[The Tall Man]

Just wanted to bookend my trip with this post that I am back in the states after 2 weeks in MDE. This trip spent more time with friends and simply enjoying the city with the nightlife and outskirt areas.

Other than a few very memorable casa visits at Energy (by the stadium) and New Life did not spend much time on the hunt. Perhaps I am just getting older or my mongering days just are not as exciting as they were years back. None-the-less had a great time and I will return. I must say that the experiences I had with the casa girls were some of the best GFE, fun and playful, that I have experienced in any country at any time. These Paisas really know how to treat a man!

I have earlier plugged Jake, because I enjoy the "girlfriend date experience" of going out for drinks and dance with someone who acts like she's my girlfriend. Here are the four dates from my last trip.

Note: I speak decent Spanish. I give them a total of 250-300 mil pesos, which is higher than the suggested 220 or so. You can have plain sex for cheaper, but for me the quality usually is worth it.

The first night I was with "YY", 21 years old, who has been working a regular job for one year after finishing a degree in Economics. "YY" is 5'2", slender, long black hair, cute. We went to Parque Lleras...

Pub Rock opened this weekend in lleras and the live band had a nice sound playing covers and rockin the house! Good crowd but its definitely a place you want to bring a date. Had a group of four lonely mongers sit down near me and my girl and all they did all night was stare and wish they had what was sitting in my lap! Next time they will give me a call! Hotel Sites is indeed chica friendly. Direct from my review on TripAdvisor:

"Single gentlemen, you might be wondering, Is Hotel Sites chica friendly? The answer is yes, but remember that when you make your reservation, make it for two people and not one. If you make a reservation for two people and then bring your chica back to your room, the additional cost is only 7,500 COP. However, if you make your reservation for one person and then bring your chica back to your room, the additional cost is a much-higher 100,000 COP".

According to the receptionist, the 7,500 COP charge is simply insurance you are buying in case your guest breaks something or runs off with hotel property.

And yes, Hotel Sites is in a very quiet area. You may hear an occasional motorcycle tearing-ass up the street, but you won't hear any highway or Parque Lleras noise at all, even though those things are only a few-minutes walk away from the hotel.

Don't know how I missed that part.

Tried last week unsuccessfully to find it but finally found your review today on Tripadvisor. Is the general area quiet, and was it chica friendly, and if so what are the terms?

Nothing like that in Poblado, I'm here right now, the only pick up action in Poblado is the Mansion and that's geared more towards only serving its guest, it generally frowns on outsiders. Apart from that most people here do Facebook hook ups with girls. Best to try to get on the good side of some of the Medellin regulars on here and see if they will suggest you as a friend to some of the Medellin FB winners. Apart from that there are the casas during the day time, can always find a hottie in one of them and prices are pretty low but services can often be clinical tipping can often get a little more liberal service and then there are the strip clubs Fase Dose and Show San Diego to name a few at night, and then there is Mayorista street about a two to three block area where they have freelancers on one side of the street. Low prices but often sterol service. Most guys here are Mansion regulars some guys on here will do the Apartment rental thing and have FB hook ups.

You might want to take the time to read the Medellin forum thread, as well as checking out the threads on the Colombia index. You might be surprised at what you will find. Posters do not like to spoon feed other posters who have not done there own due diligence before asking questions.

This is my biggest pet peeve per se with the forum, is when posters refuse to take time to do their own due diligence before asking questions.

Or pay the 20 bucks so they can pm their questions and not tie up the board with old news that's been covered repeatedly.

Is the mansion more like the sportsman in CR where they have girls loitering or they have to be called in and requested? I'm trying to see if there's any reason for me to stay in the Poblado area than an area with better hotels since I'll most likely have to order takeout anyway.

I've been a lurker and will be in Medellin for 17 days. I've been to Philippines, Costa Rica, pattaya, and panama. Does the Poblado area have a specific pickup bars / discotecas for prepagos? Are there any specific known hotel bars that they frequent? I've been to panama and was wondering if they have an area like Habanos bar or the Veneto. Casas are fun and all but I really prefer the free range type. Thanks. And yes I did use the search.

Medellin will never have a place like that; they won't allow it. They do not want to become a sex tourism destination. Everything needs to be discrete.
