Clubs in el centro Medellin like barra ejecutiva competes with Santa's Fe's Troya / fiebre (def more in Santa Fe) with similar costs for drinks and girls.
So it's El Centro Medellin Vs Santa Fe Bogota = They will compete hard in terms of cost and street girls availability and clubs.
Gusto and other semi upscale clubs in Medellin cannot be compared to anything in Bogota, since there's no Gringo central area like El Poblado Medellin. But if you need to visit upscale clubs in Bogota, there are many and they're just spread out especially north (Chapinero, Zona G etc), where you will pay easily $150-$500 usd hourly plus club fee to take out. Way more upscale and ridiculously expensive than Medellin.
But honestly many gringos and old skool mongers prefer Bog since it's low key, rarely any gringo or weekend warriors in sight since those fools don't know how to navigate Bogota, it's a huge city, which I also like. In Bogota you have to worry less about seeing yourself in a youtube video like you will in El Poblado LOL.
Once you take away the gringo avail effect from any city, prices are similar, so no real inflation. The price diff you see is just Stupid gringos being taken advantage of by smart hawkers everywhere. That is all.

Posts: 162Inflation of BOG vs MDE?
Just had my 1st trip to COL in BOG which was awesome and of course have my eyes set on MDE, CAR. Is it generally true that club girls in MDE cost more than BOG? While I can't find consistent rates factoring in time, I'm reading that more often MDE will have girls quoting $150, $200+ for sessions. My 2 Santa Fe / BOG visits I was reliably getting quotes for 90 K-110 K ($26 max) for 20 min sessions, so $80 an hour. And I'm pretty stingy on only conventionally attractive girls (fit or enhanced), so it wasn't the street urchins. They didn't have the immaculate super model looks, but these were from legit 8's 9's Even the Eroticas Bogotas site, which does MDE girls too, was around 330 K per hour so near $100/ HR adding in some extras.
Is there truly inflation in MDE vs BOG? Would make sense from posts I see about the gringos in MDE, while in BOG I saw zero foreigners. Plus Santa Fe / BOG can be very sketchy and from YouTube videos it seems the club areas of Poblado like Gusto Isla are a little safer and more "luxury". Planning my next trip, so while MDE seems worth at least 1 gamble, BOG is far easier to get to for a short 3 day trip as I'm able to get a direct flight, vs always losing 1 day and stress for connections in SAm for MDE.

I'm glad I left because I would of went stir crazy. I returned before the vaccines came out in November and it was totally crazy pussy wise as you describe.
Conceptually speaking for all the new comers here, meaning post pandemic guys, imagine all the pussy available with few foreign and local clients.
The locals at this time were very cash poor with no disposable income being shut out of work, so Centro was like being at a Dollar store.
A buyers market for sure, but that changed rapidly when Colombia was wide open, and SEA and the rest of the World was shut down and mongers from all over the World started showing up here in droves.
This is the worst change in my opinion as to what has happened here.
Albeit Medellin was getting increased monger attention before the Pandemic, if there had been no Pandemic, there would be a lot less mongers here today.
And for all the new mongers showing up here, and seeing how inexpensive it is, and how good it can be, a lot of them aren't going back to SEA, and I don't blame them, albeit I always enjoyed going there.

Are there any groups (discord, here, FB, etc) for planning on meeting up for drinks?
I'll be engaging in my 3rd tour. Always been solo, but would like to meet people this time. I'm 25 and work remotely.

So, a Tinder hit. Age listed as 21. Asked me for 400,000 COP. I asked if she was special. She sent me a "question mark". I told her that was a lot. She said: "Ok, Fue un gusto". End of conversation.

Hey fellas!
Its been about 5 years since my last trip to Medellin. I was planning a post-Covid return. Been reading the forum a bit.
I don't see any mention of the Medellin Mansion anymore. Is it still operating? IF so, has it changed in some way? Back in the day, at least a third of the discussion on the Medellin forum was about the Mansion.
I realize that this question may come off as clueless if its old news. But I love that place. I hope it didn't close.
Thanks in advance!

Posts: 3950The pandemic era itself was not so bad really. My major regret was having spent more time than is ideal reading the Blakman / Slapshot back and forth. Just kidding, that was good fun too. I can remember laughing about guys having a go at them and the rest of us who were here for everything from spending too little or too much, spreading coronavirus, and even being asked to prove we were really here. These days, I have more than enough fun that I don't spend much time reminiscing about past glory. I've had plenty of great times here going back to the days of the 1800 pesos to the USD and I look forward to lots more good times in the years to come.
