you must live in Greenland, or Sudan, or Saudi Arabia, or Oman, or very few other countries. I can only imagine the difficulties you may have to access ISG from there.

For someone who is in Medellin for the first time and who doesn't speak Spanish, what are some safe areas to go to at night? I know El Poblado is safe and I know to avoid centro. Any other areas that are safe for night time mongering?

Just wondering, am I the only monger who likes proof to life and would like to know who's a good service provider even at a higher rate? I just like knowing who does what, Some days I want a 3 hole provider, some days I want a milk eater, some days I want a vaginal acrobatic. IF you come originally from USA (I am not sure actually), then I would argue that you come from a country where, whatever food you eat, whatever kind of service you are given, in any restaurant you are subject to the 18+% gratuity extortion, which at the end of the month gives waiters a tax-exempt significant additional income. Unbelievable and unacceptable for people living in most other countries. I feel angry every time I eat there.

The US minimum wage for servers is $2.13 per hour for anyone who makes $30 or more in tips per month. It's not extortion. You don't have to pay it.

It's not tax free. All tips which are charged to a credit card are reported as income. While at least some of the income isn't being taxed, it shouldn't matter to you. You don't live there.

In most other countries servers are paid a reasonable wage that is sufficient to support a family. The US hasn't figured out the advantages of that yet.

Yeah that was me, and I said that's what it would cost to have a table on the floor, you can get out the door for less if you sit at the bar and have a beer, 10 k cover+190 k girl + beer. The downtown strip clubs are much cheaper. 80 k girl + 10 k beer.

You asked for Casa's at night, the only 2 I know of open late are Linda Chicas which is expensive and seems to be a pain to deal with sometimes and Yakusa which is cheap. Both are downtown. Yakusa only has a few girls on at a time though and it is hit or miss if they have any cute ones on and their rooms suck. I had to learn not to entertain the one's who knew all and showed nothing. Its OK to tell us how cheap you can be and how the newbies are ruining Medellin. What that tells me it this, you're on a fixed income and some of us came to the table with a boatload of chips, we came to gamble not penny pinch. I do. And that is why when I go to a country where tipping is not the norm, I take full advantage of it! I always do what the locals do. Like when eating the free breakfast at a hotel. Do I see the local people leave a tip on the table when they get up and walk out? No. Then I don't leave one either.
