It doesn't matter which barrio a girl comes from. Girls are not paid based on where they live or grew up, this is totally irrelevant. What matters is where they work (=sell pussy), what audience they target, and if they are smart enough to go where the money is. I suggest to everybody to stay away from Medellin. I was robbed $7 k and my friend $20 k (even tough I explained him all safety tips) Lots of gangs are fishing American tourists and spiking your drinks or blowing something to your face or even putting on something to their tits and after you lick or smell you wake up with an empty bank account after 48 hours. If you are married, your wife can go crazy. You end up into police station. They are doing a big nothing for you. There is no way to escape from this danger. They are using the well-known apps and beautiful girls. If you don't drink anything they will blow to your face or put something on their tits and you will sleep like a baby min 36 hours. Then they are professional about hacking phones and emptying your all accounts, cash apps etc.

I am not sure if you are aware of the many macro and micro economic issues that are affecting the pricing of housing in general. Inflation, weakness in the COP and demand. This is not due to greedy landlords or investors. It is being generated by government policies and the printing to fiat currency in excess that means nothing. Landlords and investors are only reacting to the market conditions that they find themselves in. The only thing the might be attributed to gringos / digital nomads is demand (and that is still a big if). If you can't afford to live where you want to live work harder. If you can't afford to travel, work harder and save money longer. Don't blame it on others!

After my first trip to Medellin I have nothing but good things to say about the place. Of course I don't live in the past. I operate under the market conditions that exist in the present. As a professional investor in real estate and businesses, I know of what I speak.

I'm not sure if you aware but pricing Airbnb and housing in general in Medellin has seen major increases since 2020. So much so that it is creating a housing problem for the locals. It's well documented and not due to an "algorithm". Units that were $40 a night are now $100. Apartments that were 2. 5 mill are now 5 mil. A lot of this is due to greedy landlords and investors but it all continues to exacerbate the housing issue. The apartment issue is a very contentious one right and sore spot for Colombians because they attribute it to gringos / digital nomads moving in.

Even some of the expats I know are being pushed out of the more desirable neighborhoods and going to Sabaneta, Beland, Bello, etc.

I want to make a trip to Medellin. I will be on a solo travel, I only speak English.

I am looking at places like the following:

1. I can definitely hunt beautiful girls here, no doubt.
2. The places are open also during day time. So I do not have to wait until the night.
3. Due to safety concerns, I do not want to play with an escort in my hotel room.

Currently, I only have two candidates, Isla La, and Face 2. However, they open late (in night), also I am on solo travel and do like sitting in a noisy disco.

In short, could you suggest some places meeting my needs or at least close to my needs? In general, I am looking for "safe and daytime-operated" FKK-like places in Medellin.

Ok. Not my experience in locally owned Airbnb's but I know Energy is a bit unique in that it is mostly or all owned by foreigners, and caters to mongers. Generally. All Airbnb's have the option of various methods of pricing, and when I had units on Airbnb one of the options was an automatic sort of pricing offered by Airbnb where the algorithm would price according to information it had. And in some cases it could change from day to day, or certainly from one week to the next and suggest prices 2 or 3 times as high as normal when there was a shortage of units at that particular time. Not saying that is what happened to you, but demand certainly does affect the suggested price that Airbnb provides to the host, if they choose to use that service.

As I re-read my own comment I think I exaggerated the changes in pricing that Airbnb suggests to owners / hosts. In my example my normal price (not in Colombia) was around $120 per day, and at times the Airbnb suggested price would go as high as $170 or so per night, other times it would suggest $90, or less. I never totally trusted these pricing suggestions, especially the low numbers, as Airbnb itself always tries to get it's hosts and owners to lower overall prices to drive its business higher for higher market share.

There are no FKK-like places in Medellin.

During the day there are casas, a basic brothel. You go inside, a line-up of girls is presented to you, you pick one and go to a room to do the deed. Depending on the casa you either pay before, or after, and then you leave.

It's "La Isla" and "Fase 2. " They are both night places.

I feel very sorry for those who live in the past. I live in the expanded presence because the past is closed and the future has not happened. I am not buying that in a city of over 4,000,000 people that those visiting from outside of the country can have an effect overall on this vibrant city. Those running up in here with complaints need to check out some self help books and bring their language and social skills up a bit. To blame others is a cop out and I am basically tired of reading about that shit. Post up some real intelligence or find another place to visit.

I just got back from Medellin. And there is no perfect place. But there is a lot more to like than to dislike.

You got to look at the optics of everything. I've frequented Colombia 5 times. I stopped only because I relocated to UAE for a bit. I'm planning on doing the digital nomad visa next year after I finish my online PhD. The people who are murdered as usually involved in some shady business. The people getting drugged are not vetting girls or making themselves to be a mark in my opinion. For example, there are several videos on social media of Americans flashing clash (making it rain in clubs), getting ridiculously drunk, fucking women on balconies, etc. Everyone there knows you have money by your mere presence of being there (flights aren't cheap), so showing opulence in front of people who are not making a lot will definitely increase the odds of something unfavorable happening to you.

My advice to you is if you invite a woman to your room, don't have anything work a lot of money in plain view (Keep the good guys honest). If you want to part-time monger, stick to Facebook girls. They are all pretty vetted and at least one American on their friends list has been with them and can tell you about it. If they provide drugs, don't take it. Keep your drink with you at all times.

Long-term relationships can be had quite easily in Colombia. Just make sure they aren't party girls. I suggest walking around a mall and approaching women. Hell, even approach them at a restaurant or coffee shop. They are fairly easy to talk to and you can be assured they aren't party girls. Every woman in Colombia is beautiful, you just want a humble one. I don't recommend looking for them online because 90% of them are pros pretending to be regular girls until it's time to meet and they want a payment after you've already met them and took them to bed.
