I want to give a big shout out to everyone who's posted on this forum over the past two years or so. I've been planning my trip to Medellin for quite some time and I'm happy to share my report for those that are planning on coming out. I stayed in Medellin for 10 days, and am currently wrapping up 5 days in Bogota.

Arrived on Sunday 10/29 which was unfortunately the dry day "ley seca" but no matter, pulled out money pesos from the ATM at the airport and took the official airport taxi into El Poblado. There are many gift shops at the airport, that's where I bought my SIM Card for my burner phone. Just tell whomever is working how long you'll be there and they'll help you get what you need. Was like $10 for 2 weeks worth of data.

Lodging / Cash: Stayed at an Airbnb in Poblado in the Blux Apartment building. Had 0 issues running girls in and out of there over the 10 days. Discreet and friendly front desk staff as well. The location was awesome, short 15 minute walk down to Lleras or Provenza and the Interplaza Mall was 5 minutes away with restaurants, a pharmacy, coffee shops, but most importantly an ATM. I was hitting the ATM pretty much everyday as the one closest to me had a max limit of $600 k you could take out per transaction.

Food: Ordered groceries from Rappi and ate in the house a few times but mostly went out to eat in Provenza and La 70 area. Yes, the food here is bland, I agree. The best meal I had in Medellin was actually from a Peruvian restaurant. All of Colombia every time I've been served fries there is no seasoning on them LOL. Transportation: Dead ass ubered everywhere, only time I took the Metro was when I was with a local friend and she wanted to show me the metro and this other place right off of it. Just Uber, it's safe and cheap. It adds up after a while but it's the best option for gringos.

Non-Mongering: I did a tour of El Centro with Medellin walking tours, highly recommend, super informative and a good way to get the lay of the land in Centro if you plan to spend any time down there. I think there's no need to go there for mongering but it's good for shopping, food, or people watching at Parque Berrio. I also did a tour of La Comuna 13, highly recommend, super cool barrio with a cool story. Awesome views, souvenirs, and food. I booked that tour through Airbnb. I was planning on going to Guatape but unfortunately got a little sick due to all the partying and fucking I was doing LOL, so can't report on that.

Girls:

1. Strip Clubs. I only went to Fase ii twice to check it out. $30 k cover. If you don't buy a bottle you have to sit at the bar by the front. It was fun, beers kinda pricy at $30 k and girls will come up and grind on you as long you're giving them $2 k notes. You can also buy a ficha, I think it's $30 k. Only did one session here with a Paisa with a huge natural fat ass, she was a little sharky but the reason I went to Fase ii that night is because I had a kinda iffy FB girl and I wanted to shake her off LOL. Overall, I understand why some guys on here are salty as some of these girls definitely are superficial af and there's a lot of gringos out here. It's caused prices to go up and some of the girls have shit attitudes. Overall I had really good experiences and only one or two duds. But let's be honest, for the average US monger the prices are way better than Tijuana and the whole vibe with Facebook girls give you more time to vibe out.

A few tips for a good experience with the girls:

1. Make sure you can hold a conversation in Spanish! My fave Facebook girl told me usually the gringos that visit don't speak much Spanish and it just makes the vibe more awkward and more transactional. If you can communicate, hold eye contact, and dance a little bit you will get some good GFE treatment, just don't fall in love. Although you and I have never been approached when there, I suspect there are some SW's working inside Provenza, but let's say a different category of SW's than we see working Calle 10 and Lleras.

Guys who still use websites like skokka, mileroticos, etc to find hookers are stuck in the 90's / early 2000's. Everybody knows the bait and switch rates are high, the photos are heavily edited, the info (age, weight, etc) is not accurate.
