I am a new user to the guide so I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences and reading about yours.

On to business! So, this is my first time coming to Colombia and I have heard a lot of great things and that Medellin was the place to go, so, that's where I am going.

Can I get some guidance and help about what bars or clubs to go to for girls? I have been to Tijuana, Thailand, Manila, really all over so I am not sure if I bar fine a girl or I just go to an actual "brothel" or how it works best in Medellin.

I have heard of a place called the mansion, I have read about Colombia Jake and I have seen many ads for independent escorts with flat rates. My head is spinning! I'm going to be there for 3 days, where is the best place to go or what is my best option for the hottest girls with those famous Colombian curves!?

Wow only 3 days? First advice would be at least lengthen that a day or two. Colombia is not like SEA where the girls are served to you on a platter. Generally speaking there isn't much done in the classic BF model from SEA.

Most of the daytime action is centered around the Casas downtown or perhaps calling a freelancer over to your place. Night time action can be the strip clubs like Fase2 or Luna lunera or others along with dates set up again with free lancers you have met online or exchanged numbers with at the strip club, the mall, gym etc.

How is your Spanish? It is a rare girl here that speaks more than 10 words of English. Even if you do speak Spanish well I would consider staying at the Mansion your first time especially since you are staying only 3 days. If you strikeout one day you have lost 33% of your trip. When I go for a month and strike out one day I lost 3% of my trip. The Mansion is kinda like a bed and breakfast house. Girls come and hang out by the pool during the day and at night some stay and some go home to take care of their babies and then more girls show up to their bar. Girls pretty much go for 150 k pesos for 1-2 hrs. All night is usually 300 k. Very easy to have a good time there. Bad news is the quality of the girls is 7's? Almost never 9-10's. The other benefit is at the mansion you will meet a bunch of other guys in Medellin doing what you are doing and you possibly can join in on a casa tour or strip club run.

Now you need to go RTFF. All the info is in there, yes you have to sift through a lot of useless posts but in between there is good info. I don't mean go back 5 pages I mean 100. For my trip to Pattaya in September I went back 100 pages and read forward and I am not new to Pattaya as you are to Colombia. I've been there 8 times and spent a total of 6 months there but still I went back and read.

It seems like you are leaning towards the Mansion or ColombianJake. I would say don't break your head. Keep it simple. The hot Colombian girls are everywhere. Since you only have 3 days, make a decision to staying with either one and enjoy those three days to the fullest. You won't go wrong by going to the Mansion or Colombianjake. The problem you have is one of limited time and too many P4P options in Medellin. Just keep it simple and make your reservation. At the mansion or Colombianjake, you will get your Colombian curves, will get the chance to explore other places, casas, night clubs, etc, and will get the guidance that you need so they are both good points to start for a newbie in Medellin.

I've written before about staying at Colombia Jake's place. (Actually, it's the only place I've stayed for mongering in Medellin.) I once did TLN which was very satisfying. 300 k to the girl. Reading the board, it sounds like you can have it cheaper (about 200 k, maybe even 150 k), but as you point out, you take a risk, while in my experience Jake's girls have been consistently good in looks and attitude.

Thanks and heard from two full timers who live here this week, who are very sharp about being taken advantage of, got drugged and robbed after inviting a girl over from Colombia Cupid! The girl was very disarming by saying she wasn't there for money and she was a veterinarian. At some point she was able to put a sedative not sure which, but the police didn't think it was Scopolamine into their drinks and both went out for several hours while she cleaned house. Both of my suggestions require you to speak decent Spanish and are late night / early morning, and will work better on weekends. First, you can try Luna Lunera near closing time (2 or 3 am I believe). The chicas there will often be happy to leave with you, or meet you at your apartment, especially if you have bought them a few drinks. The second option is Fahrenheit disco after 3 am or so. It is a regular disco with normal couples and chicas but plenty of prepagos as well, including some who go there after the strip clubs close. In both cases 150 K to 250 K pesos might get you TLN.

Well, call me romantic but I am looking for the old fashion TLN. I am wondering, are there any pick up places for quality chicas without taking my chances at a randomly chosen club?

Search the key words Medellin Dec and you should get a good number of results. The two weeks before Christmas are some of the best times to visit. The Christmas-NYE to like 10 days after are horrible!

For TLN, Colombia is nothing like Thailand, where you can buy pussy by the pound and keep it as long as you want. Now, the US? You must be joking, right?

Also, difficult to build rapport and connection when you're there for a week, with limited language ability.

Colombia v Thailand v USA are different in many many things but what remains the same world over is simply build a connection and your chances increase she will stay longer or overnight.

Example 1: all the fuck over the Pattaya boards and AC boards people are lamenting that girls just don't go LT from the gogos much anymore. Bullshit, they do. Every girl that I wanted to take LT in those places in Sept. / Oct. Did why? Because I had spent time with them building a connection. One time exactly as I was paying my BF there was another guy next to me trying to take a far uglier dancer out. She wouldn't go LT with him, refused even when he offered her 1000 more. Ohw YES! You caught where's the flaw. Time for bravest guys to invest some time to learn/improve Spanish before traveling, unless one is satisfied with a series of ST sessions and visits at local brothels, maybe accompanied by an older brother.

In DR, CR, Colo, Peru, Arg, Ect. If a guy is with a SUPER hot girl and he speaks 3 maybe 8 words of Spanish and she speaks 0 or 2 words of English. This is the dead give a way. Like in the USA I worked in nice bars and steak houses all in my College days. Its the way the girl dresses and if the guy is not dressed accordingly. If he's in Jean and a polo shirt; you know looking nice and presentable and she's in a slutty dress and 8 inches heels? Not too hard to figure out.

Good point, personally I figured that went without saying (how can you act natural and appear actual friends without speaking the same language?) however the comportment of other gringos in Colombia tells me differently.
