I am planning a trip to Medellin for a month arriving mid-November before Thanksgiving.

I messaged seven Airbnb ask for day visitors and occasionally nighttime visitors.

One says no sex tourism. And one says I have to pay if the visitor stays after dawn.

The rests are cool with it. (One says the guest need to register at the door.).

So, is there any specific neighborhood to stay as long? It's good as long as not too far from Metro?

Anywhere in Poblado or Laureles is fine. It doesn't have to be close to the Metro. You can always take Uber for a few bucks anywhere you need to go. The FB and Seeking girls don't take the Metro. They take taxis so distance from Metro not important for mongering purposes.

I never been to Medellin, was worried about the drugging thing and the gringos and hoodrats over taking the place, so I thought let me import something just in case.

This is exactly my concern as well. I was going to go down there in November, but I push back my vacation till February. I'm going to go to the La mansion Super Bowl weekend already have a room reserved provided there's drugging crap everything down there gets a little better I'm pretty sure the girls at the hotel are going to be safe and not doing that because they don't want to cut off their long term money but it's a gamble meeting some woman outside of the hotel.

Stay in the vicinity of poblado / parque Lleras. It's the safest place for foreigners. Lots of restaurants and clubs, very walkable, and generally safe. Still, keep your head on a swivel don't take your eyes off your drink, and don't walk around with your pricey valuable phone out on display.

I recommend starting with filtering for "self check in. " It's tedious work but there are normally plenty of options. Most won't say in the listing they are guest friendly. You also need to inbox the host, confirm guests are allowed and ask if there are additional fees. If there is a doorman or it's a hotel setup, some will try to charge an exorbitant fee for each guest. It's also good to make sure there is a safe either as an amenity in the listing or by asking in your message to the host.
