However, I think the original poster is just trying to be humorous, there is no way this can happen to him or anyone, the chance that the sun does not rise tomorrow is better than the chance that this story is real. Who spends 50 k USD on ONE working girl, does he has any idea how much money that is in Medellin. I don't speak Spanish conversationally. I only know basic words and relied heavily on Google translate.

Day 1 - Landed, customs line was long due to two planes arriving at the same time. Afterwards, I immediately got a Claro sim at a small shop in the airport. 16 k for 1 GB data, working number, and 7 service days. I paid a little more at the airport but I wanted to get this crucial step out of the way. I ended up using 265 MB with Google maps, Chrome, WhatsApp, and Uber. My Airbnb (San Peter) had excellent WiFi for backing up touristy photos and videos online.

I hopped on the 10 k bus to Centro which does go through the new tunnel. Sit on the right side for the best views. Arriving in Centro, I walked off the bus and was hit with the grittiness of the environment. I wasn't used to it. But, one week later, I left on that same bus back to the airport, and the area felt normal to me. As another poster pointed out, these are just normal people living their daily lives.

I walked through Plaza Botero and down Carrera 52 towards the San Antonio station. I saw several working girls but I just wanted to check-in and get settled. The metro to Estadio was packed but efficient...

I am planning a short trip back to Medellin next month and I was wondering if anyone could offer their thoughts on purchasing and taking tussi with a working girl?
