Sex and money since the beginning of time most definitely a universal language and I can understand your frustration with not understanding Spanish and the translator crap. Some guys will swear that they can operate just fine not speaking Spanish using a translator, but the truth is, it's a whole different world when you can speak the language.

Most of the issues and shit that the Chicas try to pull on guys who don't speak Spanish are way less, at least that's been my experience. I've been told I'm fluent in Spanish by other Colombians which honestly I find hard to believe at times because sometimes I can't understand some people and it's a function of their accent. I understand way more than I can say, maybe ten times as much and can carry on conversations on most topics, but flounder on the different tenses to use, but for some reason seem to always be able to get my point across, more so than some speakers who have all the tenses nailed meaning their booksmart, that's at least what a tutor told me.

Regardless, I think you have done quite well in Medellin with the Chicas you've written about in your posts having very limited Spanish speaking skills, a lot of times it's not how much you can say, but the timing of when to say things to the Chicas, albeit it may be garbled.

I have most of the tenses down, although I occasionally get befuddled, however, the more important part is having the vocabulary to go with it. That's where most of my problem is, not being able to remember the right word.

Uber, didi, indriver, even coopebombas all greatly decrease the potential for that sort of thing. That sort of thing does occur regularly. Sometimes the taxistas are in on it and sometimes they are not. Several of my loca friends tell me San Diego is a hotspot for it, especially the side streets around Little Caracas.

I've seen girls before riding around Parque Lleras in a taxi trying to get gringos in the taxi. I'd definitely steer clear of that.

I've almost always had good luck walking out of Parque Lleras on Calle 9 and grabbing a taxi in front of Parque Poblado.

I guess I have the best of both worlds in Medellin.

I have a nice place to chill with a Chica for a few days at a time in Poblado when I want, getting to blow loads whenever I want, especially early in the morning, at happy hour during Sunset, before bedtime, and when I don't have a Chica at my place, I do bombing runs in El Centro.

Last week was terrific, some days I would hit El Centro early in the morning and in the afternoon after a workout and then do some fine dining in Poblado, and other days would be sequestered in my place with my Nympho, playing house at times, cooking meals, drinking wine, and banging up in the Terazza bedroom besides the master bedroom.

Perhaps I'm a contradiction, being a dumpster diver in El Centro, yet an inhabitant of Poblado.

I have dined in Poblado in the past spending upwards of $ 80 USD for a fine dinner with wines, yet just a few hours before dinner spending $ 10 to 15 USD banging a Chica in El Centro to get my appetite up before dinner.

Maybe this is a strange picture for some, yet it's how I roll, and had been for the three years before the Pandemic.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the price has very little to do with your love of being a Centro rat. It's the thrill of the hunt, the walk on the dark side. Paying a chica to come over is normal, vanilla and there's no thrill, but grabbing a sweetie from the street is taboo, with just a whiff of danger.

Seems perfectly normal to me.

I post every once in awhile, but mainly just lurk. I'm just here reading, envious of everyone because my next trip isn't until February. I'll be there for a month and trying to figure out where to stay due to covid. With every day changing, who knows where we will be at the end of January / early February.

November and May are rainy season in the Valle de Aburra. This November has been unusually rainy. Daily showers and storms of up to several hours are normal. Sometimes it can rain almost non-stop for 48 to 72 hours. The weather you experienced during the quarantine is the norm outside of the rainy seasons.

And the saying is true, "A street puta would rather go to the dentist than get her hair wet" jajajaja. Trying to find a street girl after a rain storm is futile. Where do they all go?

The foto is Medellin, and that "faucet" style of rainstorm is not unusual. The clouds develop high pressure as they roll up the mountains and then as soon as they cross over the peaks into the valley that is Medellin, the sudden pressure drop releases the water like, well look at the foto.

You can be on the opposite side of the valley and the sun might be shining while you watch one of these babies.

But learning Spanish improves access and quality of the encounters as much as any factor I can think of, including money, IMO. My Spanish skills sound about the same as yours. The Spanish I have learned has probably paid more dividends than any other single effort I have made with the chicas. In fact, I dream of the day when I will be truly fluent in Spanish and how that will further enhance my Colombian lifestyle. A milestone for me was when could leave my phone behind and not feel panic inside without access to Google Translate, jaja. Sure, learning Spanish may not be practical for a one time short term visit but even then, if you know ahead of time about your trip here, 20 minutes a day on the free app Duolingo is more than worth it.

Would you mind sharing some spots in La 70 or La 33?

Both strips, la 33, and la 70 are good fun. But, bring a date. There are few, if any girls looking for action with foreigners there. Lots of bars, easy to see where the crowds are drawn to. Its Colombians partying with Colombians, the Colombian way.

90% of the girls in Gustos are not worth 200-300 usd. I've learned this on my first few trips to Medellin.

However I love to party sometimes on the weekends and Gustos is my spot for comfort.

I'll bring reg dates there and pop bottles and have fun cause once in a while that's my thing.

But for me the thrill is every once in a while you'll find a gem.

The 8's or 9's. It's rare indeed but most prepagos know this is where the gringo $$$ is.

Word gets around and you'll see all types of girls come in here.

But my last 4 or 5 trips I didn't pull anything.

I would honestly say the top tier girls of medellin would be found here if they are out looking for a payday.

I was in Medellin at the end of December last year and I think I spent 3 or 4 nights in and around Gustos. Just like others have said, Gustos is over priced compared to the girls you can pick up right outside and even the bar down the street from Gustos. I think it was actually called Parque Lleras, the girls were quite comparable to the level of talent as the Gustos girls, but they were only asking for 200 k a pop and you could talk them down to 150,000 if you really had to most of the time. The Gustos girls were asking 450 k and I only took two girls out of there compared to the 4-5 I got out of Lleras park in General. The girls I got out of Gustos on my personal scale were high 8's, maybe even a low 9 and provided great service, but drove a very hard bargain and did not budge on price. I was in Medellin for only 9-10 days, so to me it was worth it. Even the next day the one gusto's girl would not come down to 200,000 for a daytime session. I am in my late 30's and I still enjoy a club / bar scene some nights, so personally I like Gustos alot and I absolutely love Parque Lleras. Place was fuckin fun as hell pre-covid. I also checked out Face Dos one night, and there was some awesome talent in there, but I didn't jump on anything as the night was young and I wasn't ready to commit. A semi-secret gem in Medellin was the after hours strip club, fucked a gorgeous stripper in there at around 5-6 am One night for 200 k. I got to research the name of the place but it had alot of talent in there and girls were only asking 200 k. I never made it to La 70 or La 33 as I was having a great time in and around Parque Lleras. I am returning again at the end of December and hopefully I ll have time to check out more places. Personally I highly recommend Gustos if you haven't had the experience and your budget can facilitate paying top dollar. If your a seasoned vet in the monger game, Gustos may be a waste of your time as there is much cheaper options for close to the same talent. I am currently trying to meet girls on SA because I don't have FB and I am too lazy to make a FB just to score wgs in Medellin. I ll give SA a try and I am definately going to check out La 70 and La 33 and I ll do a review on what I see there as well. I hit the clubs in Parque Lleras up and I didn't pull anything for free, but still had a lot fun and in general, Colombians were pretty friendly and cool. Honestly, the wgs are so hot, cheap, and provide such great service, its really not that big of a deal to focus on non-pros because the pros are pretty fuckin awesome.

I'm with you, Blakman. The stories of Gustos are insane. Great place for someone who only has a few days and will probably never go again. Otherwise, I don't see the point. Overpriced. Drinks and girls. Girls are not that impressive IMO. I've had more fun in Lleras Park (disc) and Lleras Town. Actually, best bet is to skip Lleras all together and go to La 70 or La 33. And skip La Isla and Fase II. If you must, wait until after hours and go to the clubs where the strippers go to party. I've done that once or twice and had a great time. Strippers get horny too.

Ready for my annual Thanksgiving trip to MDE for a week. Followed by another week of so in early December. I am still working on the non-pro pipeline. Once you get on the right track and realize what they girls want (and not all of them just want money). It's not that hard. You just need patience. These chicas enjoy sex and they want sex where the guy pays attention to their needs and not just their own. They seem to appreciate it when someone pays attention to them and is nice to them.

That said, I do miss some of the pros. Not the hard-core pros or the ghetto girls, but the regular "pros" from facebook.
