Do I need a covid test to enter Colombia.

The Colombian travel site said no test if you have the vaccines.

I have 2 from AstraZeneca.

One from Pfizer.

As I want to leave Canada on the 5th of January.

Just to be clear, I think you said it but it wasn't clear. You need to follow the steps that I laid out in the post that I directed you to and be able to domonstrate to the airline and to immigration when you arrive that you are fully vaccinated (booster not required) but if you are returning to the United States you will need test results from a test taken within one day of departing Colombia back to the USA. For this it is recommended that you get the Antigen test because they are quicker PCR test takes much longer. Unless they have changed.

Getting good seafood in Medellin is problematic to say the least, and is actually more a function of how fresh the fish is versus the eating establishment. There's a seafood place in Manila that has been there for fifty years, I forget the name, and the supposed fresh fish didn't taste all that fresh on the occasions I ate there.

I had some great Sierra at Sambombi's a few weeks back, and it's not a seafood place, and some great Tuna at a place in Laureles early this year which was a French place.

So good luck on this, just another dining challenge in Medellin.

Hi everyone, at the risk of being labeled "just another rookie" and being ignored, I still wanted to give this a shot.

I have never been to Colombia (do not speak spanish) but I do have some general mongering experience. Been to a couple clinicas in SP and Rio, been to Kiev for mongering once, was in Dominican Republic a couple months ago (which was very underwhelming) and in Pattaya more than I can count.

I want to give Colombia and specifically Medellin a shot. Will be flying there for 2 or 3 weeks max roughly. Purpose is 99% mongering. With Pattaya out of the picture for 2 years I really just want to bang a ton of pretty and young girls that's it.

Now to my question:

Is it "complicated" or "inconvenient" to do this in Medellin? Should I be focusing on a specific area of the city for airbnb or hotel and be close to the action? How safe is it? My focus specifically are younger chicas (18-24) not interested in anything older.

I would appreciate any feedback that would help me get my bearings in Colombia.

I think the posts did start a trend for sure with all the drugs, IE. Tussi that guys were using. But something was still off about all of it, especially how he was going to get back into the Country when it was shutdown, how he would cross on foot into the Country from Venezuela and / or bribe immigration officials if necessary, even at an airport.

His last posts seemed to become more and more illogical, absurd, and just hard to believe.

Perhaps he was in Medellin, yet fabricated and made up posts or portions of post. So hence everything sounds believable, meaning he was here, confirming your thoughts, yet some things were just off.

Maybe some other board members have a take on all this. I know JBee2 might have some theories on this.

One thought I had about him is the possibility that SJobs was an alter-ego for some other poster here, a nom de plume, so some "never overpay, avoid gringo spots" member could admit the truth about his activities without spoiling the reputation of his main account. When his reports became too popular, he decided to disappear.

His early reports rang true to me. I spent several months in Parque Lleras every night and saw the party guys throwing money and living it up like there was no tomorrow. I even had the experience of falling in with one of them one night. Great guy and a helluva party, but I automatically went into mother hen mode. When I'm with people who are partying hard, I keep an eye on everyone to make sure they don't get into trouble. Everyone survived but the guy ran up a helluva bar bill.

However, his last reports, during the lockdown were getting pretty crazy. When people live every night in party mode, it often ends badly. It's likely we'll never know.

I rarely eat any seafood in Medellin. I'm from the coast of Florida, so I don't bother. Years ago I went to Donde Bupos and it was pretty good. Keep in mind, just like most chicas in Medellin can't different between good and bad licor, they also probably don't know much about comida del Mar. Either.

Since 2006 I've flown w / Spirit from SC to FLL to Medellin. Never any real issues the 12 times I used them.

Now there are no good flights. Horrible times, layovers for many hours. Anyone here know of any other good suggestions on flights to the City of Eternal Spring?

Well if SC means southern California there are many choices I have used. American Air thru Miami, Copa Air thru Panama City, Panama, if you can handle 2 stops, United thru Houston & then Panama City. I have found decent connections with decent prices always by doing a little shopping. In today environment, certainly, a little tough to find the sweet spot.

LOL so this is my 3 third time going to Medellin within a matter of 8 months. So I guess you can say I am an expert but I feel like I still have not absorbed all that Medellin has to offer. A little about me I am a mid 20's AA male with no Spanish abilities (trust me I have been trying to learn but life has been soo busy). But enough ranting, I need some solid advice right now, I am staying in Medellin for 7 days (first week of Jan) longer than the last couple of times. I have been liking the fb scene but I want to try sometime new sense. What is the best way to hit up El Centro (ground zero), I feel like I can't get my stamp of approval without experiencing El Centro. I have noticed lot of people say memorize a couple of phrases beforehand, or use an index card with sentences written on there (looks kind of dumb). So the question is if you were a 20 something AA male with no Spanish how would you approach going to El Centro. I mean I wouldn't be afraid to pull out my phone but me not knowing Spanish really hinders if anything happens and if I have to talk to the policia or get a taxi back to my hotel. I read some post where more experienced mongers tag along, but LOL I'm not sure if any of y'all want to babysit me. I don't mind sticking to FB if it's not worth the hassle.

I think he has something original. Drugs, places and even girl he posted are hard to make up details based on past posts like that. I think he even started a trend.

Look up his post about a beautiful FB 19 yr old girl. Another frequent poster dated the same girl based on that link after. How many posters have you seen post any FB link of the same quality? Yes, there were a few but they are older so already well known. I think I mentioned the after hour club at La Isla without naming the club name, then he visited and came back with the name. There are things that I am familiar with that I don't agree but those are subjective and I just chalk it up as exaggeration.

He was real, the only question is whether he had actually ever been to Medellin.

I suspect he had never been here, as there were always some things a little bit off as to how things actually are here which I and other members picked up on.

Almost as though somebody had read and studied other members posts, and than created posts based on what was garnered from other members actual experiences.

He was a very good fiction writer in my opinion.

If you can get to MIA or Orlando fairly easily VIVA flies direct to Medellin. Seems a decent price and decent times- I have only used them twice but no complaints.
