Right? I haven't seen any signs telling the indigenous men to go back to their land, or saying grandpas aren't wanted here, or pamphlets being handed out to dance school owners telling them grooming is discouraged. There is a systemic problem in this country, along with many others, and a few dumb-F gringos are just a drop in the bucket. Keystone cops don't help, but if you ask me, a grandpa R-ing his granddaughter sends you to a real special place compared to some foreign slob being an idiot in what would certainly seem like an illegal agreement between parties type situation (based on the elevator video). Certain people will take to the streets for whatever the topic of the day is, but it boggles my mind on how locals can hear half a story from their neighbor's grandma's maid's friend on whatsapp, Day 1, and never think for a second there could be more to the story. Gentrification is my other hot button issue. Zimbabwe is at 130%, pretty sure there aren't many gringos buying apartments and bottles of alcohol there. Gas is up 50% in the US and I don't hear too many people blaming it on the Colombians in Miami or NYC. Ok, that's my rant for the day. All this greenery and peace at The Masters got me in the mood to pick a fight with my laptop LOL. In case anyone is worried, this has nothing to do with being sexually frustrated!
Enjoy the weekend. Cheers!

Cheers man, appreciate the kind words.

Clubs start shutting down around 2:30, but I stil heard music blasting until 4 am. Don't know where it was coming from.
I'm staying at Lleras Green hotel, the hotel is ok. There wi-fi sucks.
They charge 100,000 person for guess. You first guess is free, you can bring the same guess as many times as you like. But if you bring in a different guess they will charge you. That sucks.
Nothing really to do in the Lleras parque area during the day. No girls walking around. Things pop off at night.

Girl Friendly Hotel / AirBnb
I am looking for a Girl-Friendly Hotel or Airbnb. I am happy to pay the extra fees. I am looking for a hotel or Airbnb with security that will keep the girl's ID and only give it after making sure that I am not drugged. Thanks.

Yes, confirmation bias aside, the fact is Colombia is in a period of drought right now. It hasn't affected Medellin yet but the risk is there. It's so bad that Bogota is about to impose water rationing. Scheduled and unscheduled water outages are not unusual in Medellin. That's why most high rises have water tanks. It's not fair that only poor people in the barrios are affected by the water outages. You are probably not going to have a problem drinking the tap water. People here do it all their lives and gastritis is not the sort of problem it on the coast. I personally don't plan to cancel my Postobon deliveries any time soon. Three five gallon bottles cost about 44,000 pesos. It's not a big expense.

But as soon as the water pressure is off there can be infiltration and then without super chlorination and pipe flushing you can have issues for some time. Eventually the chlorine will clean that up, but my rule is that if there are frequent events of the water being turned off then the tap water is not safe. That is true everywhere, but more true in places where you can see frequent leaks from water supply. Which is the case in Medellin, and certainly in San Jose Costa Rica.
And equating unsafe water with food and talking of them as being local bugs. That is not useful in my opinion. Eating local food will not help you with water contamination.

This strikes me as a bit crazy and laughable at the same time. The Mayor issued the decrees under pressure from political opponents. It would have been very difficult politically to remain silent or take no action. Once he put the 6-month restrictions in place, merchants demonstrated about lost income. So now there is this compromise that basically makes the original decrees toothless. It's classic spineless politicking. He is doing whatever he feels he has to at any moment to quiet squeaky wheels. Handing out anti sex tourism pamphlets to unsuspecting tourists in front of cameras was clearly self serving. Daily reports of Colombian pedos continue to appear in the local media but there are no demonstrations or political speeches about them.

You misunderstand me. I am saying that if you are eating food, you will have the local bugs in your system whether you drink the water or not. I'm not saying that eating local food will "help" with water contamination. If people are worried about this (I live in MDE and SJO and drank the tap water from day one in both places), please use sustainable methods vs. Buying bottled water. Filtration, etc. You can buy water bottles with filters. I just get real tired of seeing plastic bottles everywhere.

This is the fourth time the long post has been repeated, taking up a lot of space. Lets try a little harder not to reply to the long post. You can post a comment about it without replying to it. I know you guys like it but we don't have to keep posting it again and again.

Awesome, is there less talent around Parque Lleras or still plent of girls there? I like drifting between working the talent in the clubs and outside the clubs in PL. I appreciate the information as we have a trip end of May and I was almost going to cancel due to the bad reports recently.

Ok guys, it's been a LONG time since I have written a report, but I will do my best to outline this for everyone on what I think is useful I have learned in the past 5 or so years. Also, for haters or the "I don't believe you" crowd out there. Save it, I don't come to ISG often, I won't waste time with replying to nonsense. My next trip to MDE will be from 4/28 - 5/3. If you are not an FNG and have made contributions to this board, please reach out and I'm happy to buy you a beer or share a bottle with you one night at a club.

On another note, yes, drinks are very expensive at the clubs so if you want to save money you can drink before you go, buy a bottle with 2 friends for 200, go out of the club and buy drinks next door at those mini market type liquor stores, or stick with beer. Just giving tips.
I'm positive. Clubs are staying open past 1am. I'm here now.

Was his goal to save the children or get his picture in the media? You be the judge.
