Posts: 4026The Global Entry rules condition membership on maintaining full compliance with immigration and customs regulations. This includes counterfeit goods like watches and handbags that some guys like to bring providers. Other things that can get your Global Entry revoked are flouting tobacco and liquor quantity rules or providing inconsistent information to customs and border patrol personnel.

When I go to CTG from MDE I leave Pobaldo at 11:30 AM, have a flight at 2:00 PM as an example, and am in my Hotel checking in by no later than 3;30 PM. Four hours elapsed time and yes more expensive than the bus.
And I have taken all day bus trips within the Country, and invariably there are delays due to construction, weather, etc.
So very simply put, and if you can afford it, don't mess with buses unless a short trip to Santa Fe or the Penol.
Anything longer, and you will regret it, unless you like driving which I personally don't.

In response to being searched, it was the first time ever and when I looked back, I noticed that there were 3 other black males that looked very similar to me. Same hair style same build in body. The entire event was very strange, but I had nothing to hide and didn't resist their request at all. So many events occur in Medellin and you would have to be there to see the events. I easily recognized that many of the airline stewardesses in the stores around Colombia, so don't think they just work the Airlines and go home and disappear. Who knows what could have been said to someone somewhere in Colombia about the wrong activities and boom, we go to the airport and they are searching everyone who looks like Mr. X. Just a scenario.
On to another topic, clearly there are 2 kinds of Mongers in this group, those who once had their way, based on ethnicity, and the rest of us who know the world as it is today. In Colombia, race means nothing, absolutely nothing. So knowing your American rights in Colombia probably does you as much good as a bald headed man in a hair contest. But from many of the posts, clearly many of you feel as though you have a right to contest what these airlines and federal agents ask for and what they request, but clearly many of us know better.
There is absolutely no reason to contest a request from a federal / international / airline staff member unless somewhere along your life one of you have gotten away with an infraction by contesting it in the USA and it worked. Unfortunately for some of us, we have never gotten away with anything and have the slightest desire to every be around the police, feds, CIA, or Colombian authorities. If these people ask you to open your laptop, or unlock your phone, you are going to do just as I did, comply or sit your high and mighty a $$ in a back office somewhere and miss your flight.
The number one reason I provided the information about the search was because it was strange that it occurred and in the past 4 years this is the first time I ever had anyone ask me to unlock my phone and laptop. I for one can tell you, I had a valid PCR covid test in hand and it did not meet the standard of what the Colombian Government was looking for so guess what? I had to go to the first floor and obtain a Antigen test, which took about an hour, therefore I missed my flight as I was not allowed to board until I had proof of a negative covid test that met the Colombian government's standard.
There are far too many options to get photos and video out of Colombia than to be a fool and allow them to catch you red handed with the photos and videos on your personal phone. Who knows, it is someone in this group who is a International Nudity Lawyer who knows all of the international laws of taking photos through the Colombian airport. Me on the other hand, I am not an international Nudity Lawyer and do not want to chance being caught with anything on my phone or laptop that I shouldn't have. To all of you privileged mongers, suck it up buttercup and continue to stay safe. Pollo Negro is Out!

Is it worth it? You're talking about an 8-10 hour drive, not including stops. Actually probably a minimum of 10 hours because I was driving like a wild man at times.
If someone is paying you $30 per hour or more to ride the bus, it might be worth it, although I would hold out for more.

I Just came back from El centro.

Took a small one with died Red hair.
She reminded me of a Filipina because she was so small.
Paid 30 k + 20 k for BBBJ. During the Session I Upgraded to BBFS for additional 20 k, because as expected I could not finish with condom.
So 70 k for full BBBFS and 7 k for the room. I hope this was not too much.
Tomorrow I will come again for a next chica.

What's obnoxious is this guy (I don't think he's even been to Colombia) ignores sensible advice and keeps acting like foreign police / security must respect his "rights. ".
The best advice of course is don't have anything possibly incriminating or illegal on your possession (including your devices).

The time I was taken to the back it had nothing to do with that. I was actually in the front of the airport just hanging around waiting to check in or something and the guy came up to me and told me to come to the back room for a random search. You guys are acting like someone telling a passenger to unlock their phone is an everyday occurrence when it is not. Next up: what to do and not do when you get a snake bite in Botero Park.

Idk if anyone has tried to go to casa Cuba lately, as the location on the map hasnt updated. So you see casa Cuba. On carr 47 calle 59. It moved.
So keep walking down calle 59 towards carr 48, take a left downhill on carr 48.
Carr 48 -58-64-- to the right of this building is a giant parking garage thing. Can't miss it walk in and go past the security, you will see an outdoor staircase to your left. Walk up, that is the new casa Cuba.
Simply the best, the best. Sebastian the bro who runs the place knows how to pick his girls. Always BBBJ and ymmv on DFK.
I've yet to see a gringo here but I've exhausted my presence at this casa LMAO so it's all yours.

Posts: 1643Random gratuitous fotos from my last trip
Having a good time here in the USA but my life in Medellin is better. Everyday I think about returning. I will return to MDE in 2021 which I'm sure will spill over into 2022. I am in Folly Beach, South Carolina at The Tides hotel now and drive back to my house in my classic Z with my ex-wife later this morning. She will return to Pennsylvania on Monday and then I will start working on my immigration Visa for Colombia.
I enjoyed seeing my ex-wife and we travel well together and are great friends but it was also a great reminder of why I do not want to return to my former life, ever.
I have a wonderful lifestyle here in the United States, There are plenty of available females, but everything is easier, more fun, less expensive, less hassle, and more enjoyable for me in Medellin.
The main reason I don't just chuck everything and stay in Medellin fulltime is because my house and vehicles are paid for, and I have a couple of small business interests that I like to keep tabs on. I'm not quite ready to liquidate yet.
Plus, I have this crazy idea of bringing a few, or several, or a constantly stream of Colombian chicas back here for short-term visits and unlimited sex while showing them around the states.
A couple of guys from the board here have told me that's difficult to do. But I'm one of those types who never believes that it can't be done until I try it myself, and frankly I've already done several things quite happily in MDE that I was told couldn't be done, so full steam ahead and damn the torpedoes, as usual.
I have an immigration attorney here in South Carolina who is from Bogota and he acts like it's not going to be a big deal to bring some chicas over but of course that remains to be seen. I will let the board here know how that pans out.
For starters, any Colombian who visits the United States needs a Visa.
Ostee Out.
