I have, in my time, mongered throughout the world principally in Asia and South America. I still have fond memories of Medellin, staying in Poblado but mongering in Mayorista and occasionally around Plaza Botero / Vera Cruz.

My question is am I too late at 73 to monger in Medellin. Libido is high but body is weaker. Any insight would be appreciated.

Consider staying in Laureles to avoid the hills of Poblado. There are many sources of girls who are more than happy to come to you. If the desire is still there, you're not too old.

Yes they are all into creating, editing, watching these stupid time wasting apps like tictoc and bigo and about a dozen others, what a waste of a life.

Bigo and Tik Tok aren't really comparable. Tik Tok is a video sharing app. Bigo is a livestreaming app. Both are entertainment services, but not really the same thing.

You should be interested in these apps, because they are changing things. Tik Tok is being used to coordinate political activism, and because it's mostly kids, it's flying under the radar. With it's popularity it may well become a major factor in world politics.

Bigo is a money making opportunity for a lot of young women and it is currently ridiculously popular in Colombia. There are many different agencies recruiting girls to work on Bigo. They have an advantage over the webcam apps. No special equipment is required. There's no nudity, so there's no risk to the reputation. One of the girls recently sent me her pay schedule. The models collect "beans" (I don't know why beans, instead of coins or diamonds). Each "gift" has a bean value.

If she collects 30,000 beans in a month she receives 1. 5 million pesos. 60,000 = 3 million pesos. 100,000 = 5 million pesos.

Earning 30,000 the first month is hard. Earning 60,000 the 2nd month is hard. However, if she sticks with it 3 months 100,000 becomes fairly easy.

A lot of the working girls are trying it right now. They don't have customers and they need the money. The ones who get up to 5 million a month and more aren't likely to want to handle old gringo dick for 50 k.

You don't need to embrace the latest technology, but it helps to be aware of it.

Afraid to go out with this lock down. I see police pass by the end of the street or past me about every 25 minutes which turn into every 15 minutes if I am walking around. I have a friend older than you who up until a few months ago was banging hoes in the Plaza Botero / Veracruz area daily. When things open back up get your ass down there.

Stay in Poblado like before in nice digs, and taxi to El Centro. Even if your body is weaker, no problem, as plenty of girls will service you without you having to do anything except lay there if you want. You actually won't recognize the place in terms of girls, there's hundreds of them with the invasion of the Venezuelans.

Maybe it was different when you did it but after a half hour of just blindly scrolling I only saw two girls who fit your criteria. Compared to the ease of assembling a facebook list of amigas Bigo seems like 50 times the effort for a fraction of the results.

I never said it was better than Facebook. Facebook is easy and absolutely free. Anyone looking for working girls on Bigo is wasting time. You can find them, but you are much better off with Facebook.

Anyone else using Seeking?

I have been having some annoying issues. Sometimes when I click back, it logs out. Sometimes when I click a profile, it says there is no profile, but if I click enter in the address bar, it works. It doesn't load or update the search / message lists properly.

Recently I have the log out issue frequently. I think there is a bug in the search function but I don't know if we experience the same thing. I have not experience the fake block problem you have.

I am planning on going there for my first time next June and staying at the Mansion for a few weeks. I have been working on building up my Facebook chica list. OK you arrived on March 15. Normally (we are NOT in normal) you get a 90 day term for your visit (the stamp in your passport) at the end of 90 days you should be leaving the country. You do have the option to extend for another 90 days by going to Migration Colombia offices and requesting an extension and paying whatever they charge (it's not a lot) and they give you a second 90 day stamp. You are NOT allowed to stay in country for.

More than 180 days during a calendar year. The fines are substantial and they will hold you up at the airport until you pay them.

OK that was the normal procedure.

Migration Colombia offices have been closed during the quarantine. There was a general announcement. Your 90 day tourist visa (the arrival stamp in your passport) was suspended when the quarantine started and.

Until the quarantine officially ends the clock is suspended. I. e. You March 15th entry means you only used 10 days (I don't remember the exact start date of the quarantine but it was around March 25th) it has been extended several times. So until it ends the clock is shut down. You obviously can stay through the rest of this year. And then in 2021 you get a new 180 days..

Look at the number of "beans" they have. If it's over 2,000 just scroll on. Ideally you'll find one with under 10 beans. Chat nice with them. Let them know you're familiar with Medellin. Maybe mention some restaurants or night clubs. Give some gifts, enough to get their attention. Send them a private message. You can do that by clicking on their name, then click on chat. Say a few nice things, throw out your WhatsApp in case they want to talk. You may have to chat more before they'll move to WhatsApp.

Once you have their WhatsApp, it's up to you to figure out if they're a pro or non-pro.
