You really need to take some time and read the forum. Your posts show that you know almost nothing about Medellin. The key to a successful trip is preparation. All your questions have been answered many times. If you want a good trip go back and read.

You might find a place close to the Mansion for $45, but why would you want to be near the Mansion? There's nothing else in the area. There's only 2 massage places in Poblado. You'll pay much more than in El Centro and neither is close to the Mansion.

If you want a $30 hotel look in El Centro. On the plus side, you'll be very close to all the casas. On the down side, walking around at night might be a bad idea. Walking around in the daytime might make you nervous. You're also more likely to find chica friendly hotels in the area.

Your other option is to rent an apartment. Plenty of recommendations on the board for chica friendly apartments.

Staying near the metro is good if you are staying away from El Centro and want to save money. Tickets cost 2300 pesos. If you stay near Estadio, you can save about 10 k pesos each way to el Centro. Same if you stay in Poblado. Most people just spend the money for a taxi. The metro is also the quickest way to get around.

Do I need to be in Poblado. I will be doing escorts and going to whatever massage parlors are near by anyway. What makes a hotel not chica friendly? The way the girl is dressed or no different girls every night. 35 is a good deal tho.

You are going to have to choose between being close to the Mansion or paying $30/ night. I think you best chance at staying near Poblado for that price and being able to have escorts coming and going is to rent an apartment. Be advised that in an apartment you are more responsible for your own security and for verifying your visitors. Plenty of girl friendly hotels are mentioned on this website. Why don't you make a list then look them up on trivago /hotels.com etc?

The area where the mansion is, how many hotels are in that area that are girl friendly for 30 a night. I will be calling a lot of escorts so they would have to be girl friendly. Would I have to go a lot further out from there to get a hotel for 30. Are apartments a better deal.

I hope the news is on the side of natural causes and nothing to do with the locals. Peace be with him.

That is really terrible news Mr. E. I'm sorry for your loss. Sixty-one is way too young for that.

Thanks that website proved legit for at least one gal.

There are always uber cars available at the airport. They charge 40,000 to 50,000 to Poblado depending on traffic conditions. You can check their availability and get a fare estimate at any time, you don't even have to be in Colombia. If you use uber you know you can change your location or send a car for someone anywhere uber operates, from wherever you are.

Less than 100 feet past those exit doors, there are two Bancolombia ATM's on the right side. Last week, I got 600,000 COP (about $200). I tried to get another 600,000, but it refused. Bancolombia does not charge any fees for using their ATM's.

I have never tried to get Uber from the airport. I imagine it is very hit and miss. There may be a driver hanging around if he has just dropped someone off. Just outside the ATM's, to the right, there should be taxis. Most of them are white, but there may be some yellow ones there. They should have some official markings to indicate they are official. I don't think the airport allows gypsy taxis in that area. You will go past people outside of baggage claim asking if you want a taxi. I have never went with any of those, but my guess is they are probably gypsy drivers. There is a set rate from the airport to downtown. I think the white taxis are 60,000 and the yellow are 65,000. Confirm before you leave the airport. Either will take you directly to your hotel. Uber or a taxi is your best bet late at night.

Most brothels are open on Sunday, but not as many hours as other days.
