Might sound weird to some, but a few years back I was cruising around El Centro with a friend from South Korea, an American though, and he got lot's and lot's of attention, as most Colombians have never seen an "Asian" in real life, and the girls were all over him. So you top this off with him being a fluent Spanish, and he's in like flint. I was jealous when I was with my friend as he got all the attention, albeit I'm ugly!

Posts: 5402 pages of about buying property. No girls mentioned. Sad.
Rice.
With a little research you would have posted this in the buying property in Colombia thread and started reading there. I did. Post #314 dated 10-4-20 by NoCal2014. Just maybe you should contact him. Maybe you could start by renting from him.
New home purchase.
Fellas I am in escrow for a 3 bd apartment 19th floor overlooking the pool. It is in Bello at the new mall they are building out there. My plan is to rent it out as best as I can if it's vacant when I get there it will be my hotel room while I visit Medellin. I'm paying $75 k USD / line of credit / cash. I will put 30%down over 24 months and pay half cash half line of credit for the rest. Early 40's is citizen plan to retire in Colombia. My next apartment will be in Envigado or Poblado feel free to ask any questions.

In addition, there are numerous hate crimes against Chinese / Asians due to Covid.
Why buy? - it may be more prudent to sign month to month leases.

Posts: 207I am a 45 year old guy on my 4th trip to Medellin. I have pondered about making this my first trip to Bogota, finally decided to go the familiar stomping grounds of Medellin. I do not speak Spanish.
Travel.
Entry was interesting. The PCR test was looked over at multiple points in my journey. Did not fill out the migration form and was asked to fill it out at check in. The flight to Medellin was about three fourth's full. Wait at the immigration line was close to an hour.
Hotel.
Took the taxi and paid 80 mil for trip to Laureles. Saint* Peter in Laureles has gone down hill. They are charging 45 a night not doing a good job of upkeeping the apartments. Check was not smooth with some 'not needed' hassle. There was a spa (casa) nearby within 2 blocks called Aisha and is this little gem I enjoyed in multiple trips to Medellin. They have 5-9 girls are are reasonably priced although more than typical centro casa. It was closed, I am not sure if this is permanent. Very disappointed since I have a history with that spa. On one of my previous trips I had a girl from this spa visit my hotel. She also became my GFE provider. I also took her on couple of day trips around the city. She is now in south of the country farming cows!
Need to check out eros and see if there are other spas nearby in Laureles.
Casas and Centro.
I made a casa run yesterday. Saw line up at New life and did not partake but paid the viewing fee. Massages Aiffie had 5 girls and I picked a flaca. Service was disappointing but I did pump and dump. I made multiple walk around for escorts professionals (chicas biliss) based on the map updated by world traveler. I was not able to find it. Then went to sexy amigas and picked Salome. A chubby girl, she is always ready with an enticing smile and top notch sucking ability. I must have had 6-8 sessions with her in the last 3 years. Her service is exemplary for casa girls. She needs to teach her skills all the casa girls in Medellin. The one casa next to sexy amigas was also closed.
There was an excellent restaurant next to new life that had surprisingly great food but it was either permanently closed or not open on weekends.
I walked to Park Botero, saw a few SW. I have asked a girl her price and she said it was 30 K. Did not go with her due being unfamiliar with short time motels around the park. Some police presence. There are certainly hungry dudes following you with their eyes but I do have an advantage of blending in due to my skin color.
Bar Macaraibo was closed. Barra Ejecutiva was open and a beer costs 15 mil pesos and there were only 2 chicks looking too bored. Waste of time. I walked to Nutibara and had lunch there. Food was just okay.
Conejitas was cracking, a good number of girls but a ton of Colombian dudes in early twenties. One or two girls look good for a session. Had a few beers and sat down for an hour. The girl I was eyeing was too busy with other dudes. It was getting dark and I took a taxi back to Laureles.
Fayebook.
The usual, chicks flake a lot. Pricing is up in 6's and 7's, The ones I paid 150 mil are now asking 200. I scheduled 5 girls yesterday to show up starting at 9 AM and spread out the day. The first one showed up and said she lost her ID. Saint P will not let her in. Another girl from Robledo did not bring her ID. For both I put them in a taxi and gave them 50 mil pesos for showing up.
The three that showed up (200 mil each) - a 6 from Bello, a little chubby with cute face. Stayed an hour. A 7 flaca showed up in the evening and performed well. She stayed for a hour and half.
Another stopped by around 10 PM. Been with her before, she has grown more desperate for money. More preoccupied with other things in her life and was just an okay session.
Messaged a few skokka and mileroticos ads, One gave me an address that was next to hotel La Dorado. It looked like a converted hotel with SW on multiple floors. Did a session with a Venezuelan girl. Saw 5 chicas, mostly 5's and 6's.
One senior BM set me up with a flaca Venezualana she is average looking but her performance is top notch. She charges 250 mil pesos but will stay for couple of hours. Thank you PN.
Met up with another BM staying in Poblado and went to Luna. He showed me his FB list, they are mostly 8 and 9. Do not know what he is paying for them.
Luna.
Went to Luna around 10 pm on Friday. About 8 girls in Luna, mostly implants. No one was dancing. Sat for a few minutes and split.
If anyone on ground wants meet up, PM me. I am available this week.

Posts: 414Places to stay in Bello
I too am interested in buying something but with the pandemic and work, I have not been able to return since February 2020. My plan is to work remotely from Medellin for a few months a year. I am waiting for my turn to get the vaccine and right after fly down for a month. I will stay at an Arbnb in Laureles but plan to visit and stay in other areas including Bello. I know plenty of girls that live there but I don't want to go with any of them. Can anyone recommend places in Bello? Girl friendly of course but would like to see the apts that are not as well. I don't plan to work and play in the same place in the future. Thanks.

Posts: 309I was def not insulted by any means. I always enjoy reading your posts and points of view regarding Medellin. I rarely read or post on this board much, but since being back recently from a 3 month stay in MDE I had time to reflect on life choices haha. I thought I would do this move 10 years down the road, but why wait til then shit. Who knows what would happen in 10 days or weeks, much less 10 years. One thing for sure I'll need after doing some research and the advice given here is to get a good and experienced Colombian attorney well versed in real estate transactions. There's a public site called Espacio Urbano that lists apts / houses for sale and rent that locals use to compare prices within the same barrio since there's no such thing as an MLS in Medellin. I skimmed through it and lots of apts in the 200-250 million pesos range. And I also read some stories regarding shady ass Colombian real estate agents / agencies taking advantage of ill prepared gringos, so yeah I'm def going in armed and dangerous in figurative and legal terms.

Posts: 586Just to be clear. I am not trying to insult you by comparing you to him. Steve Jobs, real or fake, was overconfident. Reading his name just brought back memories. Nothing to do with you at all.

Posts: 309Ok, I'm def not a SJobs type of guy. I've met some members of this board and most recently Osteoknot and before him Jjbee62, so I'm not here to waste people's time and talk mess. I'm sure they can attest to my love and passion for Medellin and all the very good, some bad, and rarely ugly that comes with it.

Posts: 586Old SJobs. What a megalomaniac (just like the real Steve Jobs was).
If he really did exist and was as he described, he's probably dead or kidnapped by the FARC.
If he really does not exist as he described (which many of us suspect), he's sitting in his basement and making up other stories for him to enjoy with whatever new group he's found to bother.
Good riddance either way (not trying to be cold, but that guy was a piece of work).
