As to your three issues: There are plenty of places you can stay that are chica friendly. You need to decide the area and the type of accommodation. I suggest some place close to Parque Lleras or in Laureles.
Second, my recommendation is to find an apartment building that has 24-hour security and a safe in the apartment. During more than 30 trips to Medellin, I haven't had any problems.
Third, a lot depends on where you enter the US. I have Global Entry. The agents tell me "welcome home" and don't ask any questions. I am single and always travel alone. "Vacation" is a perfectly legitimate reason to go to Medellin. Don't be evasive or untruthful with an agent.

1. Food / Service was terrible.
2. Rained everyday I was there.
3. Way too much Fake / Big Asses for me. No issue with fake tits.
4. Girls are extremely Jealous / Insecure.
If I was going to go back to Colombia, I would only go to Bogota, but there are much better destinations. However much better then Kiev / Rio. If you love Big Asses, then you might like MDE, but definitely not for me.

Posts: 586I agree. Guys should go elsewhere. It is so expensive with such a shitty exchance rate. It is super dangerous. Even to leave the airport. The Colombians are so rude to gringos and will rip you off every time. The chicas are fat, ugly, and entitled. This is hell. I am doing my penance by being here. Bless me Father for I have sinned.

I have carried up to 5 K USD worth of Colombian pesos into the country. I have not had any issues. Obviously, don't keep it all in one place, if your room has a locker, put it there. Hide it in different places. Only take what you might need and just a bit more when going out, so you will limit your losses in case of theft it robbery.
US customs, depends on which port of entry. Only Miami, I was asked some questions, like reason for travel, how much money I am bringing in, any agricultural products etc. I tell them, I went on vacation, I go there to do some hiking, nature, enjoy the weather etc. Beyond that, no big deal.

How's it going guys.
Will be in mde next week, first time there tho been to Brazil a dozen or so times.
Used the search function but no exact answer came up, how frequent are taxis in el centro at night?
After hitting the casas and eating in centro, I'll be hitting conejitas and barra ejecutiva at dark for a few rounds.
Problem is I don't want to carry a phone with me, (I write casa addresses on paper) so I won't have access to cabify or uber.
Do the strip clubs have taxis waiting on the street most of the night?
Or worst case I can walk over to hotel nutibara and hail a cab back to my place in Laureles from there.
(Thanks a million to Worldtraveler for your mde map and everyone here for your invaluable reporte).

Medellin is fun for a few days, but not worth the price of hotels, travel, rude Colombians, language issues, safety concerns, etc. Also came down sick after just a few days of mongering. It's not a secret paradise as some have made it out to be. Or is it? Only one way to find for those who have not been hmhm. Good luck to all.

Had a girl over from Tinder. Looks wise she was a 8/9, for me. Pretty face, tight gymnast type body, perfect rear end and standard bolt ONS. A shame she wants to ruin her cola by making it bigger. Great conversation, very sweet, and sex was great. I have no doubt some of you know her. She was telling me about her, a wife and five dudes while the husband watched. Great story LOL. You can't make this stuff up. 200 k and worth every centavo for me.
BTW. All of my domicilios have been on time or early, knock on wood, I've been lucky so far.

I first need to thank everyone for the vast amount of intel on this board. It has been phenomenal to aid in my planning. I'm a veteran of Tijuana and a return there is my fallback plan if I don't pull the trigger on Colombia. I think I'm down to 3 issues to resolve in my head to feel comfortable going to Medellin. I admit to overthinking things far too often, but, that's just how I'm wired. I am interested in everyone's input.
First, finding a chica friendly place to stay. I feel comfortable I'll overcome this with a little more research as I get closer to my trip.
Second, for good reason (primarily my day job), using an ATM in Colombia is not an option. So I will be carrying a large amount of cash into Colombia. Certainly, nothing near an amount I would need to declare. And honestly, I've walked through some of the worst areas of Tijuana with amounts like this. Any reason I should be more concerned in Medellin?
Third, how difficult are customs officials when returning to the US? I do frequently go to Mexico, which always adds a few questions with CBP. Going to Medellin, as a single male, feels like another flag going up. I don't bring back anything illegal. I just hate the third degree. And truth be told, I don't have a better excuse than "vacation". Any horror stories or suggestions with immigration?
Thanks in advance.
