But 50% more is 50% more regardless of baselines. Um 3 vs 2? Does that help? Anyway MDE appears to have a higher homicide rate by all sources.

I disagree. I think tourists tend to compare where they can spend their money amongst different locations to vacation. All things being equal, a guy might be deciding between Medellin and Sosua, for example. If they feel like Sosua is safer, they might pick Sosua, regardless if they come from the Projects on the South Side of Chicago. If a tourist was considering a trip to Ukraine, now might not be a good time, regardless of where you live in the states. People travel to places like Cuba all the time and know it is more restrictive than where they come from, but they compare Cuba to other destinations, not where they come from.

The simple answer to the question of how dangerous Medellin is "it depends. " It depends on the individual and what that individual does and how that individual moves. Enjoy the Philippines.

I think people who are coming to Medellin as tourists are really asking "How dangerous is Medellin compared to where I live?" If you are coming from a nice neighborhood in the US or Europe the answer is "definitely more dangerous" however no one really knows how much more dangerous. You should take a lot of precautions which you do not need to take at home. Even then if you happen to have bad luck and be at the wrong time and wrong place, something bad can happen and back home that's much less likely.

Going from Colombian women to Filipinas is going to be a huge letdown for you. The language proficiency was overrated.

I have seen youtube videos, by filipinas, who explain that most filipinas are only interested in vaginal intercourse with the lights off but they prefer no condom, which for me is a big plus.

I am more attracted to Latinas on the average. On the other hand I am not attracted to psychopaths pointing guns at me. I don't even like being pickpocketed, which did actually happen to me in Medellin.

I agree about the language. I think it is better to speak English to a Colombian person and know they do not understand what the hell you are saying, than to speak English to a Filipino person and they agree to what you are saying, but later you find out they did not know what the hell you were saying.

Colombians are also smarter that Filipinos. I like to tell the story about when I was at a resort in the Philippines. Me and my girl were in the pool and the worker came around to take dinner orders. I looked at the menu and did not fell like much so I asked for a grilled cheese. She said sorry sir, we do not have grilled cheese; we only have grilled ham and cheese.

Also, maybe he likes his women shaped like wooden planks. If that is the case then he will be in hog heaven.

I've been to OM Spa several times and always had a good experience. I've always gone for the sensual massage and happy ending. I got phone number of one of the therapists and next trip took her to dinner and engaged in sexy time in Airbnb apartment.

I echo TXP's sentiments below. I'm not interested in music or clubs or drinking or nightlife. This is where all the questions I've asked have pointed at as well in terms of wanting to maximize my time with the ladies. I'm only in Medellin for two days (sandwiched between 3 days in Bogota). In Colombia for a total of 5 days and I'd like to experience a minimum of 3 women per day. That might seem lofty but as the old saying goes, "I ain't here for a long time, I'm here for a good time."

That being the case, I've compiled a list of places (with a few notes) to visit based off research and suggestions from this excellent message group / you fine folks:

For what it's worth, I'm not sure you can count on FS in these places. Been to OM several times and I think each girl is a freelancer. I've never had FS offered. Since I'm usually more interested in a BJ, it doesn't hurt my feelings. LOL But as has been said, their extras prices are really high. One girl asked for 300 k for a HJ. I remember that time slot thing from years ago. After a session as I was getting dressed a girl told I had to wait for her to shower before I could leave. Medelland's homicide rate is about 50% higher according to one source I looked at. A couple of others, the difference wasn't as much but MDE's rate was higher everywhere I looked. I've been to both and had issues in MDE and no issues in BOG, but of course that is a random sample of one.

Honestly, I just don't know and I doubt that anyone else does. There are so many different opinions online from seemingly sincere people.

This fellow declares that he spent a year traveling through 26 countries and the one place he will NOT visit again is Medellin.

According to him, there were three serious incidents recently however they were unique exceptions and besides them, crime isn't a big problem..
