There os no need to be frightened of Uber essential. It is just their way of getting past the obstacles the taxi unions put in their way. Uber by the way is still slightly cheaper than taxis vía Didi or direct. The difference is minimal so the real advantage of Uber is the better condition of the generally later and newer cars. I always use Didi and never had a problem. You can register like Uber where you pay with your credit card or you can use cash. You pay what is on the meter so make sure the cab turns on the meter when you get in. Keep in mind, Pico why Cedula is for shopping and going to the bank. I agree. I was in Central as well yesterday. Botero seems like it has more people than before. I haven't tried Uber in months but I do use Didi. I saw one or two working chicas that caught my eye, but for the most part, it broad daylight and most of the talent I saw was subpar.
