Must be the dates, as I saw the same prices I quoted to you this morning. $94 a night (on average) for an 8-night say from Dec. 5th to 13th for the Marquesses (which is a suite, no balcony). But $113 a night if just on the weekend. Smallest rooms are roughly $20 less in both instances. Doesn't include the VAT, but I don't believe that apples to foreigners (and the site says it does not, but I could be misinterpreting). But anyway, I'm not trying to be their shill. Duparc looks nice. I just personally find access to the the types of atmosphere I prefer (restaurants, cafes, bars) to be better where Haven is (although I'm also going to consider Click Clack this time around. But that is more expensive and I believe you have to pay for visitors). I'm so looking forward to getting back down there.

The prices change daily like flights do. Not nearly as much. I wanted a certain hotel near a disco in a small town that first listed $18, then $20, then hit $33, now back down to $19. All in a 7 day time frame.

I will be back in Medellin in early December for a little over a week, and the pricing for those small rooms (which I agree are tight) works out to under $80 a night. You can get a room with a living area (couch / chair) for under $100 a night which I found to be comfortable even during a 3 week stay. Of course, there are other options there which cost more (balconies, jacuzzis, multiple rooms) - but I found the location to be perfect for me (very close to Provenza and Lleras, but just far enough away from the action to be relatively quiet) and the hotel clean and modern. Of course, the dates you'll be staying there also matters for pricing. The breakfast sucks, though.

    Trip report. August 2023

Here's a summary of my trip in August 2023.

I'm a total newbie in Medellin and my Spanish was virtually non-existent. I could get by in a restaurant but that's pretty much it.

Prior to coming to Medellin I read the forum and my main take away was the fact that I had build a new FB profile and line up FB girls ahead of time. I spent about 2 months finding girls on FB and got to about 120 contacts. I did not contact any of them before landing in Medellin.

    Arrival and getting around

Since Uber is not officially allowed, I opted to get a taxi from the taxi area.

I asked the driver about the price but don't remember what he actually said.

Upon arrival to my destination he said 100 k. I thought it would be 75 k as was suggested elsewhere but I wasn't going to argue with him. I didn't have cash so opted to pay by card.

Taxi drivers have this portable card machine. The one my driver used didn't connect well. It took us 6-7 attempts before my transaction went through.

Tip: Often times when you pay by debit card they will ask you which account to use 'Ahorros' is for Savings and 'Corrientes' is for current account. Often times it doesn't matter what you choose but sometimes it does (as was the case with my taxi driver's machine).

Once in the city. I was Ubering pretty much everywhere. In my experience getting the non-taxi Ubers (inside the app you have a choice) was more reliable. Waiting times were shorter and they didn't cancel on me. In Medellin you should just get into the front seat straight away, some drivers don't mind you sitting in the back but sometimes they'll ask you to sit in the front. Also most of the Ubers I took had the seats adjusted for the front seat.

    Massage places

I used to be a massage guy for various reasons and I still like to mix in body to body massages when I travel.

I found 2 places in El Poblado with decent ratings just by searching on Google Maps. I find that reviews are somewhat trustworthy and indicative of the services provided.

First I tried Happy Massage. Messaged them on WhatsApp and they provided the price list along with the catalog of girls. Unfortunately there are no faces in the material you receive.

They have different types of massages ranging from normal with happy ending to body to body. Some include 2 finishes, some don't. But there's a clearly stated price in case you want 2nd finish with a massage that doesn't normally include it.

The line up was very decent. I tried 3 different massages with 3 different girls. Most were quite dark skinned, but there was also one lady with lighter skin.

I believe prices were in the range of 200-350 k.

Tip: I decided to try their most expensive option. The one that includes Pandora's box, thinking that maybe that includes things beyond hand relief, but it didn't (at least I my case). With Pandora's box the masseuse lets you choose one card which describes some kind of activity. I think I got a pretty lame one. Basically the girl would take a flashlight and guide your hand with it. I. e. You are touching where she is pointing. I have no idea what's on the other cards. Maybe I'll ask next time I visit.

I also didn't ask if there were any extras. While the masseuses were attractive 2 out of 3 did not give out GFE vibes, so I think it wouldn't have been good value for money anyway.

The massages were ok. Nothing to write home about, but they do focus on your erogenous zones sufficiently. YMMV with different masseuses though.

On one occasion I tried to check the full line up in person. But other girls weren't available, only the older lady. Which wasn't my type.

I'd give Happy Massage 4. 5/5 overall. It's pricey but I did enjoy my time there and the girls were hot.

    Esperanza Massage.

This place seems much cheaper. I think I paid 150 k for topless B2 be. Similar to Happy Massage they send you catalog of girls and prices via WhatsApp. I did get to see the line up. There were about 6 girls I think. None were my type to be honest, but one girl had a really nice booty so I went with her. Didn't ask for availability of BJ / FS.

    Mileroticos

Decided to try Mileroticos - 2 ads caught my eye. One masseuse and one independent.

    The masseuse.

Price was cheapest I encountered to date - 120 k for B2 be. Place was in Laureles. In a residential area. Found the door and rang the bell. Door was opened by the girl in the ad. She looked just as good in person as she did in the ad. A 19 year old Colombiana, slightly curvier than I like but still very attractive with great proportions. She was dressed in a masseuse uniform. Turns out it was some sort of a casa. Because she asked me who I was there to see.

Massage wasn't great and wasn't that sensual but upon turning over she asked me how I wanted to finish. The choices were oral and FS. I didn't actually understand fully what she was saying and just kept nodding, thus choosing FS for 100 k extra. So total damage was around 220 k.

The girl was very friendly but the room really smelled of man-juice, which was putting me off.

I'd give this girl 7. 5/10. Happy with experience and might even return back to marvel at her booty in doggy position.

    The independent.

Similar to the masseuse girl. Got the address in Laureles area by WhatsApp. I show up, knock on door, the door is opened by chubby lady. I say I want to see X (the girl from ad) - she says X is not available and asks if I want to see another girl. I say no and leave. The reason I left promptly is because in the 'reception area' there were 6 dudes sitting on couch staring at me having a conversation in my broken Spanish with that lady. They didn't look like tourists either. I didn't feel like sticking around, so left. But then I get another message on WhatsApp from X asking if I already left. I said no and she said to come back.

At this point there were several red flags and I should've just gone elsewhere at that point. Red flag 1: the girl was not independent, it was a casa. Red flag 2: they tried to bait and switch. Red flag 3: there are sketchy dudes on the couch.

I don't know what I was thinking but I went back. I think it's because the girl looked insanely hot on the ad and I thought it's worth taking a chance. When I get back, X opens the door. The lighting was not very good, I could recognise her but wasn't sure if she's a looker or not. She also had a long dress which covered most of her body. So I proceed inside and agree on the time / price. I think it was around 150-200 k. She takes her dress off and I know I made a mistake by coming back but it's too late to back out. It was a total waste of time and money.

I give this girl 4/10. Looks wise she is probably a 5 or a 6, but service was terrible.

    Parque Lleras and Calle 10

This is where a lot of the street walkers are. At night, girls don't just congregate in Parque Lleras. They are all along Calle 10 from Parque Lleras pretty much all the way to Provenza (the area with restraunts).

There are 2 things to note:

    1) Entry from Calle 10 to Prague Lleras and adjacent areas is controlled by security / police. You'll see metal fence thingies barricading the entrances, leaving just narrow gaps for entry and exit. Some girls get their IDs checked. I think they also check some bags.

    2) There's a lot of police around this area at night. Yet you still get some dudes trying to sell you coke as you walk around.

It's a bit weird to see working girls standing right next to the police. For the first few days this was putting me off from getting numbers from girls, but it seems to be pretty normal here.

I got a total of 3 numbers from street girls.

One quoted 100 dollars. I did not continue conversation. One quoted 300 k and another one 350 k (not including taxis).

I decided to session with the one who quoted 350 k. I really liked her look when I saw her on the street. Very pretty face and nice ass. It was the worst punt of my entire trip.

Her boobs sagged a lot and weren't pleasant to look at. But worst of all she had some skin issues. I couldn't see it before because of what she was wearing.

I know people say that you shouldn't pay upfront, in the past I've had plenty of experiences where I paid upfront and had a good time, so I didn't think much of it.

By the time I saw her naked I already gave her the money and I didn't think there was a way for me to get it back.

The girl was 21 (I think), had a son, was generally pleasant to talk to. I just wish I could meet her 2 years earlier before she had a baby. For some reason I kept thinking about this girl from time to time afterwards, I just felt sorry for her situation. Because of that. I didn't care much for money I gave her.

    Ibiza Motel (Itagui branch)

I decided to use Ibiza Motel for all of my punts. My thinking was that it's safer this way and I could save some money by not staying in some overpriced hotel in El Poblado.

I really didn't know how motels worked in Medellin, so here's a guide I wish I had:

    1. You don't need to book in advance. You just show up and get the room on the spot. They have different types. I opted for 'Premium' which is 120 k. You can book advance, but it's mostly for special occasions when you want to order some custom decorations etc. Locals would use it for anniversaries etc.

    2. When you get to the motel there's an intercom that you use to speak to the 'receptionist' but in practice there's also someone outside. If it's in the evening. It's probably the security guard, but if you are there earlier in the day. There's some sort of a 'maid'. Most of the time I'd just tell them that I want Premium and then they'd talk to someone inside. Once the room is allocated they tell you the number of the room. Rooms are along a long passage. There's a digital sign next to each door which lights up when the room is allocated, so you are able to see where to go.

    3. The doors to the rooms are controlled by the reception. They open the doors when someone arrives or after you've paid and ready to leave. For most rooms there's a set of stairs you have to climb to get into the actual room. The doors don't open into the rooms directly, they lead you to the stairs bit.

    4. Aircon and jacuzzi are disabled by default. There's a phone in the room. You can ring reception to ask them to turn on either.

    5. You get a phone call from the reception when a guest arrives. The inform you of the arrival and ask for confirmation. Once you confirm they let the guest through and open the door.

    6. For some reason I couldn't just let my guest out and stay in the room myself after we were done. I tried a few times in my broken Spanish but had no luck. So I had to always leave with the girl at the same time.

    7. When you are ready to leave. You call the reception and tell them that you want to pay and leave. In your room. There's a fridge. On the other side of the fridge is actually the space where all the maids are. So once they know that you are ready to leave. They open the fridge from the other side and check what you've used.

Once they've calculated your total they will knock from the other side of the wall where fridge is. There's a compartment above the fridge. You open that and talk to the person on the other side. They show you the bill and you are able to pay. I always paid by card.

Once you've paid. The doors downstairs are opened and you can leave. The moment you leave the room. Maids enter the room and check the room. As you walk out the security guard would normally stop me and ask to wait until the maids confirm that everything is in order. Until the guards gets a confirmation he'd keep you there. They also have a waiting area where you can wait for taxis.

    8. Room is given to you for up to 6 hours, after which they start charging extra. There are also limits on how many people can be in the room depending on the room you booked. I believe Premium is for 2 people, but you can get a third one in if you pay extra.

    FB girls

FB girls were the highlight of the trip.

I am not going to describe each encounter, I'll just summarise as follows:

    - Out of 5 girls, only 1 didn't provide GFE (but she had the best ass).

    - Looks / body wise they were 7. 5-9's for me.

    - As far as I remember. Ages were 18/19/19/21/23.

    - 2 didn't want to use condoms and in the heat of the moment I went along with it (never done this before. Ever). 1 of them didn't let me pull out. She was on top.

    - Prices were 250 k-350 k + 50 k for taxis.

    - I did encounter a fair few scam profiles. In 2 cases I found out they were scammers pretty late in the process. 1 I was able to spot just before arranging for meet up. They used photos of some OF model that I was able to reverse image search eventually (had to try each photo). 1 was indistinguishable from a real profile (I. E. I met up with another real FB girl who had a very similar profile). I don't know what they wanted but they played along all the way through arranging a meet up and even saying they are ready to catch a taxi. Then nothing. Fortunately someone else was available at last minute, so it was fine.

I'm coming back to Medellin in a few weeks and planning to repeat all of my FB girls and try to find a few more.

If anyone wants to exchange contacts for FB girls. DM me, but please be aware I'm very picky and don't get mad if I decline your offers. Also, obviously I can only vouch for my experiences. Your mileage may vary.

I'll attach screenshots of FB girls I mentioned above. If you are able to find them through the images. Go for it. You earned it. And I'll be happy to share their contacts in DMs after my trip in November.

I'm too lazy to proof read my post. Hope at least some of it is readable and useful to somebody.

(I'll be in Medellin again in first 2 weeks of November. DM me if you want to meet up.).

Yes, all the girls are working girls. Quality is pretty good, lots of 6-7's who will almost always show you a good, safe, time as they don't want to get barred. Price is def negotiable but 250 cop is a normal rate.

I have stayed there a couple of times. It is inexpensive for the area and safe. They do allow guests but there is a fee, I believe $10-20 but don't hold me to that. The rooms are indeed small and it is a no frills hotel. If you want to spend time in the room, it is not for you. If it is a place to sleep, shower, s* and shave, with guests when you want it, it serves the purpose. DuPark next door is nicer and has a great breakfast, but their price has doubled from the time I first stayed there 2 years ago. Lleras Green cannot be closer to the action, so convenient. It is pretty noisy, so if you want to sleep before 3 am, bring ear plugs and noise cancelling headsets. Hope this helps.

    Happy hunting.

You might want to re-check the pricing. I will be back in Medellin in early December for a little over a week, and the pricing for those small rooms (which I agree are tight) works out to under $80 a night. You can get a room with a living area (couch / chair) for under $100 a night which I found to be comfortable even during a 3 week stay. They like the location and consider it just below a Hilton or Marriott but costs slightly more. Overall they like it because they don't get hassled about bringing in girls the way they used to at the Dann Carlton and the Four Points. All the questions are making more curious to see the rooms so I'm going to check it out when they are here next time.

I don't know much about hotels in Medellin. Unless they rent by the hour LOL!. I've never entered the Haven so all my information is second hand. I will say that small spaces are not unusual in Medellin. There are businessman hotels a little farther away from Lleras and la 10 but they are going to limit your visitor count.

It shows up as "I'm a huge pervert, I've married a woman I despise, and now I'm looking for hookers in Colombia, LLC".

There’s literally a banner on every page telling you how to get a subscription. If you get stuck, search the whole forum for “bitcoin” to get some hints. Not asking for much here just the bare minimum amount of initiative.

So I am actually familiar with this hotel as I asked the people at the front desk to show me 2 rooms there while on a trip. The one thing I can say is that the rooms that I saw did not have a single window so they felt cold and weird. I would not have minded even looking out to another building but to have no windows on a long trip would bother me so I ruled it out. The rooms were just okay, and were of a 3 star type. But it serves as a good backup if one is looking for cheaper rooms near Parque Lleras. The Arte Hotel has better rooms but they have a more industrial/cold feel also but they do have windows which let light in but the view is of a building only.
