What I miss, what I miss. Anybody know the real scoop between slapshot and technically ex wifey. Most 18 year olds don't give up living in a penthouse, free gourmet dinner, top shelve liquor, tussi. You think she found out the Tito's was really smirnoff. Gimmie the scoop yall.

There is nothing odd about it at all. It is the same thing that me and other friends do in Thailand. It is the same thing that my buddy has done for years in Medellin. We do not have any special visas, only tourist visas. Things are so cheap that if you travel to a place often you fare better getting an apartment on a long term lease. Now for guys that have to have the Poblado penthouses this does not work out so well. But for guys that can stomach normal local living it works out great.

Because you get a place is not saying you have to stay there 8 months straight. But what I spend for a 1 year lease ($1700), some people will come drop that on a hotel for 2 weeks. My buddy's place in Prado Centro for 1 month ($250) is probably what guys come spend to stay at the Mansion for 3 or 4 days. Then he does not have to worry about lugging all kind of shit back and forth either.

He said the $6000 included utilities and him furnishing the place. Next year he will not have to buy furniture again and will be paying way less.

No need to travel with luggage for a year, plus I put myself in a position to work stress free for the next 3 months. My girl knows the rent is paid for the next year, and Friday alone, I recovered more than 80% of the $6000 that I spent. For some the Quarantine has been disastrous, for me it has been a financial blessing. Pollo negro is out!

Now for guys that have to have the Poblado penthouses this does not work out so well. But for guys that can stomach normal local living it works out great.

A good Poblado penthouse with one to two bedroom, panoramic view of the city, and a jacuzzi cost about 3000 dollars per month, that is still a steal compare to California. The good ones are almost never available. A upside of the covid situation is that a lot of good penthouses are available now, for me, it make sense to sign a year lease, when I'm not in Medellin, I can very easily Airbnb it out.

Interesting that he would pay for an apartment for a year in advance, and unless he already has a visa, not a tourist visa, if that's what he entered the Country on, he may have a problem getting an extension and forced to leave the Country. Perhaps he will explain how he is addressing all this because it sounds odd, unless he has something other then a tourist visa that he got upon arrival.

Well the beauty of it is that cheap liquor to us is still expensive liquor to them. So they are impressed at any price point.

Interesting that he would pay for an apartment for a year in advance, and unless he already has a visa, not a tourist visa, if that's what he entered the Country on, he may have a problem getting an extension and forced to leave the Country. One thing for sure is he will be considered a "tax resident" once the clock is re-set by immigration and he has been in the Country over six months, and will be required to file with DIAN, albeit he may not owe anything. Perhaps he will explain how he is addressing all this because it sounds odd, unless he has something other then a tourist visa that he got upon arrival.

I would not bother re-filling bottles either. But I know the point I was making (and that I assume he was making) is that these girls do not know the difference between good liquor, wine, or beer and shit. Since I rarely drink any more (perhaps unless I go out), I don't bother buying high-end stuff for the apartment. I might get some rum and some Aguila Light. If I bring anything from the states, it's not high-end, but they don't know that. I wouldn't mind paying for something good if I thought they really could tell and appreciate the difference. For them, it's free booze, so they really don't care in the end.

No offense bro. The 20 years younger version of me would totally do the same. But as a person who is pushing 40, the mental burden of trying to pass cheap liquor as something more expensive is totally not worth the price differential. The merely thought of one day when I'm in my 40's sitting in a bar talking / thinking about how I have gotten a better blowjob because I put some johnny walker red label into a blue label bottle kills me. How would the experience be better in Brazil? I haven't been there.

In my opinion, the mongering culture in Brazil is, in general, better than anywhere on earth. I'm a frequent visitor to Rio, for me, Rio is more beautiful than Medellin, it has one of the most gorgeous landscape in the world. Girls in Brazil are hotter, crazier and the average service is better. I have yet found a girl in Brazil who doesn't offer DFK, 80% of the girls I encountered in Rio offer and enjoy anal. The termas in Rio is like the FKKs in Germany, the facility is a bit subpar compare to its German counterparts, but the passions of the girls there more than makeup for it. You can make out with a girl for hours in the club before taking her to a room. There are free lancer pick up bars and clubs on the beach, they open until 6-9 am, I love to party all night, for me, a real party should start at 2 am.

I normally spend my first week in Brazil collecting numbers from girls in termas and at mab (the go to late night pick up place in copacabana). In the second week, the party moves to my apartment, I had some amazing threesomes in Brazil. Mongering in Brazil is a bit more costly compare to Medellin, but the difference become almost invisible when compared against San Francisco. Once you establish a solid list of girls, and treating them well, the price will come down to near Medellin level (well, I should say near Poblado level). Medellin on the other hand, is smaller, cuter, and has the best weather on earth. You don't get the variety of girls like what you can find in Brazil, for example, in Brazil I can easily find blondes with green eyes and brunettes with blue eyes, where as in Medellin it would be a rare find. The aesthetics of Medellin as a city attracts me, I love the afternoon rain, the humbleness of the people and their good taste in music. I long for the magical feeling I get while strolling down the street in Medellin. If one spend enough time searching and building relationships with the chicas in Medellin, one can enjoy Brazil level mongering experience in this boutique and mysteriously beautiful city.

I can tell you this, I just rented a brand new apartment in Buenos Aires area of Medellin. Three bedroom, 2 bath, and I furnished the apartment off and paid the entire rent for the full year with utilities included for under $6,000 usd. I have finally reached the bottom of what I need to live here in Medellin on a minimum income. Yesterday was the first time that I actually saw that having $50,000 pesos daily, is more than enough money to get you through 2-3 days. When I first arrived 3 years ago and I knew that I would only be here for 14 days at the most, I had no limit on the amount of silver that I would spend. Now that I do not know how long I will be here, it is a nice feeling to know that your bills are paid for an entire year and no one can ask you for anything outside the range of $100,000 pesos for maybe shoes or clothes.

Once you know, you know and there is no turning back. When these girls receive $200,000 pesos for a date, if they receive all $200,000 pesos, they have easily received enough money for the week. No one has to tell me this, because I clearly see it myself. If you have food and a place to stay, your outlook is unlimited, especially if you're earning American Money while living here in Medellin. I have decided that I will now budget around $600-$750,000 pesos a month for my living expense and that's with 3 people eating and that's 3 meals a day. It took some time to find my place but once I found it and got everything put in writing, it was a no brainer for me. I no longer have to budget for rent or anything extra. So if you are living at home with your parents and you are earning $200,000 pesos twice weekly, you are doing very well here in Medellin.

I have learned that there are many good furniture stores and glass stores in and near Prado. The Furniture is good, but rarely does anyone sell everything that you need so you really have to piece everything together from store to store. For example, example, you may have one person who sells beds, but they don't sell living room sets, they may sell living room sets, but the glass table isn't long enough to support your TV so you have to buy a customized glass top from the glass store, all in all, everything that you need to fill a 3 bedroom apartment can be found in Prado Centro. If you travel to the region about Vera Cruz near Parque Botero you can find any curtains, bed spreads, and comforter set that you need. In Centro and Carrera Junin, you can find anything you need for plates and eating utensils. I now have a real peace of mind and there is no need for my girlfriend to bug me about an apartment anymore.

I can now concentrate on who I want to bang, I get messages everyday asking for citas, but I just did not have the time to entertain anyone until I got my living arrangements satisfied. So now I can decide who I really want to bang and who can arrive on time. I really have no more than an hour or two to be away from the apartment. You live and you learn, had I known that I would be able to get an apartment for so cheap there is no way I would have wasted the amount of money I did on the first 5 months here. I am learning from the board and other resources, no matter what barrios these chicas live in, if you are in Medellin at the time and you have a minimum of $200,000 pesos to blow, you can have almost anyone of the girls you want. I've never done this, and it was a little tongue-in-cheek, but for our Cheap Charlies, this is easily something you could do. Imagine Blakman pouring a glass of "Ron Zacapa" with his snacks tray. You think this is a fucking bar, or what? It reminds me of the scene in Narcos where the guy stationed in NYC brings back a bottle of Jack Daniels for one of the heads of the Cali Cartel. It could have been Evan Williams or Old Fitzgerald, with the same intended result. Remember, we're talking about low-estrato barrio girls. In short, they don't fucking know the difference between a Tito's Jell-O shot or a white vinegar Jell-O shot.

Bailey's. Now there's a flashback. One of my former regulars wanted me to get some rum for a trio. I didn't go all out, but went higher quality than necessary. 1) Often use ghetto slang Spanish.

2) Often have shoddy tatoos.

3) Often like to wear fake Gucci, Prado, Luis Vitton, etc. To make themselves feel special.

4) Can drink most of us under the table.

5) Often have not learned proper manners, including when eating (not their fault. Product of the environment).

6) Can be very loud.

7) Not necessarily well-educated, but usually very street smart and know how to take advantage of the environment, which puts most gringos at a huge disadvantage.

Obviously not all girls from strata 1 and 2 are like this, but many of them are. Meeting at least most of these criteria. This is why they stick out so bad if you were to take them to Lleras to eat or party.

Thanks, by this description, most the girls in gusto are not in this category. I don't know Spanish, so I can't tell whether my girls are using slangs or not, almost all the girls I see in Medellin has some tattoos. I can drink a lot, haven't found any girls who can out drink me yet. A girl did stole a new bottle of whiskey from me once.

I wonder if there is any correlation between Estrato and the level of services they provide. It seems like the best service is unlikely to come from the highest and the lowest estrato.

True all this about these barrio girls but every so often I find one that can be so much fun for a few hours but then don't ever think about taking one to my man cave as these girls, especially some when they get high, will become a problem as they want to continue to party and can be very annoying and even embarrassing if you brought her to your apartment.
