That is indeed the deal. They have to keep a lower profile and dress more modestly than their Lleras / la 10 counterparts (not very difficult). The checkpoints are not at all difficult to defeat. It's pretty simple to just walk in the back way or at any corner of la 10 west of the checkpoints. I'm wondering why there are anti sex tourism signs at the entrances of restaurants on carrera 33 if there are no prepagos. But seriously, in Provenza girls don't whistle or pull at your clothes like on la 10 but they are working.

I thought I wrote that Provenza has prepagos. It's reassuring to be considered a normal person. I've been known to have a drink or two when I'm out but so far I haven't gotten so juiced that I can tell the difference between la 10, Lleras and Provenza.

What criteria do you use in deciding what is reasonable and fair?

Price threads are on-going here and there has been a lot of back and forth about what is too much. It tends to get very hostile with a lot of guys insulting other guys and calling them simps so I don't want to get into that. There are too many variables for the girls so there is no one set going-rate for girls in Medellin. For each person, it boils down to their own financial situation, and how much they really want that particular girl. My take on it is if you are happy with paying a certain amount to a girl and she is happy with the amount, then it is a win-win. Now, you could have paid less, but you don't have any issues with it so I would not worry about it.

You are here on vacation. You want to have a good time. You're having a good time and the amount you spend is fine with you. Then I would say the amount you paid to the girls is reasonable and fair to you.

I agree with this statement if you use Facebook for your real friends. It can get awkward. I don't use FB anymore with my friends and so I just started deleting all my real friends and started over with girls from Medellin.

And the prices being reported here by others are ridiculous, especially when the quality at least what I have seen is on par with Centro as this is where a lot of the SW's have been showing up from as I and others have noticed.

It's probably because I look thirstier and sleazier. I get propositioned whenever I'm there. Carrera 33 and the quebrada bridge are clean zones. The bars and discos between la 10 and la 8 are hot spots. I'm not a regular so what happens to me is more anecdotal than scientific. As you know, in Colombia there is a very fine line between single girls and street walkers. It's not common for girls out for civilian activities to do it without a mixed group of friends. La 10 and Lleras now make Plaza Botero feel like Disneyland. The transformation since the pandemic is really striking.

2. Do you use your own photo?

3. Do you use your own name or make up one?

4. Do you set your location as Medellin or your country / city?

5. Do you maintain the profile with regular updates / photos and such?

I don't see the benefit of using a different profile. I hate Facebook anyways and having on login for verything just makes my life easier.
