I'm a solo monger (very anti social, recluse, hermit, whatever you want to call it), how is the mongering scene like in Park Lleras; are there casas, strip clubs, massage parlours there & short time hotels there? Also what are the prices?

Answer is no to all your questions. There are freelancers around the park later at night (usually after 10 pm). A majority are below average in looks. Because of so much rain at night recently, free are out walking.

I'm mostly only into good massages with spectacular endings. Secret and Oriental Spa let me down sorely. Both were comparatively expensive 90.000 - 120.000 for an hour with mediocre women. Too much for what I got. I'm willing to go most anywhere in Medellin that's relatively safe. Unfortunately, that may leave out El Centro during the week since. I go to language school and don't get out until 4. I don't want to visit El Centro at night, at least until I know it better.

I would not recommend staying in Laureles for your entire trip. Laureles is very nice, and a lot of the gringos you will see there live there with some tourists staying there as well. I suspect you will get board there after a few days and would recommend you spend some of your time near Parque Lleras. I personally don't like it there, however there are some very nice surrounding barrios such as Provenza which is the next block up the hill from Parque Lleras. A very upscale area with lots of bars and restaurants frequented by young wealthy Colombians and a mixture of gringos who live in the surrounding areas. Additionally there are other barrios you can easily walk to with lots of very good restaurants in the Patio Bonito, Astorga, La Linde and Manilla barrios all within a ten minute radius of Parque Lleras. The cost of food and drink in the restaurants immediately around Parque Lleras will not be significantly more than most of the places in Laureles, however there are some very upscale restaurants in the surrounding areas I mentioned which are expensive. As far as women in Parque Lleras, they will be out later in the evenings walking around the area and if your older with gray hair and seem to be a gringo you may be approached by them. They will be easy to spot and typically will be closer to thirty versus twenty and mostly well dressed. Typically in the bars immediately surrounding Parque LLeras you will also see a lots of Colombian women having drinks with their girlfriends. If your good looking, have game, and are fluent in Spanish you may score. Again I don't like the Parque Lleras vibe, however I do eat in the upscale restaurants in the barrios I mentioned with friends because the food is good but don't monger there as the opportunities aren't worth it. You still may want to consider a few days in El Centro but it will be way different than Laureles or Parque LLeras and way cheaper. Have a good time!

Massage at Oriental Spa kind of places is pretty bad. So if you want a good massage. Find a real massage place. Don't mix massage and mongering.

I would suggest hitting up the regular spas. You'll at least get the good massage and I imagine you can find one or two masseuses who are willing to offer a handshake for a reasonable propina. Might have to hit a few of them to find a winner.

Hi, Difficult to answer your question as I don't know what your likes and dislikes are? Most guys here prefer to stay in el centro, or Parque Llerars / Poblado or Laureles. So it is a personal choice. I stay in Laureles as it is only a 12 minute ride to Parque Lleras if I get the urge to go or if I am going to meet someone there. El Centro is not for everyone, but that is only my opinion.

It is also a place where people can reconnect to the prices of home. It is why the places slightly off the beaten track that cater to locals and charge local prices (E. G. Mondongos) are always packed to the gills, but you can always get a table at Basilica / Al Rojo.

Read the forum, the information is accurate and up to date. The prices listed may be a few pesos lower than now but nothing significant.

If anyone has any recent experience visiting casas like new life, energy, Loutron, the popular and good ones, please share experience. Visiting this week and want some honest and recent input of where the better service is to be had. I'll also update you all when I arrive later this week.

I have a Question regarding mileroticos and photoprepagos. Some of the ads sound like they're FBSM not Full Service and I recall the BP and craigslist days when FBSM providers would have ambiguous ads that sounded like they were FS when they actually weren't. You could usually screen for this by their hhr and HR pricing. What got me suspicious is that the 60 and 90 mil "special" ladies are just as hot as the ones who are quoting 180 mil but many don't mention "vaginal relaciones" specifically, so I'm wondering if not everyone is providing sex and if that means I have to actively screen for it. I'm not a BJ guy so I could care less about CBJ or BBBJ, but full service is non-negotiable for me. Before my next trip, I read info here. So now I have some knowledge about the prices in Medellin.

Also I talk with few girls in photoprepagos.

Average prices 160-200 milcop. The best (in my opinion) 200-30 for 1 hour.

I prefer Laureles over Parque Lleras. Plenty of places to listen to music and drink, Prices much cheaper. Parque lleras is a sex tourist park where all the young colombianas try to gouch unsuspecting touristas. Fun to see it and visit but I prefer Laureles.
