These have no exposure to culture.

Of course there not all hookers, not every woman in any of these countries, I myself have been to 3 out of the 5 you list and now in Medellin BUT it is true that in Colombia selling pussy is so ingrained in the culture, such a fine line between a normal professional type woman and making some money on the side, that I can understand why a monger can have this mind set albeit not the norm.

    Just my two cents.

I see it a little differently. I do notice the mentality you described but I don't think it's very common among guys who spend time in places beyond the Mansion, casas, strip clubs, and freelancer bars. Every so often, and it is very noticeable, I see a guy who is in a supermarket, a university campus or other public place leering and gesturing at random women. It's not a good look. Unless a guy is developmentally disabled, it doesn't take long for anyone to pick up on the social cues in the reactions of people (not just the women) when they behave like they are in a monger venue in a public setting that is not a monger venue.

I had that issue my 1st time at the Hotel Botero on the 5th floor, now I insist on the upper floors, was on the 14th floor this last trip and had zero noise issues.

If you do stay there ask for a top floor and the west side of the building, stays cooler in the morning and has a better view-the side opposite the street you come into the lobby from. Also tell them you want a mini-fridge and fan in your room.

The Mansion maybe has a higher tripadvisor rating. YMMV I guess.

Not really. 20 years ago there were only 3-4 swingers clubs in the Phoenix, AZ metro area, an area with a comparable population to Medellin. San Diego only had 1 club at that time, Las Vegas, 3.

For the upper class, swinging is more of a private affair. Their parties aren't open to everyone who has a few pesos. That's why you'll find mostly middle class people at a swingers club.

Any decent swingers club will limit access of single men. As a rule, single men behave badly in a swingers club. Especially when the number of single men greatly outnumbers the number of women. Couples are much more likely to be interested in either another woman, or another couple than a single man.

For each club, there are 2 to 3 open swinger parties on the weekends, but you need to be connected with the local swingers community to find them. Don't ask me, I'm not connected here and don't plan to be any time soon.

From what I understand, Viviana in Bogota pays women to fill the club for nights when single men are allowed in. Lilli in Medellin probably does the same.

Thanks brother! Took me awhile to write the report, but, we got to pay our dues. I still need to write the Bogota report, which I feel I had better experiences in Bogota!

    Golden Lesson

I discovered this FANTASTIC report by Routard in the Bogota Thread.

Among all the useful information that he provided, I wish to highlight this Golden Lesson, especially for someones who wrote on this thread:

Are all Colombianas potential prostitutes? This is a very common mistake made by gringos who can only meet prostitutes and therefore believe all Colombianas are prostitutes.

No, BOG scene is not better, unless you have a girl with you: as I wrote, I know only one which allows single men (but I never spent long periods in BOG, so I may be wrong).

There is not one club which outstands others in MDE, in my opinion. Maybe Lili, but again if you have a girl.

And I don't know Vivianna in BOG. I can't judge if what's reported there is exaggerated or not (probably yes). But one thing is sure: that report from Routard is SUPER. He knows what he is talking about. He knows more than me (he claims he has lived in Bog for two years) and I can confirm whatever he wrote and I know. I could not mention a single wrong thing there.

In general, they are run down and "caseros": basic infrastructure and not high class people. From outside, they could be intimidating for a first timer: no sign, only a bell to ring.

In Medellin, I went many times to all three, but I had some good fun only when I went there with a girl (I gave her only 100 k for the accompanying me there) on nights reserved to couples. On the nights for couples, some girls are really STUNNING (beware: also the guys are handsome, so do not expect the girls jump on you, unless you look like Brad Pitt). I saw many young couples around 20yo-25yo range.
I would not recommend you go to these clubs, unless you stay there for many days and have explored the scene enough. If you want to get laid, swinger clubs are not the first place to consider..

Several of them only accept couples. Most of them accept singles only on some days of the week. For example, in MDE the 3 most popular (Dreams, Lili and another I forgot the name) accept singles one on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. In Bogota, I know only one which accept singles (and it is the most basic and run down).

The operation is simple: you leave all your clothes, phone, things in a cabinet and can keep only a towel around your waist. They give you a bracelet for the key of the cabinet and condoms. Entrance fee is cheap, at least for us foreigners: it could be from 30k to 60k for a single male (when admitted). Drinks are for a fee, but really cheap.

The good thing is that they all have a sauna and steam bath. Some even a jacuzzi for 5.

How is the people there? On the nights for singles, few couples, mostly aged, some looking for playing with singles. YMMV! I spent full afternoons in Bogota in that club, doing nothing except looking the naked ladies playing with her husband. Other times, it was really a blast: I remember a couple from Leticia, where she was really "India", short and round but firm and sexy. Insatiable. Her husband insisted that I gave her lots of semen to drink.

Not to mention you have 4 strip clubs within 2 blocks and ChicosPunta and Yakusa real close too. And 24 HR food across Maracaibo near the metro at Brase Pan and the airport bus right there and the VeraCruz girls only a block or so. Although I like the Botero, being 15 stories it's hard to beat the view out of the upper stories, esp at night. And only $25 a night.

Costs $34 a night. Important point is time management. I have a room to relax between casa visits. Trip from Poblado to casa takes 30 minutes during day but 15 minutes during night, want to reduce travel during day. I won't recommend nutibara more than two days, not good to stay in room for long hours due to noise issue.
