I think you mean Mayorista. And its not in el Centro. Its pretty much west directly west of el poblado. You can definitely pick up chicks in Parque LLeras. At least you could when I was last there about 2 or 3 years ago. Someone else whose been there more recently might have more insight into recent changes.

I've been to MDE a few times but never really went outside of mansion except for the normal new life and casa run. I did go to (MYA RISTA) I'm pretty sure I am spelling that wrong. That had a very Tijuana feel to it. Is Mya Rista in el Centro? Or are these two separate parts? This trip I plan to venture out more. I do like to go eat and hang in Parque Llares but I never picked up a chick there. Is that a good spot or should I just head to Central? Also, If I venture down to Central, what is a good starting point there?

What time did you go to Barra & would a tourist feel safe using uber to & from the strip club at night even though it's in El Centro? I'm really a night owl & love strip clubs but those Luna beer prices sound ridiculous.

It all depends on the tourist. I've seen tourists who get nervous walking around Laureles in the middle of the afternoon.

I took an Uber to Barra Ejecutiva at about 11 pm. Had him drop me off a block away and walked down. Then I hung around outside for 25 minutes waiting for another guy to show up. I felt safe. At around 12:30 I walked outside, joked with the doorman for a few minutes and flagged down a Taxi. I still felt safe.

There's an up-charge associated with bringing your own condom's that varies between 3,000 and 5,000 Pesos at the Casa's and even higher at the Strip Clubs. Don't know why but there just is at the Strip Clubs for some reason. I typically to delay ejaculation I wear two condoms, I typically can't feel much but can pop in less than two minutes flat. I have lived in Medellin for some time and should have posted this a while ago but better late than never.

Last Friday I went to two strip bars Barra Ejecutiva and Luna Lunera. Barra Ejecutiva is in el centro and is pretty cheap compared to clubs like fase dos. You don't pay to get in and half a bottle of rum is 80 k, not sure how much other drinks are but a small beer (called a costenita, just google it for an idea of what it looks like) and a double baileys are 15 k and 25 k when you buy them for the chicas. By comparison fase dos is 20 k to enter and 25 k for a beer for you and bottles start at around 150 k. Girls will come and talk to you in Barra Ejecutiva if you have a bottle and you can talk to a few and enjoy the girls dancing on the catwalk. Last year it was 80 k to go upstairs for half an hour but this seems to have increased to 90 k minimum with a couple of girls asking 100 k to 120 k. I like this place, its cheap and you can find a couple of really nice girls for decent prices, although it does get pretty busy and there aren't many gringos so it could be intimidating, but I like the vibe. If you want to see one outside they are all too keen to give you their whatsapp but they usually don't finish work until 4 am..

For something completely different go check out Bar Show Montijo. It's a complete dive. Tiny place downstairs with about 6 tables and a tiny bedroom in the corner. There's generally only 3 or 4 girls there. The little chica beers are 6 k and Pilsen is 3 k.

I talked a couple of guys I was with into stopping to check it out, 2 years ago. They weren't comfortable at all with the place, but it appealed to me. I went back a few times and there always seemed to be one fairly hot girl. The rest were mostly really bad.

What I did right I learned from them. What I messed up was my own fault. Here's a report of the proceedings.

Prep.

I started getting ready for this trip back in April. Read two years of ISG posts and made notes re the FB chicas who interested me. Created a Facebook page and sent out friend requests. Occasionally "liked" posts by some of the women, but didn't chat or post much. Eventually I began receiving friend requests from other Medellin chicas. There is nothing new about Barcelona. Barcelona is one of the old guard that hasn't change its name or location in more than 10 years. I last stopped in there a year or more ago.

I'm not sure if that's a backhanded compliment but your one of the few people to post photo's of the area, let alone photo's of the really grimy stuff that exists down there. You can uber to and from Maracaibo and Barra Ejecutiva no problem. Action picks up beginning 7 pm. It's a 15 minute or so walk from Plaza Botero / Veracruz if you want to check that out from 3 pm to 6 pm or so. After 3 the sun is low enough that girls aren't hiding in the shady spots and it gets dark around 6 pm, which makes it a good time to make your way to the strip bars. Grab a beer at one of the cafeterias on Maracaibo (53St) and watch the civilian girls until 7 or so. You can also watch the strip club employees arriving.
