Was there any dubious reason for their name change? I'm pondering their Packaged Real Estate Projects.

I personally know people that have had to pay penalties for violating the tourist visa due to missed flights, etc. and one that was actually not allowed back into the country for a year.

How can one spend most of the year here with a tourist visa? I thought tourist visas were limited to 6 months?

Up until earlier this month DIAN the IRS of Colombia and Migracion of Colombia did not exchange information between themselves. This month they signed a formal agreement to exchange information between the agencies to catch those not paying taxes and other things. So what I believe has happened in the past is people show up and are given a 90 day visa to stay. Then they stay a few months, leave for a while, come back and get another 90 day stay, then leave and return and before you know it have exceeded the 180 day tourist rule and perhaps immigration isn't catching it, noticing it, or tracking it somehow. This apparently will change and I would not want to be in the position of either arriving or departing Colombia and having immigration walk me over to the DIAN (Colombian IRS) office located at the Airport.

Are the cousins also open of business if they don't have many Gringos in their friendlist? Or you have to first fuck the girl and then ask her if she has any cousins who would be open for such an arrangement?

If the girl already has a bunch of gringo friends I'm probably either on her list, or I have a reason to not send her a request. When I'm adding girls, I just find the ones that interest me and send a request. Often I'm 5 or 6 layers deep, when I add someone.

It works like this:

Someone on my friend list tags someone in a photo. I like her look, so I check her profile. Then I check her friend list, find someone else and pop to her profile, repeat 3 or 4 times. That one tagged friend will likely generate 20 or more girls I'm interested in. I'll see which friends we have in common, and if I think they would be interested, I'll click.

I don't have to look for gringos anymore. It's rare to find a profile that doesn't have several friends who have friends in common with me. If I see a Colombian with 15 mutual friends, then I'm probably on the right track.

I really do hope it is not enforced, because we all know if it wasn't for the chicas most of these one bedroom Airbnbs would be empty. Actually is the first Airbnb in Medellin that I see with that "no sex tourist" label and I'm running out of the time so I might just take the chance and see.

Also I was at this apartment rent office by Park lleras in Medellin and got a business card saying "apartmentinternationl dot com" when I looked up the site it brought to me lifeafar site which I was not expecting. Apparently they are the same thing? The guy at the office told me they door has no security, so you have full responsibility. Obviously having a security has pro and cons more safety but possibly more restrictions also. The place is in the la 70 area.

Has anyone stayed with lifeafar, how are their policies regarding chicas and security at the door? And standard of the apartment or should I just go for Airbnb?

I like staying at lifeafar places, most of them have no security so you need to watch out who you bring back. Yeah theirs a sign that says no sex tourism which I have broken plenty of times ahahaha. A lot of the apartments on lifeafar are on Airbnb, and I prefer to book with lifeafar instead because they don't charge you booking fees and you can ask them to give you a deal and they'll give you like 10 percent off. I like staying in the Poblado suites (Tokyo, Paris, New York, dunes). It's right next to parque poblado and has a store and food places all around.

Loutron is the worse. Its expensive in relation to other places. They may have better looking lady but I have never heard or seen any of them give outstanding or even great service. Usually very mechanical.

So I'm sitting inside of Loutron Spa at the end of my visit writing this.

First off drinks are 10 k. They charge 300 k for one hour for one time. I should have talked to the chick to make sure there was no surprise charge like kissing. I chose Daniela, she was hot it's just it wasn't the best experience. No massage, felt rushed, and honestly I won't be coming back to this place. Not worth the money. I'll see new life tomorrow, but first Fase Dos or La Isla tonight. I'm also planning to walk around I feel like I will get a lot better rates and service by finding someone.

So after my shitty time at Loutron I had an amazing time. My cab driver was awesome and took me all around Medellin, took me to get some party favors, showed me Parque Lleras by car, and connected me with 90 chicks. 1 was my type. After my awesome cab ride my driver connects me with that shit. I'll be meeting with her tonight. Last night after such I went back to my airbnb, they want to make sure no [CodeWord902] prostitution by the way. So I head out to dominos right in front of my apartment and then head to the supermarket get some light snacks and grub. That night I went to Fase dos, this place looked fun but honestly waste of money. There is definitely talent there, but imagine cover I think 10 k, 20 k a beer, every time girls get off stage they go around and you tip them (mostly they dance in trio) and then private dance in the club AKA VIP is 300 k for an hour, or go next door for 45 minutes in hotel for 190 k. I passed on both as I didn't want another short rushed session. It's been raining here since I got in so I left Fase dos, went to Parque Lleras and checked around. Not much, so I went to Gusto. If you want to find prepago chicks, this is your club. I hung out for a bit saw maybe one chick that was a solid 10, but for a Wednesday I didn't expect much. Eventually met this Venezuelan and we hooked up for the night. Going to catch up on a little bit of sleep, relax. Tonight I got a date with that other chick and going to catch the warriors game.

Guys be careful in taxis here. Also a friend had a knife pulled on him in the tranny / crackhead Veracruz area late at night.

Correct no cedula yet, another year so spending most of each year here. I can hardly imagine what it will be like when I am here full time.

I'm not sure of your exact situation, but it's possible you're going to have an issue. If you're spending most of the year in Colombia (more than the 180 days allowed per calendar year without a visa), some type of visa is required. Once the visa is granted you have 15 days from the date of the visa being granted (or 15 days from your next entry to Colombia, if you received the visa from a Colombian Consulate) to apply for a Cedula Extranjera, which is good for the duration of the visa. You can get the Cedula from any Immigration office. Can't remember the cost, but it was an easy process. You will need to visit a clinic first to get a blood type certificate. Once the application is complete, return in about 10 days to pick up the card.

If you're staying beyond 180 days without a visa you can be charged a fine for every day beyond 180 and can also be blocked from returning. If you're staying on a visa without a Cedula, you can have your visa revoked and be blocked from returning.
