Not many guys report much about Bello, maybe you can make a more detailed report about it for us, are you able to blend in like a local? Did you always feel like there was not going to be any trouble? I have seen some Youtube videos of an area in Bello near Madera Station looks like it is called San Jose or La Florida on Google maps and that area where the guy was partying was crawling with gorgeous babes, it actually put Lleras Park to shame in that area, but of course very much a local vibe and not sure if any were pros who would go home with a Gringo. The guy that made the videos was dark haired and fairly dark complexion so he probably blended in okay at a glance.

This is excellent what you have posted, and really catches what El Centro is like in the daytime, and a good "primer" for those thinking of visiting. However the only downside, and this in no way is a reflection on you, but El Centro is becoming more and more of a mongering destination in the World. And the truth of the matter is that it is probably the most accessible and open mongering venue currently open in the World, with the Asian venues being basically shuddered as will all muddle thru the Pandemic.

The problem before was that the whole world was almost closed off and there was nowhere to monger, now as a handful of mongering destinations open up the problem is that, at least in parts of Europe we are almost closed off from outbound travel. I can't speak for every country in Europe but at least where I am and in the UK non essential travel is not allowed.

As far as I am aware they cannot physically stop you from leaving but harsh penalties await you upon your return, a fine of up 2000 euros and up to 10 years in jail, yes 10 years in jail although I highly doubt that would actually happen but at this point they are not messing around and I have heard of numerous people being stopped by the police just before getting to the airport, fined and told to return home.

As well as that KLM one of the few airlines going to Colombia transit through Amsterdam where 2 tests are required, even just for a 1 hour layover. A 72 hour test and a rapid test 4 hours before. If you return to the UK from a red list country which Colombia is on, the there is mandatory hotel quarantine costing 1750 pounds, others are also pushing this through now.

Thats why I'm booking a one way ticket and staying for a few months because anything less is just not worth the headache.

So I don't think you have to worry about El Centro becoming a more accessible mongering destination any time soon because only the very determined will make it from Europe and from that small trickle only an even smaller amount will be brave enough to monger in El Centro.

My thoughts exactly. Walked Raudal a few times and saw a couple of real hotties. However it feels a bit more Wild West than Centro as there is not many regular folk there and there are a few warnings about hanging out in Raudal. Also never seen any reports here on mongers picking up in Raudal so I'm not sure if I'm ready for that yet, have any of you guys picked up in Raudal?.

I have a few times but they wanted double or more the VeraCruz rate which I didn't mind as they were hotter IMO.

You get tired of that neighborhood or the city. When you try to sell they know you are in a rush because you are foreigner so they keep offers from you or low ball you.

Your new neighbor moves in with loud kids, dogs, stereos. What are you going to do about it? Nothing you can do!

If condo or apartment that are connected and you have a filthy neighbor you now have ants and cockroaches.

New management, employee, or the front desk just simply does not like you so they deny entry to many of your guests.

The answer is rent and just move out.

$67 k usd for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom in Sabaneta, it's the cheapest apartment on the site and I'm pretty sure that's a website with gringo pricing + the complex includes a gym, pool, basketball court and playground for children. You probably could get apartments for $40-60 k usd if you got quoted the same rates as the locals. Latin America along with Asia has some of the best housing prices in the world.

Just got back to the good ol' US of A after a 3 month stay in mostly Medellin, but also ventured out to Bucaramanga and Cali. It was the longest stay I've ever had (previous was about 2 months) and it seemed I was living there, and not just visiting, which was very refreshing. I stayed all over Medelland, but enjoyed particularly Niquia in Bello. No gringos, lots of hot pros and non pros around, many bars / restaurants, and prices overall are cheap. I've been going to Medellin 2-3 times a year for the past 8 years. Just recently turned 40 and I'm seriously looking to buy an apt here even though I'm not ready to retire yet. Just wondering if anyone here has experience of buying property in Colombia? I would pay all upfront (looking at $60-80 k USD budget). I plan to do lots of research on the matter, but wanted some general advice if any is available.

The CDC has stated a required quarantine for a incoming air passengers entering the US. What was your requirement and what was you told upon entering the US. Your answer can be helpful.

If you are not living there. What the point to buy? Airbnb are cheap in Colombia and if something goes wrong you can always move to another city.

Yeah as usual Raudal has less chicks but more hot ones but has a scarier vibe due to all the dudes hanging out and less people going about their business.

Also while I'm here. I went to Maryorista while there was curfew in Laureles but none in Mayorista. Very small strip with a few bars. Real local feel with only 2 at most doable girls hanging around. Not worth the trip to be honest.

At Davienda. The Customer service dude was nice enough but he obviously did not know the system because we went through a 30 minute process and then at the end he told me I needed a cedula (government ID). Getting a cedula is an entirely different process that is not available to foreigners on a tourist visa so I won't go into that now. I also tried to add my name to my novia's bank account and that was also not allowed. Ostee out.
