My weekend warrior friends have pretty much settled on the the Haven.

What, in particular, have your friends liked about the Haven? I had a girl tell me that she liked to go there with clients, so it must be fairly nice.

Any additional information is welcomed before I book my Thanksgiving week trip, thanks!

I definitely recommend hanging some evenings at the Mansion's (Casa Blanca in the forums here) attached bar (nickname La Cueva). It's $50 k COP ($11-12 USD) to enter as a non-guest. The girls come and go in waves, but all have their ID checked and recorded. Meaning it is a very safe environment to meet girls, exchange WhatsApp numbers, and even take one back. I know this is not the thread to discuss Medellin hotels but the Medellin Hotel thread is dead. There have been only like 8 posts in 1 month and lots of crickets in between posts. Nonetheless, was wondering if anyone could recommend hotels with following things:

1) Girl friendly- allow different girls daily at no charge. I am okay with paying for the 2nd girl in the same day as I only do 1 per day.

2) Relatively near Parque Lleras area, not to exceed about 0.5 km or like 10 minute walk max from there.

3) Nice, 4 star rated . Good size rooms.

4) Cost / Budget- Up to about 120 us dollars per night.

I like the Hotel DuParc but rates really shot up to almost 160 per night. I have stayed at the Mansion but found it noisy in the morning, older, and I have plenty of chicas lined up.

I checked the Hotel Dix and its sold out for my dates (week after Thanksgiving).

LLeras Green Hotel, I've heard good things about this hotel. This is close to your descriptions. Guest friendly. I never stayed here as I prefer guest friendly Airbnb's with security. I was considering on staying at this hotel last year based from the review of a guy from YouTube, but I decided that I don't want to be too close to Parque LLeras.

Also, if you like beer, I recommend Foxey Pub in the Manila area of Poblado. This pub has 6 different breweries under one roof; each brewery basically runs their own little bar. Great way to try amazing local beers. It's also a really nice relatively safe area to chill and walk around in.

But there is also in addition Privigil Dapoxetine (available in USA by prescription but not in Colombia, or import it from India online) which is to prevent premature ejaculation. I've used my Schwab card all over the world for twenty years and have never put in a travel alert, and have never had the card declined. YEMV.

Yes, brother. Schwab has been remarkable consistent. Over the many years I have had an account with them a decline has never happened. But it is important to always have a plan be. Sometimes a particular ATM will not take the card or rejects it. Sometimes I have to place my cart into the ATM more than once before it takes it. On my last trip a transaction was declined. I was moving around in the USA and I always have problems with my financial institutions (bunch of mother fuckers if you ask me). It took a little time on the phone to figure everything out. My movements had tripped the AI fraud detector even though I had filed my travel notices. After I got off the phone with them, everything has been working fine. Some people take a really negative view of everything.

Now it should be noted that I have had ATMs snatch my card twice. Called Schawb. They had my card to me in two days on their dime. But the first time I had to borrow money from my friends I was with and many of them are the cheapest of the cheep mother fuckers. I like the ones that are generous like I am. But I learned my lesson and keep cash as a back up. Second time it did not phase me at all as now I keep two banks. Banks fucking with my money is the reason I prefer crypto.

Exchange rates are a fact of life for the international traveler. I remember when I first started posting here people were clowning on me because I exchanged money at the airport. Enough to get me my girl waiting to give pussy via a taxi ride. Talk about a bunch of cheep mother fuckers. Damn! My advice is just to make sure you are not being a penny wise and a pound foolish. Calculate how much you are giving up for each transaction. Unless you are moving serious money (sometimes I do and sometimes I don't) it really should not matter to a person who has paid for their passport, a plane ticket, hotel room and lodging for their trip. Hit the gym so you can build the guns that allow you to carry your stack and spend it. Money means nothing in life. Other than what it can get you to improve your life.

Nice try buddy. These are current rates as of Friday 10/13. Most money exchange places are offering 3800 to 3900 per dollar while the atms are giving out between 4200 to 4300 per dollar. That's a difference of between 30 mil to 40 mil (about 10%) for each $100 that is exchanged / withdrawn. Adds up fast if one is exchanging $500 usd or more.

Not sure about you, but if I went to Colombia with $5,000 usd I wouldn't want to give away $500 of it to a money exchange kiosk.

Attached is the current rates of money exchange kiosks in various cities in Colombia and at different money exchanges.

Only in Cucuta does the rate apear to be somewhat close to the real exchange rate and none of you are flying in thru Cucuta..

For about 3 years now, at the Bogota airport, there has almost always been at least 1 currency exchange place giving very close to what you can get from the ATM (by declining the local conversion). If your bank charges a transaction fee and, or a currency exchange fee, the rate is better than the ATM.

Generally speaking, exchanging currency at the airport is a bad idea. The rates are always terrible. On the same day, in the Bogota airport I was offered 3300,3700, 3850 and 4200 when the rate was 4300.

Just go to any of the clubs in lleras. Halloween has gotten much much bigger in the past decade. Before it was soo hard for colombians to source costumes. Now these bitches go crazy!

It really is a great place for Halloween.

I Second Halloween in Medellin. Its a party with so many people walking around in Parque Lleras trying to have fun. I further recommend you try to find the house pool parties.

This is my first time going Halloween time in Medellin. Does anybody knows any Halloween parties event to go to? I'd definitely going to try one of the nights in the Mansion. I've read about some kind of motorcycle Halloween event that will be happening.
