Hey dudes, I'm on the ground in Laureles. I will post in a few days about my exploits! Just wondering if anyone knows motels in this area where non-colombians are allowed, because they're not in Sapphire suites and Esplendor 70. They are in Suite 44 (Calle 44#70 a-05), but at 50 k pesos for a few hours seems a bit steep!? So if anyone knows others in the Laureles area at better rates, please let me know. Cheers for now.

Some only allow Colombians? That seems odd but is is good to know. I am interested in knowing where I won't be welcome. Arriving Friday afternoon for a month stay.

I'm quite intrigue about El Centro, but last couple time that I was there. I feel kinda lost in Plaza Botero, so many things going on everywhere LOL. I did see some obvious working girls but they're such fuglies that I don't want to session with. Beauty is really in the eye of the beholder. When I walk the streets of NYC I am more wowed by US girls than I am by Paisas when I walk the streets of Medellin. Don't get me wrong I like Colombian girls. If US hookers charged the same as Colombian chicas no way would I leave the US.

How long will you be in Medellin? I had to return to LOS Angeles for some business but as soon as I am done I get back to my home in Medellin and like you will spend countless hours in centro.

I can go on and on and on about Centro. Every day I find something new that I like, even if it is not available (some girls really do not work and will not budge, it doesn't matter how many pesos you have). Tonight I sessioned a White Vennie with the biggest Asset you could imagine on a white girl. I sessioned her the previous night and was not happy, but she took my number and decided that she would make it up to me and boy did she ever. I meet guys every day that come to Centro and they have in their mind that the maximum amount of pesos they will spend is 30-40 mil. You can find a girl for that and you can get your rocks off for that amount, but trust me, you won't get the service that you are looking for or thank that you are receiving from the high price girls of Poblado and Park lleras.

Somewhere out there is a post I wrote about managing your expectations. In my obviously biased opinion that's the key to making the most of your trip.

The first thing is to have realistic expectations. If you go to McDonald's expecting the finest filet mignon you're going to be disappointed. If you're going to McDonald's you should be looking for the stuff you find at McDonald's.

If you're going to any spot in El Centro, like Parque Botero, expecting a swarm of beauty queens, you're going to be disappointed. Why would all the hottest girls be walking around offering themselves for the lowest price to the people with the least amount of money? Sure you can find 7's and the occasional 8, but you'll have to search for them.

Fortunately, the average Colombian girl looks better and takes better care of herself than the average US girl. This means you should be able to find what you're looking for, if you put in the effort.

Read the forum. PolloNegro and Surfer500 both write frequently about the girls in El Centro. There's also reports from TheTallMan, Nounce and others. They may not all agree on everything, but any of them can help you have reasonable expectations..

These happened in the last couple of days.

Someone tapped my shoulder around noon in Plaza Botero. I turned around to see a nervous pretty women speaking to me in Spanish. She showed me a photo of her and a man on her phone. I think she was asking if I knew the man. I said no, she showed me more photos and used the translator on her phone to communicate with me. The problem was that there were misspelled words, like 'a' is spelled as 'ah', so the translator did not work. I managed to grasp what she was saying. I asked if she was telling me that she loves the man but the man is angry at her. She said yes. I said why didn't you talk to him? She said he wouldn't talk to her. The suddenly she ran away like she saw a ghost. Nothing on me was stolen.

I saw a man help out a girl and the girl was in tear after accepting the gift. I have nothing but respect for this person.

I ate at the street food carts at the edge of Plaza Botero often. I heard a woman yelling as I was walking toward the coffee cart after dinner. I turned around and it was the food cart owner. I thought I did not pay her for dinner so I walked back to figure out what was it about. She pointed a finger at herself saying "yo" and then to me "te quires". I knew what it meant literally but did not get it and was confused by the use of quires, instead of quiero. A customer who knew some English told me "She love you". Everybody burst into laughter.

Last night, a tall slim tran with small boobs walked by and said she was going to have a piece of my 'pene'.

How many mongers will stay in so called safe areas & pay up to $40-$50 usd, but won't spend $14 usd on a short term hotel to date a hottie. To each their own, but if you can't blow $50 mil /$14 usd on a short term hotel, Centro is where you should be, it amazes me how mongers are on a budget in a country that's on a budget. Maybe its time to be honest with self and go to areas that are within your budget. I'm not throwing shade, I'm speaking respectfully and honestly. Same goes for girls, if you can't spend $50 mil on a hottie, why monger? I ask myself this question every day while I'm here in Medellin. I have not figured it out yet. Pollo negro is out!

Hows the overall quality in Parque Botero now? Are there many solid 8's running around? I kinda have this feeling like it will be a bunch of fuglies and such but I hope I am really wrong. Luckily there's strip clubs in the center anyway and sounds like a good time. I will finally be checking it out first hand after new years to see what's all the fuss.

Suite 44 is about the cheapest in Laureles. You may find some place where you'll save 5 k, but that's about it. El Centro and Mayorista have rooms for under 20 k, but you'll spend the savings on taxis. However, if you're making multiple daily visits to motels, Suite 44 may offer you a daily rate. Some of the love motels have an overnight rate, especially during the week.

I ended up renting an AirBnB apartment, bought an unlocked Samsung phone and a 12 L portable safe for my valuables, a supply of my favorite condoms, personal lube, wipes and a bullet vibrator. I am aware of what Seeking Arrangements, but would not of made the connection to finding prepagos in Colombia, as I think of the girls in the US who are looking for a lavish lifestyle from their sugar daddy, I would have assumed the same for Colombia.
