What is some good advice about being safe and preventing being drugged by your date? I'm seeing a lot of people talk about this and want to take all precautions.

I took the mother / daughter combo to a clinic to have a health check, neither had any diseases and were both HIV negative, both are nice looking chics, really nice looking chics to be around Centro and Vera Cruz and I could bang them both for $60 mil pesos for an hour or two every day. One thing for sure about the thread, it is clear who makes outrageous claims and who tries to justify what the spend as a rationale to self compensate that the amount was justified. 1 you either speak very limited spanish and have to date who will come to you. 2. No offense but I am not overly impressed by the pros in the pics that you have posted on here earlier. Personally I would rather pay more to fuck pros that I find more attractive.

Just my two cents on my visit to the DR, it's a black mans paradise, I don't mean this disrespectfully as they welcomed me, this tall blond gringo, and were quick to give me pointers, really a bunch of cool guys. I admired how well they got along together and partied together.

My unsolicited two cents.

Some guys will fuck a casa skank for 30 K and be happy. More power to you.

Some guys have limited time and limited skills and will over pay to bang a girl they feel is above their pay grade and class and be happy. More power to you.

Some guys enjoy the hunt, finding the diamond in the rough, seeking the treasure with the least amount of finger prints on it and be happy. More power to you.

Some guys want to wife up and be in love for a week and be happy. More power to you.

It is this variety of different style mongers that keep the game alive. Imagine how stale and mechanical the entire scene would be if everyone was seeking the same thing and paying the same price. We have an example of that, it's called a brothel and we can see how it has destroyed the game itself. We need the variety to keep the game alive and well, encourage it, don't discourage it. It's like my Dad says when I get frustrated with stupid people, son, if everyone was as smart as you, you would have no value.

As far as what people pay, there are so many factors that it would take a scientific calculator to equate. How does the girl feel about you? What do you look like, how do you dress, how do you smell, do you have game, how do you treat people, what do you want and how do you want it, just to name a few of the 100's if not 1,000's of factors. Some can get the same girl and the same service for 100 K that someone else might have to pay 400 K. Some of us even earn some free game from the same chica.

For anyone to argue that some whale splashing some extra money around will destroy or change the market is a fallacy. It is trends that change markets, not one off's. An isolated event will not cause a tsunami. Things get ruined over time, as things develop and as people and the culture change as a whole. DR and Costa Rica are great examples. It was not a few guys flashing a few hundreds that changed those games, it was the volume of mongers that descended on these places walking in each others footsteps that changed it over time. Any of us mongers in our 50's that have been doing this for 30+ years know what I mean. We have lived the changes and have changed in our habits to adjust and keep pace. At least the happy ones have, the rest just grouse and complain on threads and message boards about the good ole days instead of adapting and forging their own path in uncharted waters.

Hey I'm glad your being health conscious and being smart about it but I monger for sport fucking. If it comes down to having to be seen in public with hookers or taking them to the doctor I prefer to go back to regular dating. LOL.

I guess when I went the gringos already ruined it. Passions was already closed down by then and really had no desire to go back after seeing the talent at Classicos and the bar downstairs from there. Also went to Pico Flor and nothing.

But you would be a lot less ticked had you bargained with her for 100K or 150K versus jumping at the 400K and up that people are saying you need to pay in an economically challenged country. You have to understand where there are hot girls there are guys with $$ are going to come along and overpay to get what they want.

As far as where the locals with $$. Do the math. 90% of the entire worlds cocaine comes from this country.

I mentioned this in my review. There are locals spending a lot of money in the club.

I met two local men at La Isla. They had several millions deposit at the club, and spent freely. They had a large stack on 2000 bills on the table for tips to dancers and told me I could use it to tip girls too. They also offered to pay for everything including girls. They had a driver or guard follow me everywhere and offered me drug in the bathroom. I was thinking I might be kidnapped.

When I was about to walk thru the door after the club closed. I was pulled aside by my new friend to yield to a group of gangster looking men dresses in suit with head bandana. They turned around to exchanges some words with my friend in Spanish that I don't understand. I believe my friend was apologizing and gangster looking men had no smile and looked very serious. I wondered what would happen if my friend did not pull me back.

Here is my concern with girls who are too cheap.
For example in the States you can find $30 hookers who will bbbjcim bbfs and anything you can imagine for 30-50$$. Obviously they are drugged up or dont have much respect for their bodies or both.
Maybe she has a disease and dont give a fuck about life anymore and is willing to do whatever for any amount.
Same concept in Colombia. Most girls charge more than 100k pesos for a TLN. So the ones that are willing to accept that along with providing certain risky services would just bring a red flag to me.

Yep, that's why I always say enjoy this why it lasts. Sosua was a great place back in the day (especially before Help in Rio closed and also before the Youtube bloggers arrived on the scene). Now I cringe at the thought of going there because of the mongers there as much as the fall off in talent.

When I see guys on here asking for references and information about specific chicas, it reminds me of the Sosua type mongers. The Sheep want to do the same exact things and move in the same exact spaces.

True. And I don't gravitate towards the more expensive end of the scale. In fact, some of the better experiences I've had in various locations (Thailand, DR, Bali) have been on the lower end. However, it hurts me to say this but after two trips to Colombia I've concluded that service in Colombia is consistently mediocre. I went to Brazil last month, and it was a experience that pushed my standards up a few notches. Cheap hookers in Santa Fe or Casas in Medellin won't work for me, anymore. In fact, the only instance of poor service I encountered in Brazil was at a massage parlor in Cocacabana, where the masseur went through a hurried routine and gave a covered blow job that causes me to describe it as "Colombian level of service". To be fair, the excellent sessions I enjoyed were with Garotas de Programa. I'll need to go the prepago route next time, and make a proper Apples to Apples comparison.

And despite my disappointment with Colombia in the past, I am plotting to return soon, and take some Spanish classes. To really get around Latin America, I need to be proficient in Spanish to discover the places that are not discussed here in any detail. Colombians speak a clear, quality dialect of Spanish and there are dozens of Spanish language schools around the country that are quite cheap and easy to access, compared with other locations in Latin America. I think that will unlock a lot of opportunities, right there.

Also, Colombia appears to be a better place for dating as a foreigner from an internet perspective. I've tried all the various "Cupid" dating sites just as an experiment. Last Sunday night, I created a profile on Brazil Cupid and Colombia Cupid. While the profiles and photos of my self were identical on both profiles, I have received only minor interest from the Brazil site and dozens of hits from girls on the Colombian site. Also the girls on the Colombian site tend to be better looking, though that is not a reflection of the general population of either nation. But, I will look into having a real date with a Colombiana the next time I visit. Maybe there is a different level of Colombian service to be had.

I look for the girl next door type, not plastics. It can be scary when the war paint comes off. I have a good friend (I won't mention her name, because she is a friend). She looks great with make-up. But I have seen her with no make-up. Or after a long night of drinking. Not a pretty site. And she's still in her early 20's. And that's not the mention the work she's had on her face. Front teeth.
