But I fucked up on the visa. I try not to sugar coat or hide my mistakes because really that's where we learn the most from ourselves and each other. I thought the the tourist visa clock automatically reset on January 1. Boy, did I get that wrong. Since I was already on my last nine days of my second 90-day tourist visa extension for 2021, I have to LEAVE the country again before those nine days expire, and then return in 2022 to restart the 180 days on the tourist visa. Doh! I am retired and have the resources so it's not a disaster but yeah I feel stupid. Can't blame it on drugs this time, been straight for months.

MCO is always a nightmare, especially at holiday time and summer vacation. First time travelers, strollers, Micky Ears. It take take 10 minutes for 1 family to navigate security. Always avoid connecting in MCO at these times. Now that your in pussy heaven, just enjoy!

Pesquiera, Rocoto, Mistura, Piqueo (the last three are Peruvian), all the higher end places like El Botanico, oci. Mde, and Carmen have a couple of well prepared seafood dishes on their menus. His early reports rang true to me. I spent several months in Parque Lleras every night and saw the party guys throwing money and living it up like there was no tomorrow. I even had the experience of falling in with one of them one night. Great guy and a helluva party, but I automatically went into mother hen mode. When I'm with people who are partying hard, I keep an eye on everyone to make sure they don't get into trouble. Everyone survived but the guy ran up a helluva bar bill.

Really you should just read back in this forum for as far back as you can. Most info from 2019 for example about Facebook is still relevant, and Facebook requires you start preparing now BTW.

Location mostly only matters if you want to be walking distance to picking up Park Walkers in Parque Lleras. Anything else you'll need to use Uber or taxis, so location matters much less. Places you'll taxi to: casas, strip clubs. Places you'll likely pay to taxi in chicks: Facebook, Seeking.

I agree wholeheartedly. Do some research. Plenty of options in Medellin depending on what you're looking for.

But just wanted to point out that Medellin is not Pattaya. I've been to Pattaya twice (latest in Feb. 2020 just before Covid). Chicas in Medellin for the most part (98-99%) don't speak any English, whereas most go-go and beer bar girls in Pattaya can speak and understand it very well. Medellin is also far larger than Pattaya, like 10 x the population and more spread out (Poblado, Laureles, Centro are the main areas). Medellin also isn't as organized as Pattaya. There's a few strip clubs, casas, el Centro and massage parlors, but nothing like the go-gos and beer bar complexes near Walking Street which are more newbie-friendly. That being said. I like the Medellin paisas better than the Pattaya bar girl scene and have generally found performance to be better than Pattaya.

Pick up some basic Spanish and read through the last few months or reports. That should answer 90% of your questions.
