I'm looking at an Airbnb in Laureles. Really nice apartment condo. Has 24 hour security. Great reviews. Has AC and all the amenities that I need. But it says, "No Sex tourism". I still did try to ask the host, if it's "guest friendly' or if visitors is allowed.

He said 'Yes', visitors are allowed. As long as they register in the reception with valid ID. Rules must be complied such as, Parties are not allowed and Loud music is not allowed because it is a residential building. So does it mean it is Chica friendly? As long they are dressed normal and obviously not looking like a prepago.

My guess is if you limit it to two short term guests or one long term guest per day, it will be okay. The problem with some of those buildings is that other residents complain. If anyone complains, tell the owner your guests are friends visiting you.

Speaking of weapons, I was planning on bringing down a pocket knife that has a blade about 2 in to carry around with me. What are the laws and how likely am I to be checked? I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it just in case.

Depends on what sort of things you want around you. Other parts of Poblado are great and Laureles area is fine too.

I think you will be OK. Don't be surprised if some of your dates show up without acceptable ID. In those situations you can use one of the many motels or love hotels nearby. I recommend you plot directions to a couple of them from the airbnb on one of the mapping apps. You might also get flak for multiple dates per day. Hopefully it doesn't happen but if it does that will be another reason to have the motel option available. You other option is of course find a different airbnb. There are many.

I guess the crazy part is I've walked past that area hundreds of times and even eaten there a few times. Seems like such a peaceful and pleasant setting.

Why would they not? I carry everyday when I am in the USA and have one for each day of the month.

As someone that has a bad ass revolver for home protection, I can't imagine carrying everyday or one day for that matter. What do you think is going to happen. Waiting for some mass shooter to come in Walmart.

I've only looked around Lleras Park due to high volume of ladies but is there another neighborhood / area you all recommend to stay in? Looking to maximize time and see as many ladies as possible with the intent to take some back to my hotel / Airbnb. Wasn't sure if there was another area or two I should look in besides around Lleras Park.

Depends on what sort of things you want around you. Other parts of Poblado are great and Laureles area is fine too.
