If you manage to get to Centro on Sunday / Tomorrow I would appreciate an update on the situation there. Remember some of the biggest protests so far are scheduled for today and either protests or unrest could spill over into Sunday so be very careful out there.

Will do, I can pass as a Colombian, at least that is what I have been told by other Colombians, so if I go out, at least I won't have a target on my back.

I have no intention of getting mixed in with any protesters, I did once get mixed in with a protest in Bogota a few years back, and it was a bit surreal in that there were lots of police who kind of walked alongside the protesters. If I'm out and notice / witness any unrest or violence, I'll put my tail between my legs and scurry away.

I had been hoping that the "protest madness" in Colombia would of simmered over by now, and pulled the plug to return, yet maybe I'm going to be showing up for the perfect storm.

Oh well, I'm stuck now, and am checked in at the Airport in Puerto Vallarta waiting for my flights to return late Saturday night. Hopefully the roads won't be shut down into town.

Hopefully things will be fine on Sunday, I'm sure some of my street urchins will be out, LOL.

Without going into details, call it dollar cost averaging because when I am spending more in one area, I am saving it in others including with girls. With that said, listen to what Tall Man wrote you. No need to go to Venezuela. Plenty of desperate Venezolanas are working in Colombia, including in the border town of Cucuta.

One of the most dangerous sections of El Centro, and all of Medellin is the Venezuelan neighborhood that starts a few blocks behind the Nutibara hotel. I used to walk from Hotel Botero, thru the heart of this neighborhood a lot to see two of my repeat Vennie girls who lived in Hotel Bolivar. I would walk at night, wearing my Adidas track suit and shoes, and my shoulder bag or "man-purse", otherwise known as the uniform for, "Come and roll me and take my money. " Lucky? I'd rather be lucky than good, but what really happened was I was seen walking in the neighborhood with my girls, inquiries were made by the locals and they put the word out to not bother me. Of course there is always the risk someone did not get the memo, but it is a very tight knit community. That is one example of the value of building relationships with girls you can trust, especially if you are going to be there long term or plan on repeat visits. Oh, another way I know I trust these girls? Not only would I have been robbed or worse on the street without their blessing, they told me they were offered money to supply my hotel room number so their gang could come do an invasion robbery. Needless to say, that never happened.

The same Venezuelan area is also a hotbed for trannies, and they are a hoot. I befriended the ones on the sidewalk and that was another level of protection. There are not many people more dangerous than a pissed off trannie, and some of them are huge and very muscular. BTW, for the first time since the start of the Venezuelan refugee crisis, those girls and others are telling me that some Venezuelans are returning to their country, because of the Covid crisis and the state of the economy in Colombia.

I am looking for a pic of the 2 Vennie chicas I mentioned above, Flame and Veronica, and me at Guatape. Half of my Top Ten Chicas are Vennies, for a reason. I don't think it's cool to cast aspersions about where I choose to live, but Colombianas are awesome, yet Vennies are better still. Albeit this is the worst day of the week to be looking for Chicas there, I've actually had some good experiences so if it looks bleak after taking a few laps when I arrive, I have a few Cento regulars who I can call who will come meet me for a pay day.

I'm still perplexed about the Chicas not willing to give you a BBBJ. I'm not sure if it's really about being lazy or wanting to make money, as they wouldn't be there unless it was to make money, so they may just be concerned about catching an STD. What makes you think that Socialism is coming to Colombia. And what on God's green earth makes you think that even if it did that it would stifle the P4 P scene?

I don't think you have any idea. But I would love to know what your reasoning is to support your view. Afterall I didn't exactly shine in my Political Science classes decades ago.

There are protests in most if not all countries but history has shown that whenever there are protests of the magnitude of what are occuring in Colombia, the existing government is overthrown and is replaced by a socialist one. Check the Soviet Union, China, Cuba and Venezuela. When the Bolsheviks took over the Soviet Union p4p there became non existent, after many decades it started coming back but is currently suppressed. Same with China but the current suppression there is much stronger than Russia. Same with Cuba. Regarding Venezuela prior to Hugo Chavez taking over the leadership mongering in Venezuela was as good as, if not better, than Colombia; I know for sure, I visited then. After Hugo Chavez took over prostitution there has taken a huge nose dive. I was there in 2007. No tourists go there to monger, as a matter of fact no tourists go there.

I get you as there was a time in my life when I was an big heart'ed generous loving and giving person, always sharing to those less fortunate but learned the culture here in Colombia which after decades of hard lessons (and some expensive) has completely changed my attitude.

Frankly there are literally millions of Colombians in the same situation if not worse.

Anymore the only way I 'would throw a few bucks her way' is "si-lo mama", meaning 'sure so suck my dick' and anything else and your getting taken for a ride. There is no respect to kind heart'ed people here, this is the culture, I am keeping it real here.

Just a bit of advice to help open your eyes. You don't have to take heed as I sound like a jack ass but I am just talking frankly. Ten years ago I would never have believed I would even hint at this but I have learned the culture.

Happy to address your concerns. I went there yesterday at around 2. 30 ish in the PM. From my experience I also used to think that women in dire straits would also equate to anything goes but its just not always the case. Yesterday I asked around 4-5 girls and they said no, now I could have pushed and made an offer for BBBJ but I didn't as I was just scouting around there was nothing that I felt I absolutely wanted to take.
