to spend more. Love hotels are definitely more expensive: 45 reais against 6000-15000 COP. Quality is superior here. In fact, I think, specifically, here it's better for the gringos who wants to enjoy sex at home, in their own apartment. Also here OTR is a possibility. Renting a car is really cheap. If you rent in advance you can find a car for less than $15 a day. And with that, you can go around and do OTR. I didn't, but it's a possibility, if you are brave enough, because it's surely more dangerous than go to "El Centro". I was really tempted because I love OTR, but in the end I didn't. If you do, be sure your insurance cover damages you may do to the car or with the car.

Day 4.

Moved to the one of luxury buildings in Poblado. I won't reveal the name in the open forum, as it could become NOT guest friendly very easy. Booked only 3 nights as I was told by the owner that I can have only 1 guest till 10 PM and have to pay $30 USD for overnight guests. It took me a pack of fancy gum, can of beer and 3 minutes of sweet talk with portero on next day to realize that it was a lie: up to 4 guests at the time and 24/7. Guys, it was mentioned many times here: do yourself a favor, be nice with porteros and clarify all building policies with them. I am fit as well, albeit I dress like the locals, wearing faded jeans and t-shirt, and totally blend in as a local unless I open my mouth and start speaking in Spanglish.

The dead giveways of a gringo / foreigner in El Centro besides being dressed like Blakman in his jogging outfit, is if you have a plastic bottle of water with you, locals are not going to spend 2 K when they can get a plastic bag of water for 500 K.

I also don't wear sunglasses either, as it's another give away that your a foreigner.

Now in your case of dressing like a Sacalero, well I guess the primary giveaway, besides looking like a scarecrow is if you have a small black plastic bag in your hand.

Without that bag in one of your hands, than you wouldn't be a Sacalero, kind of like Santa Claus without a beard.

As you know I have been to Medellin recently and I wrote a long report. It has been a great experience, and I love the place. I think Medellin is awesome, the weather, the people, I'm sure I will return soon or later. But.

I'm currently in Sao Paulo. I have been here for 10 days already. And I just had a 3 some with two amazing girls. And this was, honestly the only 3 some I really enjoined. It was absolutely amazing.

There is a freelancer cafe in Bangkok called Thermae. It usually is packed, standing room only and has far more mongers and girls than Gusto. All girls are the same price for ST at about US $100 now. Once I asked a girl if she knew Toyota and BMW and she said yes. I asked which one would she buy if if both cost the same? She said BMW. I asked then why all girls were charging the same price. The problem in Thermae is because the price is the same so when you thought you were buying a BMW, it did not drive like a BMW because the vanilla sex one would often get from hot girls. A few hot ones will be taken out only a few minutes after they appear or reappear. When you stand in front of them, they often just say 3000 and not much more.
