Not at all. I only use my Schwab debit card for overseas ATM withdrawals and have not had any problems all of these years. I also use my account to send out my bills. Anytime I make a purchase in the States or abroad I use my Amex Platinum so that I can accumulate points then I just pay that big bill when it is due.

I do the similar thing. I have $ in my Schwab checking & 0 in the brokerage act. & have used only the debit card for ATM withdrawals for years now, no problems. I then use a AAdvantage card for AA miles for purchases in the states.

If you do this be careful! Now they know which room you're in and at minimum which hotel or apartment you were in. They all have boyfriends and friends and brothers and cousins etc. Etc. Etc. It would be best to throw them 20 or 40 KCOP for taxi money if you're going to close the door in their face. Otherwise you will be a gringo in a foreign country pissing somebody off. And if you don't at least throw her taxi money she will have spent some of her money for nothing. Even though she lied to you she is out her taxi money. JMHO.

Absolutely agree. I feel like a lot of people don't realize Colombians are very prideful people. It's not like going to DR or Thailand. These people are not pushovers. As to big butts, some girls certainly have them but I have had no problem finding petite either.

Service at just about every restaurant in Colombia is terrible if you are expecting US service. In the US, within seconds of walking in the door, you'll be seated with menus in hand. A few seconds later someone will show up to take your drink order. Roughly 1 minute later they'll return to take your food order. Throughout your meal they will return every 3 to 5 minutes to ask how things are, see if you want anything else and generally keep you from really enjoying your meal. This is US standard excellent service. It has one purpose; get you out of the restaurant as quick as possible. If you're willing to buy overpriced desserts or drinks fine, but every minute you sit there without spending money is lost revenue.

In Colombia that type of service is unthinkable. To interrupt someone with a mouthful of food, or cut in on someone who's talking, just to ask them if they are enjoying the meal, is incredibly rude. Yes, it means you rarely have to wait long for a drink refill, but it also means you can't simply sit back and enjoy a meal.

Getting good service in Colombia is easy. Walk in. Sit down. Raise your hand to get the attention of the waiter. Whenever you need to get the waiter's attention, raise your hand. Repeat as necessary.

Never had any problem finding sweet and petite girls either. Big butts are not my thing at all. Only a few girls had butts that were big by my standard, which is probably normal by most people's standard.

I use Schwab but you need to open a brokerage account to get the service last I checked.

Correct but you do not have to do any trading whatsoever. I have two Schwab accounts, one I have had for 8 years and the other for 3 years and have made zero trades and have about 50 dollars in each. Where you can run into a problem is if you live in a foreign country and only use the debit card attached to your Schwab checking account for ATM transactions, now they are losing money on you and will close your account. You need to use the debit card for some purchases so they can make some money, I live in the DR pretty much full time but I order from Amazon and charge those purchases to the Schwab card and when I go back to the USA I make it a point to use the cards as much as possible and have had no problems.

As far as girls if you are into big ass you will love it, if you are into more the European look, not sure if you will like it. Girls very accessible, fair prices and many times are willing to spend the night. I real do not care if they spend the night, but some guys love this.

Considering the number that get their sisters, cousins, friends and even daughters involved in their activities, it's not much of a stretch to have one or more male cousins aware of how they're making money.

Getting girls off the ad sites is always going to be a risky venture. You don't know who you're contacting. Having the person who answers the door not look like their pictures is the least that can go wrong.

For some people it seems like the easiest thing, like ordering out of the catalog. Spend some time looking at pictures, find a good one and send a message. Easy as can be. Of course for the girls, or the pimps, it's the easiest thing too. Post an add and wait for responses. You might get lucky and get a real gem, but you're going to be disappointed more than you'll be thrilled.
