Airport Taxis
Thanks for this info Sun. Have you been able to arrange a taxi with them for late night pickup like midnight or 1 AM? That's the only time I have a problem with the white taxis wanting more than the official rate because there is no line of taxis waiting for customers at that hour.

Streetwalkers in Poblado and El Centro
I just visited El Centro yesterday and now I can give you an informed opinion about the street walkers there. I did two separate walks through the streets near the church and this is what I thought. Out of the 30 or 40 girls that I saw, I thought there might be two girls that were possibilities. The majority of the girls were unattractive, old or really sleazy looking in a bad way. A fellow board member took a walk with me and he expressed his opinion that there was one girl that was a possibility. Now you just need one girl for that day so I can see that you can have fun in El Centro for a very cheap price If you can find that one girl that you like everyday.
I am now in Poblado and I've been walking around Parque Lleras. In my humble opinion, the street walkers on the whole are better looking and there are a few girls that I find attractive and would take. The bottom of the barrel that you see in El Centro or not present in Poblado. I think they understand that they would not be popular with the gringos in Poblado. When I sit in that plaza, I do have girls approach me and chat with me and ask whether I want to go with them. They are very nice about it and they were a few that were young and attractive but definitely not innocent in any way.
Just in that limited time period, I didn't see any overlap between the street walkers in El Centro and those in Poblado but I have no reason to doubt the opinion of others that there is some overlap.

You can make reservation from the official Airport taxi website or send them a message using whatsapp (+57 3137440680). Trip report. Week 1 of July
I've been reading this forum for a while in preparation to my first trip to Colombia. I think I read all the posts from this year and 2022. Thanks for all you contributions, my first week here was fire. Here is my experience, hoping my info can help out another person reading this in the future.
I am in my mid 30's, been to over 2 dozen countries (mostly European countries), speak conversational Spanish. Have mongered in Spain, Germany and Brazil.
As I have travelled a lot, I knew what I needed for this trip: burner phone, fee free ATM card and American condoms. For my past trips to Europe, I usually just pack a bag and go, but coming to South America, I have to be extra cautious. I have an iphone 14 with no sim card slot, this actually complicated things for me this time around. When I went to Brazil last year, I just pull out my sim card from my iphone 11 and put it in my old iphone 6 and that was my burner phone. Now I don't have a sim card for my old burner phone anymore. What a bummer. I also have a list of prepagos I wanted to fuck, chicas from IG, prepagos with good reviews on a Spanish forum, and several casas in centro and laureles.

Right away I knew he would do me favors for tips, which later turns out to be right and at huge advantage of me. The place when I checked in was very clean, I did have to ask for cookware but it was resolved quickly. I am on the 4th floor, no view of the mountain from the room, but on the roof the view is amazing.
After I settled in, I went to a store near poblado park to buy a sim card. 35,000 mil for 30 days, 12 gb data, Had a meal at a taco place in Manila. Then I hopped in a supermarket to buy some essentials and food. The supermarket is called Carulla, very wholefoods like, no complaints.
I forgot to mention that I had a date set up for the evening already. I messaged the chick I wanted to fuck the most a few days before I arrived. We have a dinner date and sex for 300,000 at 6 pm.
