Hi all,

Looking for tips on cell phone and wallet security. I have an older iPhone with Sprint service so I have free international roaming, and I of course plan to try to keep my phone in my left front pocket and not use it too much, and keep my wallet in my front right. Do you all recommend getting another cheap cell phone or a special wallet of some kind? Also, with so many pesos to a dollar, how do you deal with having so many bills in cash?

Thanks, but are you making a general point about internet chicas, or about Medellin in particular? Because as a general point it's just nonsense. An independent chica working privately is much less likely to give a mechanical service than a hardened one working in a club. It's in her interest to give a good service, so that you repeat and also to avoid any bad reviews. Plus if you check her number first on google, you can usually see their reviews online, it's not difficult. If I check a chicas number and it comes back listing many women on the same number, I just move onto the next one, regardless of how gorgeous she is!

I'm already chatting to many on WhatsApp and asking about prices for additional services, so that they'll be in my phone when I land. I'm reading a lot here about the prices having gone through the roof in Medellin for chicas, however online on sites like mileroticos I've seen quite a few chicas I like the look of offering an hour for anything between say 60 k and 120 k an hour, plus maybe 20 k per extra.

So have I just got lowbrow taste in chicas, or are these chicas likely to upsell a lot once you're with them in person? Just asking because I'm planning on coming soon, and as I see things online, prices seem pretty reasonable to me!

How's the weather in June/July. I was in Bogota which is notoriously rainy, however I found it to be more showers that pass, then you get some sun too. I wasn't caught in the rain once in 12 days. Is it similar in Medellin (but just warmer) or can it be grey and rainy all day? Because that's what you would think just looking online.

Too much talk about what everyone is paying and not enough reports.

This was about a few months ago.

Went to Tantra massage, great experience. The guy working was very nice, offered water when I came in. Told me to go sit upstairs and the girls came one by one. I'm planning on coming down to Medellin in mid June. Was in Bogota, Santa Marta and Cartagena in Feb. and March. Anyway, a couple of questions for which I guess I will get slaughtered!

How busy is it there from mid June to late July ? I know it's not high season for the latin American tourists, but maybe there is a big influx of those from the northern hemisphere then, as it's our peak vacation time. But maybe most don't stray as far as Colombia? Never been there then, so wouldn't know. And if it's busier, I guess accomodation prices go up then too?

Definitely is harder to find them at casas and strip clubs. But they are still there. I find them on facebook. The first clue is that they are not friends with a bunch of gringos or a bunch of putas.
