Safest hours are between 10 a and 4 p, later it gets the more drunk locals you get.

On my map the top left block is Raudal, less girls but usually hotter ones, 50-80 k, lower left is the block behind the VeraCruz church, it is the busiest one, girls start at 30 k and will be very close to a short term hotel they will take you too. If they look young make sure you card them, the young ones hang out there on the corner, "Cedula por favor" (ID) Make sure they are 18+.

Lower right around Bolivar park ignore, mostly not females.

However, if the location is a little dodgy, I will look for groups of other people who are going in my direction (or towards a more populated area) and I will stay sort of close to them, without giving them the impression that I am following them.

This is good advice as I cannot imagine how someone with no Spanish skills could successfully navigate the El Centro Street scene. Perhaps this guy could carry some flash cards with translations of what he wanted such as sexo oral sin condom.

I actually saw a guy with flash cards who didn't speak any Spanish in Tijuana once and it appeared to be quite effective for him but of course El Centro is very different indeed.

I've managed to hook up with about 200 women who spoke virtually no English and I didn't speak their language. Most of them were Argentinian. I have never done the street scene. I do lots of homework (here and local foros). I know exactly where I am going, when going to privados (apartments) and what to expect, even when it's the first time there. At the clubs, I can use enough pigeon-Spanish to negotiate a deal. I learn the phrases for what I want. I don't use the websites to order room service, unless it is a specific, well-reviewed chica. I did that (order room service because of hot pictures on a pita website) once, and it was my one and only dismal failure in 15+ years. I have been introduced to a bunch of chicas by senior members of this forum (and Argentina Private) and they have all been very good. I have gone to a few clubs with senior, local members (all fluent) and that can help, too.

In Medellin right now, been here since Tuesday, I leave Saturday. I have had 3-4 girls a day. Plus I have had my girlfriend with me on every session. I guess I'm just pushing my luck? Well I took these nice pics in front of the church, in centro, with my new Galaxy S9 and no one robbed me? My girlfriend is in the pic of the church, Go figure? I have no idea which Medellin or which Centro you all are visiting, but I been banging chics since I landed. Hey Wolf, Our friend is still at the Hotel we spoke for a while. I guess the sharks can smell prey and also the killer whales when they are out and about. I have pics and numbers for anyone interested in the honeys I saw since landing Tuesday! I have nothing but love for Medellin! Pollonegro is out!

Do you know the name of the Church you took all these photos at? The photo of the building you took doesn't resemble any of the churches I've seen in Medellin. It also appears very blurry on my I phone for some reason.

Can anyone provide info (website hopefully) on how / where to catch a bus out of Medellin? Specifically looking to go to Pereira and to Bucaramanga and to Cucuta. Looking for safety, comfort, and speed in that order!

When exactly will you be traveling? If it isn't for a few weeks, pick up a copy of Lonely Planet Colombia. That book does an excellent job detailing most cities in Colombia and how to reach them. When I was in Medellin in November 2015, the busses to Guatape and Sante Fe de Antioquia left Medellin from the Terminal del Norte bus station, while the busses to Jardin left from the Terminal del Sur bus station.

A universal language indeed but your comparing apples to oranges in that El Centro in my opinion is far more dangerous than the red light districts I visited in Saigon. And as your aware besides French more English is spoken in Vietnam than in Colombia.

But that is not a church. That is the palacio. I stay at the hotel right on the side of it. I was taking a taxi back one day and told him the church. He dropped me off in front of a church down the street. I told the next taxi driver the same thing and he didn't know what church I was talking about. I showed him a picture of it and told me it was the Palacio.

It's the Rafael Uribe Uribe Palace of Culture, built in 1925 with a Belgian architect.

"The Rafael Uribe Uribe Palace was originally the official building for the Government of Antioquia, and was known as "Calibo Palace". It was under construction from the 1925 to 1937 and designed by Belgian architect Agustand Goovaerts in a Gothic Revival style."

It's free to go in by the way and has some good photo ops for any cuties you have with you.

Great pics! And congratulations on not getting robbed like most do. But that is not a church. That is the palacio. I stay at the hotel right on the side of it. I understand what very disappointed means. This bears repeating even though it's been covered many times here and elsewhere- 5, 6, 1, 8 etc. Mean different things to different people.

To be constructive, I can tell you that you will find all the girls at Fase II and Energy / Tantra / LunaLunera better dressed and some of them better looking than what you found at New Life. Let us know how you like those options.

Went to New Life today. I was very disappointed. I thought I would find 8's and 9's. I found 5's and 6's.
