Cool. Whenever someone posts a chick's fb and I click on it, I see that we have at least 5 male friends in common. Why is everyone running around fucking the same few fb chicks when there are tons of women from other sites to be had for even cheaper? I don't get what makes fb so special.

Same thing in a couple of groups I am in. Guys post about the same 7 chicks that are in the corner of just 1 of the clubs when there are 100 clubs and tens of thousands of hookers around here in Pattaya.

Because many guys believe they are improving their chance of a good time if they follow the same path everyone else is on. It's why the Mansion is never hurting for customers. It's why, whenever someone mentions one of the local pimps, 50 guys want contact info. It's why any girl who gets a good review generates a new thread of people wanting to see her.

What makes FB so special depends on the person. Others prefer to find girls off the street, in the clubs or at regular bars and restaurants. Are any of those methods more special than FB?

For me, there's a few reasons. First, it's 1 stop shopping. If I want someone now (meaning I'm ready to wait 2-3 hours beginning now), I can open messenger, see who is online, select one that interests me and 5 minutes later she's on her way, at least she'll claim to be on the way. To get the same selection, I would need to hit at least 5 different strip clubs, or 12 different casas.

FB also gives me more information about the girls. It's easy to get a more detailed view of the person. Is she a party animal? Does she have a gringo sugar daddy? Is she in a relationship? How many kids? Is she really a student, or does she really have a day job?

Maybe the best thing about FB is it connects you to the entire web of interrelated contacts. At any time I can go to FB and within 15 minutes I can find at least 50 new possible girls. I can find friends, cousins, sisters and even mothers of the girls. It takes some time to get a good list built up, but once it's built, it snowballs.

It might cost a little more, but not much more. Get a street girl and spend 30-40 k for 20 minutes. Go to a casa and spend 50 k for 30 minutes plus 20 k for round trip taxi. Get a FB girl and spend 150-200 k for 2 hours, plus 20 k for taxi.

Instead of WG from photoprepagos, I should have said FB chicas. I am talking to 50 FB chicas on my messenger. Out of these 50 most of them are ok with for 150 k+taxi. Very few ask 200 k+taxi. Maybe my opening should be 100 k+taxi seeing that most of them are accepting my 150 k offer but I didn't bother.

I am not talking about downtown either. In 2 seconds I randomly pulled one up for 110,000 and some for 130,000. Shit, I even see a 75,000! I did notice many for 150,000 though. But of the ones that have prices listed I saw no 200,000s. And again, these rates can always be negotiated when you are ready to do business. So I am just wondering how he came up with declaring those figures he named as standard.

I'll be in Medellin this week. I got a good sense of pretty much everything from this thread. From pricing, to casas, to dance clubs, gentlemen clubs, everything. I will say that while pricing seems to be a debate, most girls on photo prepagos are asking much more than what some of you have indicated. This is where I want to ask for some last minute advice. I will be staying in Parque Lleras. So I want to go out and find the girls, maybe work it out then. Where would you recommend to check out or walk around (restaurant nearby so I can google) so I can have some good luck. Also I will be trying to catch the warriors vs raptors game this Thursday so if anyone has any place to checkout for the game I would really appreciate. I will be going to Cartagena and will be there for games 2 and 3.

Photoprepagos listing are mostly agency and they will inevitably have their cut. So if you see 220 k, I doubt the girl is getting more than 150 k of that. I have not used the agencies but perhaps people with that experience can weigh in on it. It may not be a bad way to meet the talent however. As to Parque Lleras, forget it, you are not finding action there for less than 250-300 K in my assessment and it won't necessarily be top shelf either. If you want to go to the rip off club up the elevator and pay silly money then you can.

If you have not done the work of building up your FB contacts, it can still be done within a week, but otherwise the upper end casas or fase dos are your best bet. Fase dos will nearly always have a few good ones. Downtown casas can't be beat price wise but rooms are dirty and safety can be an issue occasionally. For me the tradeoffs are not worth it. If you go my best advise is to stay where people are, fewer people and more isolated a street, the more danger you are in as a gringo. So when people say downtown is dangerous, that is a blanket statement. I don't often see solid safety recommendations.
I know it has been said before but if you got no language, no game, no looks etc. Your best bet is probably the mansion where things are served up buffet style. But there is day to day variation. Local guides can also be good sources but they will have their cut, even so, it could be a way to build your contact book. Safety is an issue there, but with good common sense precautions mentioned all over this board, you can mitigate the risk.

In general Medellin and Colombia works out better for the frequent visitors and those living there compared to the one and done visitor. Heck I think most of the guys who have been going for years, probably have no reason to be reading on this board. Their contacts are so good and deep that they need not go far beyond them. Very few of them share however.

I have been going to Medellin now just about every 2 months for a week or so. I don't frequent Parque Lleras but I go even less to El Centro if at all. I rely on my facebook connections which works fine with me.

A lot of tourists stay in Parque Lleras. Expect to pay tourist prices. Centro (downtown) is more real but also more dangerous. Medellin is mostly a casa scene. Use the casa map but keep in mind some of the casas are just filthy.

Combo, about an hour after I responded to this post yesterday evening I figured what the hell go check it out, so 30 minutes later (Sunday night about 9 PM) I drove those blocks around Cr 44 and CL 44 and although this area does have some possibilities the main issue is that this area is filled with residential apartments and houses which is why the "calf area" just 4 blocks away is so much more attractive to the street walkers as it is located in a commercial / industrial area, when the sun goes down and the businesses (ie car mechanic shops and metal fabrication and car dealerships) roll down their metal doors shut the complete area is transformed into a very sketchy area ripe for late night fun.

After I finished my "tour" I headed to the calf area and found my 18 yo cutie that spent the night with me last week, she was more than ready and willing to hope in my car. She was looking so cute wearing those short cut-off jeans and ambercrombie and fitch halter top so I scoped her up and off to the love motel 8 minutes away.

Nice. I will have to check out your area next visit. Although, I don't have the luxury of having my own car in MDE. I've had a taxi driver take me around some areas, including Niquitao, late at night with some luck. Also a bit closer to San Diego and some areas around Centro. I'm generally more up-market (I actually like Poblado as well as Laureles), but sometimes it's a thrill to check out the creepier areas! With patience, it can be rewarding.

I don't know the technical boundaries, but I'd guess Cra 44 and CL 44 and a bit up the hill from there. Cuidado.

Thanks, yes I know the area a little as it is just a stone throw away from the calf area, it is on San Juan but up the hill like you mention, I will check it out this week and see what I find. Gawd I am turning into a pervert, hehehe.

I would not recommend staying in Laureles for your entire trip. Laureles is very nice, and a lot of the gringos you will see there live there with some tourists staying there as well. I suspect you will get board there after a few days and would recommend you spend some of your time near Parque Lleras. I personally don't like it there, however there are some very nice surrounding barrios such as Provenza which is the next block up the hill from Parque Lleras. A very upscale area with lots of bars and restaurants frequented by young wealthy Colombians and a mixture of gringos who live in the surrounding areas. Additionally there are other barrios you can easily walk to with lots of very good restaurants in the Patio Bonito, Astorga, La Linde and Manilla barrios all within a ten minute radius of Parque Lleras. The cost of food and drink in the restaurants immediately around Parque Lleras will not be significantly more than most of the places in Laureles, however there are some very upscale restaurants in the surrounding areas I mentioned which are expensive. As far as women in Parque Lleras, they will be out later in the evenings walking around the area and if your older with gray hair and seem to be a gringo you may be approached by them.

Now this begs the question. Do I fly to Bogota for a few days instead? Or save it for the next trip? This is my first time to Colombia. Seasoned monger with decent Spanish skills.

I have 11 nights. Was going to do only Medellín but maybe I sneak away to Bogota for a few days?

I don't know. I've never seen the point in just getting my feet massaged. Full body massages run from 40-70 k for 1 hour. Anything extra, if offered would be extra charge.
